People do different activities according to what they like or their age. For example, youngsters are always listening to music or studying. Men are more related to outdoors activities such as taking out the garbage and mowing the lawn. Women on the other hand are related to indoor activities such as ironing clothes, cooking or singing. However, there are activities that we all do no matter your age such as sleeping or eating a nice sandwich.

You will read a comic explaining how to make Hotel reservations by phone read it and then complete the activities. The sentences in bold are the most used by the receptionists.

2. Once you have finished with your role play as receptionist, you will change the roles and this time you will be the customer.

Your name is Peter Steinson you are a businessman of a very important bank. You are attending a meeting in order to close a contract with Japanese bank. You will have to make a hotel reservation by phone. You will be there in the first week of April between Tuesday 3 and Friday 6. You will ask to the receptionist if the hotel if it is located near the Japanese bank where you have scheduled the meeting, and also that you want a big room and breakfast included, preferably in a high floor because you would like to see the city lights in night.
