The student has not reached a standard described by any of the descriptors below o o o o o o The student applies and displays very rudimentary frisbee knowledge, skills, strategies and concepts. Their movement and footwork is lacking control. Student can execute a short pass or a unobstructed catch. Students transitions from offensive to defensive actions when possessions changes. Student is not consistent with dominant hand skills. The student does not demonstrate any consistency in a game situation. The student applies and displays on a basic level some frisbee knowledge, skills, strategies and concepts. Basic offensive and defensive strategies such as man to man defense and fast breaks are demonstrated with some success. Student shows some consistency with dominant hand. Students will hit their target or team mate 25-50 percent of the time when passing.

The student is reasonably competent in applying and displaying frisbee knowledge, skills, strategies and concepts. Shows field awareness when passing the frisbee to a team mate but lacks accuracy and strength. They will reach their team mate when passing at least 50 percent of the time. Student is consistent with dominant hand and makes minimal attempts with non-dominant hand. Students are not adept at moving to open space to receive a pass. Simple offensive and defensive plays are executed with success. The student is competent in applying and displaying a range of frisbee knowledge, skills, strategies and concepts. Student can successfully and consistently deliver the frisbee to teammates. They will reach their team mate when passing 75 percent of the time. They perform a variety of offensive and defensive plays with success. Students can demonstrate both man-on-man and zone defensive tactics. Student is adept with dominant hand and shows some consistency with non-dominant hand. Student is adept at moving to open space to receive a pass. The student is highly competent in applying and displaying a range of Frisbee knowledge, skills, strategies and concepts. They combine with others to consistently execute advanced plays, such as switches, screens and team defensive plays. Student can feign successfully, and will demonstrate strategic movement and positioning without the frisbee both on offense and defense. Student will maintain control of the frisbee when strongly defended.

Student can use both hands to catch and throw. The do not rely solely on their dominant hand. Student will reach their player 90 percent of the time when passing.
