The Cocoons Creed

I believe that amidst the darkness, crisis and confusion of my world, a
new, wide and beautiful world is in the making.
I believe that that despite my past behavior and my present limitations,
a major transformation of my being is brewing.
I believe that this crisis will lead to metamorphosis, this darkness will turn
into brilliance, and the death of my old self will give birth
to a shining and transformed being that is me.
I believe that this painful process I am undergoing will only prove
that I am powerful beyond measure; that I am a joy
and a beauty to behold, and that I am a child of the universe.
And thus I DREAM.
In this wonderful sleep, I let go of the pain and I focus only on the dream
of my higher being.
I surrender my being to let the Imaginal in me take command.
I take courage to make the blind leap.
The nurturing faith in all Goodness, in my spirit I keep;
I treasure hope in beautiful things yet unseen.
I give all the love of my heart in every beat.
As my old self withers away,
I let the Creative Spirit touch me and mold me
to usher in the birth of my new self.
My old world and my old self will simply become a bad dream that I will
forever forget as I wake up a new being, completely transformed.
So I open my new wings to reveal my shining effervescent Self
and embrace the whole world with love and compassion.
I believe this is what the Universe designed of me
and this is my unalterable destiny.
I AM FREE.

FOREWORD

his year is a perfect time to mark as a period dedicated to the total

transformation of humanity. The conclusion of the ancient Mayan Calendar
did not mean an end, but a beginning of a grand and beautiful Age of
Peace and Prosperity.
Yet now we find ourselves living in an age of irony and paradox:
Where human progress threatens to destroy the planet itself.
Where Democracy created a situation of endless war and conflict, with
nuclear armaments having the combined capacity to destroy the planet ten
times over.
Where prosperity has left billions dying of hunger.
Where we have discovered many things, such as the beginning of the
universe, the gene of life, and the structure of the atom, but lost our hearts.
For the very first time in the history of the earth, the survival of human race is at
stake; and the whole Earths sphere of life is threatened on a large scale.
It is in this CONTEXT that humanity is called to awaken. Now we are able
to grasp the reality that within each of us is a divine and creative spark for total
transformation. Within each of us is a piece of the sun, the fires of creation where
we can claim our divinity and realize what it means to be totally human and free.
Science has now realized what the ancient mystics have known all along: that
everything in the universe exists within each of us. The structure of the Milky Way
galaxy even resembles the neurons in our brain-mind. This confirms the ancient
hermetic principle: As above, so below. As within, so without. Thus our world
is only an externalization of our internal states. The oppressive social structures
are only a manifestation of the internal structures of our culture. The social and
environmental landscape is the outside creation of our mindscape. We realize that
we are able to manifest our Creative Selves and harness our divine potential.
Thus, Personal Mastery and Social Transformation are inextricably linked.
Every month in this planner has Personal Mastery tips and exercises as well as
brilliant ideas for Social Transformation. As in any creative endeavor, humans
must link arms with each other to achieve greatness. There are also tips for
creating and managing the catalytic and potent collective agents of change: the
Imaginal Organizations of humanity.
In these times of crisis and opportunity, peril and possibility, deep foreboding
and ancient longing, a race has begun. This is the race between the forces of total
destruction and total transformation.
The task ahead of us can be astoundingly complex or profoundly simple: we
need to remember our ancient connectedness and our divine heritage in order to
transform our world.
Let the questions in our minds dawn into answers in our hearts. Let the
nightmares turn into creative visions of the future. Ultimately, the answer lies in our
hands. Which path will we choose?
Use this planner as a mark of your resolution to make this world a better
place. This can be a wonderful tool to welcome the dawning of our new
humanity - a New World.

Our political system of peace and democracy is actually based on war

and the constant threat of nuclear annihilation,
where every nuclear armament owning country
are in a constant guard on who
will be able to annihilate
each other first.
Climate change is on a
dangerous upward path towards causing global

fuels in due time, then
the whole human race
will come to an end.

SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION

Signs of a Global Crisis

1. Our belief in unlimited material progress has led to a dead end
where majority wallow in abject poverty while Mother Nature who
is the source of all life is utterly ravaged.
2. Our search for security and survival has led to fierce competition
which has multiplied global insecurity exponentially.
3. Countries are all preoccupied with National Security to the point of
creating global insecurity by creating nuclear armaments which
have the combined capacity to destroy the earth ten times over.
4. The promise of technology to improve the quality of human life
failed. Instead technology controlled by the market created
massive social inequality and threatening the life of the planet
through pollution and climate change.
5. The financial and economic crisis is not created by lack of money
or products but by too much money used by the rich to make or
break the destiny of nations and too much goods which they
cannot sell leading to bankruptcy.
6. We have had major scientific advances in genetic technology,
quantum physics, space technology, nano technology, and robotics
but we cannot solve the major problems of our age such as poverty
and climate change.
7. Counter terrorism has not only multiplied terrorists all over the
world but turned counter terrorists to be more dangerous and
terrifying as their enemies.

MOVEMENT OF IMAGINALS
How to Trigger a Planetary Metamorphosis
The Renaissance is an example of a planetary metamorphosis. The secret
of triggering a planetary metamorphosis today is to create an Organizational
Movement of Imaginals. The Organizational Movement of Imaginals
derives its inspiration from the metamorphosis of a worm to a butterfly as
a metaphor for inner and systemic transformational change. The key to this
transformation is the emergence of new cells, called imaginal cells. They are
the new cells of the future butterfly. They are an image or building blocks in
the present of a future reality: the butterfly.
In societies around the world, there are imaginal individuals who bear
within themselves in the present, the future possibilities of humanity.
An imaginal, displaying a minimum of four traits:
One who has consciously developed, at minimum, beginning aspects of
Personal Mastery including self-awareness, selflessness especially in ones
motive for action, co-creation with others, altruism, optimism (the capacity
to meet challenges in a creative manner and thus never give up) and an
unshakeable spiritual alignment with the intentions of the Divine Intelligences
that are active in shaping the world or God, Brahma or Allah, in the language
of many cultures around the world;
One who places this Personal Mastery in the service of the world in the
form of an inspired initiative;
One who actively seeks the creation of higher forms of collectivity and
collective action (including but not limited to a synergy of initiatives) and,
upon this platform, engage in similar activities in the larger social world
in order to birth a new societal order that nurtures imaginality and thus
advances true human purpose and dignity.
One, who finds time, in addition to existing responsibilities and the above
imaginal activities, to reach out and communicate with and be in the presence
of other imaginals, in order, among others, to mutually enhance the depth and
effectiveness of the three other dimensions of imaginality enumerated above.
The key findings of Network Science provide valuable clues on how to do
this. The organization should have the following characteristics.
Segmented: greatest latitude and leeway for local decision-making and
activity.
Polycentric: multiple leadership at multiple levels of organization.
Integrated: harmonization of the different decentralized efforts to ensure
coherence at higher and greater levels of organization.
Network: seamless and continuous communication across all nodes.
