Change will always exist, it has a effect to us in a society. A big society cannot live alone without change but change is for all of us. Once we have change in society, it follows everything to be change. As every leader that will lead it has always difference and changes that, we must follow, in order to have progress and can easy for us to interact in the society. Changes has a big impact to us, the same in our culture and tradition that we are being influence by other country and patronize their culture instead in our own. We are not concern on what is happening in our society right now. The disappearance of Filipinos values no longer exists in the youth, we must not only consider in our self-but in our nation and its outcome to us.

This essay is base in the truth that is happening, it is more relevant in the problem in our society, the poverty that cause people to be poor. It expressed in the essay on how he/she saw the child namamalimos. Poor is the low level in the society that people might step in their dignity, to insult and do violence. In this problem, it must be resolved and do actions to help the poor and to end their injuries that happening in the society. They have the option to work and to leave behind their miserable and hopelessness. Nevertheless, it is difficult to a poor to voice out on what they need or going to do. If we remember the history of the Filipinos on how we slave us under the Spanish rule. How pity Filipino is that can be treated in that way. Therefore, we must not ignore and do violence to the poor to the poor people but help them to make a move and start a new beginning. That we must tell them, it still has a hope for them to live and improve the way of their living.

In this essay, Filipinos has different characteristics, values and the way of living that we had. Filipinos has a way of thinking that can easily distinguish us. Like crab mentality, we do things individually but not as a whole. One of our qualities is on how we think small that causes the development of our country low in progress. Sa una pa lamang ay nahubog na tayo sa kasaganaan at kaginhawaan. Mapayapa ang pakikitungo sa bawat isa, at maging sa edukasyon. It is important to have knowledge of yesterday, without memory, there is no guide of tomorrow. The world is always changing. Changing is the product of progress movement toward a goal. The Spanish influence like education, religion and governing, which has a big impact to the Filipinos. And we can see, our culture is not fully developed, because we patronize other culture like in America that is fully influence us the way we dress, talk and lifestyle. How about our culture? It is suddenly fade away because of this. We Filipinos are lack of consciousness so we are easily be captured and slave by the Spaniards. History is indeed something to say us, but we must not expect it to say what we please. It has a truth of its own which is objectively and extramental. Instead of patronizing others, how about our culture to develop and practice it well. It is not enough that we know about Rizals life but our past that what we made us to be a Filipino during in the century. Our Philippine culture will never lose because it always remains, it is us on how we use it to exist in our daily life.

The image of the woman

Everywhere we turn into in todays society advertisements are telling us what it means to be a desirable, attractive man or women. For men the tendency is to be rich, strong, powerful, and dominating. For women the message is consistent through out: she must be beautiful. Greek philosophers Plato and Socrates were attempting to define beauty. They thought of objects or nature as being inherently beautiful: beauty is inside the object, "The beauty within an object is it's pure and ideal beauty" (Plato 48). In our present time beauty no longer resides inside. It in completely outlying. The road to become beauty is a long, hard and most importantly thin road. Being thin is the biggest emphasis on people today. In earlier times thin was not that in. Fuller figured women were the ideal pictures of gorgeous.

New Yorker in Todo

This story is base in the reality on what is happening of every Filipino who will go abroad. When I read it, Kikay change so much just a few months in New York it seems to her its been a long time, she forgot already her own place. It influences her so much the way she talks, dress, and attitude of the citizens in New York. Going back to her home town her friends cant believe that their dearest friend Kikay have change a lot especially treating her boyfriend that she left. She adopts her attitude of being a New Yorker in Tondo the way she approaches to people. Even each of us will go to other places it will never change of being who we are, a true-blooded Filipino. In kikays life, it is easy to her to adopt and leave all the memories in the past. However, without past there is no hope of tomorrow. However, when it comes to her love, she cannot accept that her love was engaged to other woman. Her memories bring back as she realize on what she did. Even though

she used to forgot the past it always bring back on who she are in the past and what she is for now.
