Hellol, Some great results last week for the Aces who were all back in action following the Christams and poor weather break. The Kent side did very well beating Sutton away from home 3-0 in the Kent Cup to reach their second semi final of the season. The first of which is being played today. Good luck boys. However success in the cups have put us

well behind in games played in the league. Lets hope this does not resort to midweek games to play catch up. Our Gravesend first team also enjoyed a walkover beating Kent Celts 11 goals to 1. This has virtually secured the league title although mathematically they can still be caught. Lets not forget that they have also reached three semi finals. The Gravesend reserve side lost narrowly 4-3 away to Horton Kirby who seem to be our bogey side. A missed penalty cost us an equal share of points, but the performance was very good considering the absence of some regulars. The Reserves have also reached a semi- final this season. Can I also remind all of the Respect policy and indeed our code of conduct. We have lots to look forward to as stated 6 semi-finals between the three sides who are all also vying to win their respective leagues. Thanks again, Les harpley (Chairman)

Kent County Les Leckie Cup Semi Final Sat 25/02/2012 2.15pm N.K.A Vs Sevenoaks Officials: Mark Foley, Steven Martin, Andrew Halpin Aces play the first of their two semi finals today against Sevenoaks. Whilst our league position looks more favourable than Sevenoaks we should not forget that Sevenoaks were one of the two teams who have managed to inflict defeat this season when they thrashed us 5-1 at their ground. Still we have had some resounding results since and it should be a very good game. Joe Creasy appears to be the player from Sevenoaks to watch out for with a tally of 16 goals so far.

N K Aces Res V AFC Millers. Official: Lee Crow N.K.A Reserves play Millers in a game where three points are vital for both sides who are challenging for the Division 2 Title. Millers enjoyed a 7-1 victory last week away to Joydens Wood while Aces lost 4-3 to Horton Kirby in the Everden Hospital Cup. Steve Hucks Centre Back West Ham

Steve has been with the Aces for a number of years now and played for both the Kent and Gravesend league sides. The tough tackling Centre half also knows how to score a goal and scored the equaliser at Stonebridge Road stadium, home of Ebbsfleet Football Club last year when Aces won the Mallinson Hospital Cup 2-1 against arch rivals Lullingstone Castle. Steve is what anyone could want as a centre half, team player and leader.
