I am Andrew Thomason, the Human Resource Manager of HOTEL VERTA LONDON we have reviewed your CV concerning your job application and we are willing to give you this job as soon as you answer the following questions for your interview.

It was happened 17 years ago when I started working as ass. Waiter, and since than I cannot see myself doing something else. Since than I worked into all hotel departments, except top management. I find myself working only in this field of industry( you may call it passion). 3-What do you know about hotel and Hospitality sector? The most dynamic and demanding sector but the most beautiful one. The hospitality sector includes all businesses that provide food, beverages, and/or accommodation services. This includes: restaurants; pubs, bars and clubs; hotels; contract catering; hospitality services which can be in ground hospitality (Hotels an Lodging), cruise hospitality (cruise lines) and air hospitality (airlines). 4-What are the various sectors in the hotel industry and why are they important? A. Accommodation - Available on offer to suit any visitor, tourists or business budget like: Self-catering e.g. timeshare, holiday cottages and holiday flats. Full-service establishments e.g. full service organizations, guesthouses, game lodges, etc. Selected service e.g. budget organizations, bed and breakfasts, etc. B. Conference Centers - These specialize in hosting conferences of various types and sizes, and they have a business relationship with the accommodation establishments in their vicinity to provide accommodation to conference delegates. They can make a major contribution to the success of the industry because they attract delegates for business reasons, and give us the opportunity to turn them into loyal visitors who return. C. Food & Beverage outlets - These are food and drink outlets that add to the variety available to tourists. They range in formality from fine dining restaurants to a seaside takeaway stand. They impact on the experience enjoyed (or not enjoyed) by visitors. D. Industrial Catering - This service offered provides catering for large groups of visitors or tourists and supports the club/conferencing sectors. E. Gaming - These are usually casinos; game centers and water type entertainments offered on site or nearby hospitality establishments and offers hours of fun filled entertainment. 5-We get a lot of irate and angry customers. How do plan to deal with them?

The most important think it is to anticipate the guest needs and expectations, and things like this should not be happened, but if unfortunately it is happened I use some technics like LAST for example. 6-What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years? I want to run a hotel and in ten years from now I intend to run a hotel chain as a CEO.

7-What are some of you greatest achievements or successes? What are some of your worst failures? Great achievements were several projects while working for Etihad Airways (Tailored service product for Japan flights, pre-opening and opening Etihad Lounges), working in a Relais & Chateaux (SilverSea Cruises). The worst failure was not being able to go into GMP with Cornell University. 8-Why did you leave your last job? Why do you want to leave your current position? I left my previous job because they didnt pay my salary for more than seven months. 9-What upsets you/tries your patience? Whatever that endanger the satisfaction of the guest, missing communication, missing OTP. 10-What makes you the best candidate for this position? What do you think you bring to the table? The experience gained during the years covering ground hospitality, cruise hospitality, airline hospitality; I have a visionary and leadership attitude, I form and lead teams, I am focusing on guest concern and profits for the company I am working. 11-Would you be prepared to take a less money but for a job you would much prefer? Yes, if it is also bringing me a development plan into the next future. 12-Do family commitments restrict your choices? No, they dont. 13-Why do you want to work for our hotel? I worked before for a boutique hotel and I find the mixture between boutique and luxury, something that can represent myself. This way I can be more into one to one engagement with guests and theirs needs, and tailor the offer in order to their satisfaction.
14-Are you willing to relocate to United Kingdom to do your duty as soon as possible? Yes I am. 15-Will you comply with the rules and regulation of our company?

Yes I will. 16-Are you willing to obey senior workers for the growth of this company, even though you are older than them? Certainly, I worked before with General Mangers younger than me, and not only. 17-What job position did you apply for? Deputy GM, Operation Manager. 18-The CV you sent, are they for you, and best describe you?

The recommendations people in my can best describe myself, my CV could be better in different format, maybe giving more details about the budgets I worked with. 19-What questions do you have for us?
A. What was the Occupancy Rate for last year? B. What was in percentage the F&B revenue (with and without MICE) from the total hotel revenue? C. It is your hotel one of the Von Essen Hotels?
