1.2 Organizational culture


What is culture?
The attitude, traits and behavioural patterns which govern the way an individual interacts with others is termed as culture. Culture is something which one inherits from his ancestors and it helps in distinguishing one individual from the other. Organization culture refers to the beliefs and principles of a particular organization. The culture followed by the organization has a deep impact on the employees and their relationship amongst themselves.

Definition of organization culture


Organization culture refers to a system of shared meaning held by members that distinguishes the organization from other organization. Organization culture or corporate culture comprises the attitudes, experience, beliefs and values of an organization.

Culture is the system of informal rules that spells out how people are to behave most of the time.-Deal and Kennedy (1982)

Basis of organization culture

Feeling- Employees are feeling about organizations values , norms , rules behavior , safety culture, welfare .it also consider good feelings ,bad feelings, innovative feelings, feeling about gatherers in organization. Thinking Employees are thinking about values, norms, rules , behavior . They decided what kind of work do, Good or bad, thinking is the main base of culture and this thing is established good culture. Expression- Employees those thing are express and helpful to management and directly or indirectly co operation to organization members. Expression is established and sustained the culture. Action Action is one kind of culture. Employee is following rules, norms, behavior through action. This action may be good or bad.

The discipline in the factory means to follow the rules, regulation, systems, process, values or norms of the organization followed by the organization from time to time. The course of disciplinary action would be somewhat as under: First - verbal warning Second written warning, Counseling Third- Show Cause Notice Suspension and Dismissal

Furniture & StationaryFurniture and stationary are completely new and consider required number. Furniture are well furnish and well maintaining in HARSHA ENGINEERS. 7.
