PARTIES, FUNCTIONS & EVENTS

Introduction
The following is a selection of our most popular Dinner & Lunch set menus. Menus are arranged individually and can be tailored to meet your requirements. These Menus will give some idea of the nature of dishes offered to larger groups. We will be happy to structure a menu around specific requirements including special diets. All the meat we use is Irish, locally sourced and traditionally reared. Our fish is from sustainable sources. All of our produce is locally sourced where possible. Our very popular desserts are prepared in house by our chefs.

Venues
We have two event/function venues, ideally suited for all kinds of events and parties including meetings, lunches, dinner parties, cocktail, canaps, functions and launches. Capacity for our restaurant and function room is up to 100 persons seated 120 for a less formal occasion. Our bar is a very popular venue for birthday celebrations and other parties.

Pricing
We do not include a Service Charge; gratuities are at customers discretion and goes entirely to the staff. All prices are inclusive of VAT. Please enquire to make sure that prices on this leaflet are still current when you make your booking. It is the policy of the company to issue receipts to customers. Your payment, which is appreciated should always be supported by a till receipt.

FIXED PRICE DINNER MENU FIRST COURSE

Crispy Breaded Mushrooms With a tangy garlic dip Seafood Hors Deouvres Selection Of Chilled Seafood with salad leaves & Marie Rose Dressing Egg Mayonnaise Hard Boiled egg dressed with mayonnaise and served with salad leaves and house dressing Hot And Spicy Chicken Wings Served with a Sweet Chili Dip Hand made Fish Cakes Broccoli and the freshest seasonal fish, served with lemon and herb mayonnaise Chefs Classic Caesar Salad With croutons, lardons of bacon and a home made Caesar dressing Breaded Brie Wedges With a home made onion marmalade Duck Liver Pate Made at home to a highly prized (secret) recipe and served with toasts

Sharing Platters Offer your party the opportunity to enjoy starter tasting platters! Groups of three/four share a platter of breaded mushrooms, chicken wings, prawns in filo pastry and home made duck liver pate on toasts. As well as offering your group wider choice and variety, the sharing experience enhances the conversation and helps to get the party started.

SECOND COURSE
Choose 4 of the following options
The options below are the more popular choices for set menu dining. It is possible to design a menu to include more expensive meat cuts, e.g. Steak/Duck/Monkfish. Equally, it is possible to add less formal dishes to your menu (eg pasta/stir fries/pies). Please contact us at reception to discuss options and see the fork buffet menu to get a sense of what we offer in the way of sauce based dishes.

Roast Sirloin of Prime Roscommon Beef With rich gravy from pan juices, dressed potatoes and best in season vegetables Supreme of Irish Chicken. Fillet of Irish chicken with a champ and herb stuffing. Served with an Irish Whiskey Cream. Accompanied by a selection of seasonal potato and vegetables . Traditional Roast Turkey & Ham with herb stuffing,a selection of seasonal vegetables &potato and a rich gravy made from pan juices Seafood Medley Selection of 2 of todays catch served with a rich Seafood Veloute. (Cod & Salmon are a good guide)Seasonal vegetables and potato to complete the dish.

Breaded Cod & Chips A whale of a fish with seasoned chips, mushy peas and a tangy tartar sauce Chefs Cold Meat Platter, Selection of cold cuts, todays joint served with Side Salads, wholemeal Brown Bread or French Fries Hannons Seafood Salad Selection of warm and cold seafood including a slice of todays catch, served with salad leaves, potato salad, coleslaw and brown bread Vegetarian Spring Roll with Side Salad & Fries Chicken Stir Fry Served with rice, vegetables and your choice of Soy or Black Bean Sauce Smoked Chicken & Pepperoni Pasta Tagliatelle with a White Wine & Mushroom Sauce

VEGETARIAN Choose 1 of the following options


Vegetarian Spring Rolls with a Sweet and Sour Glaze Penne arriabiatta with spicy tomato & basil sauce & parmesan cheese Roast Mediterranean Vegetables in a Basil & Tomato Sauce on a Bed of Pasta Mushroom Stroganoff with Savoury Rice

DESSERT Choose 3 of the following options


MAURA DOWLINGS HOUSEMADE APPLE PIE Our own stewed apple with a hint of cinnamon topped with a sugar based crumb. Slowly baked to perfection and served warm or cold with custard or fresh cream BREAD AND BUTTER PUDDING

House made warm traditional Bread and Butter pudding scented with Jameson whiskey and served with custard. RICH CHOCOLATE BOURBON BROWNIE Rich chocolate with a suggestion of Bourbon and served with Cream and chocolate sauce. CHEESECAKE DELICE Sumptuous fruit or baileys flavored cheesecake, served with cream and a fruit coulis PROFITEROLES With A Rich Chocolate Sauce and vanilla ice cream. BANOFFI PIE Dulce de Leche on a crunchy biscuit base, with banana & fresh cream SHERRY TRIFLE CHANTILLY Served chilled with custard or cream TIRAMISU A firm favourite; coffee drenched sponge with cream and suggestions of chocolate. HEARTY BREAD & BUTTER PUDDING Layers of bread and fruits of the forest baked with egg custard and served with a soul warming dollop of custard cream.

Perhaps your guests would a little sweet variety! Consider a medley of desserts for your guests i.e. mini portions of 3 items from the list above organized on each plate. All of the above served with Ice Cream, Fresh Cream or Custard as Required.

BUFFET SELECTION
The following is devoted to finger buffet and fork buffets. We have listed our suggested buffets based on what has proved to be popular. So please feel free to add to or mix the suggested menus. Should you have any special requests or dietary requirements, please do not hesitate to ask and we will be more than happy to help if we can.

COCKTAIL STYLE BUFFET


The delivery/style of Cocktail Style Buffets is at your choosing. Options include 1. Waitresses mixing among your guests during the evening with your buffet selection on platters. 2. A Buffet table from which your guests can help themselves with tables and seating in the same room we will keep it stocked and tidy over the course of your event 3. The delivery of platters to your guests who are seated at tables. Selection of Sandwiches
