1. Introduction This project is designed to further the achievement of the objectives set out for the course and will form part of the courses assessment. 2. Specific Objectives

To develop an understanding of, and skills in: Overall process of Estate Agency Practice in Malaysia To ensure competency of learners in delivering professional service To ensure familiarization of property segments in Malaysia. 3. Submission and Assessment Your report must be submitted by 0930 hours on March 21st ,2012. The submission should be typed and in report form. Your report will be assessed against the criteria set out in Section 7. This coursework will count for 20% of the course mark (Tutorial, Test and Attendance is 20% and the exam counts for the other 60%). 4. 5. Scope of Assessment. Background and overview of the selected area of study. You are expected to provide tremendous report concerning the current market trend of Demand and Supply relating to the economic milieu of Malaysia. Occupancy Rate study of the segments selected. Analyzing and Commenting property data to provide feasibility of the property Investment. Critics (if any) if the population overspill relating market price, socio-economic, infrastructure as well as pollutions. Basic Market Forecasting for 2013 and 2014 . Method of Assignment.

Learners are required to set up a group consisting of 5 to 6 members and each group must be lead by an Estate Agent in Practice. 6. The allocation of marks gives an indication of the time-commitment to be devoted to each aspect. Report writing skills are important. If the report is difficult to follow or contains typos and spelling errors, you are unlikely to obtain further business from clients. There is nothing intrinsically difficult about report writing yet many students underperform on this issue. For this reason, 25% of the marks have been allocated to encourage you to improve your report writing skills. There is no reason why you cannot obtain almost full marks for this aspect. It is expected that considerable time will be devoted to the proposal, as this requires you to develop your ideas and technical views of the property. For this reason 60% of the marks have been allocated to this task. It is important for you to use secondary data and analysis, However primary data is not necessary to do so. This has been allocated 15% of the marks. It is expected that the finest and professionalism of report shall be submitted for approval. Any unsatisfied work will be returned to the student for corrective action and shall be resubmitting after 4 days from the date returned. 8. Report Format

The technical requirements of the written submission are as detailed below. a. The length of the written submission should not exceed 25 pages. This total is inclusive of the report narrative and appendices. The latter can include plans, photograph and data. b. For each page in excess of the limit referred to above, there will be a deduction at the flat rate of 5% per page. c. Use Arial 12-point font and 1.5 spacing throughout (with adequate spacing between paragraphs) except for headings and title pages d. Use an appropriate front cover. A template will be made available. e. When you are writing bibliography please using APA format.
