The action can be a habit, a hobby, a daily event, a scheduled event or something that often happens. It can also be something a person often forgets or usually does not do. I dance every day.
Present Continuous : am/is/are + present participle - if it is used with normal verbs, will express the idea that something is happening now, at this very moment. It can also be used to show that something is not happening now; I am dancing now. - it can be used to say that we are in the process of a longer action which is in progress; however we might not be doing it at this very moment; I am studying to become a doctor. - it can be used to indicate that something will or will not happen in the near future I am not going to the party tonight. - together with words like always or constantly, it expresses the idea that something irritating often happens She is always complaining about something.
Present Perfect Simple : Auxiliary Verb (to have) + Past Participle. - it is used to suggest that a past action still has an effect upon something happening in the present. I have learned to drive a car 5 years ago
Present Perfect Continuous : subject + auxiliary verb + auxiliary verb + main verb have has I have been dancing for two hours. been base + ing
Past Tense Simple : past form of the verb - actions which occurred at a specific time in the past - completed actions - past actions I had lunch today.
Past Tense Continuous : was/were + present participle - interrupted action in the past I was dancing when he came. - parallel actions I was reading the newspaper while mom was making dinner.
Past Perfect Simple : had + past participle - completed action before something in the past I had been there one before - duration before something in the Past By the time she got home, her mom had finished dinner for 2 hours.
Past Perfect Continuous : had been + present participle - duration before something in the past I had been dancing for two hours when he invited me again.

Future Perfect Simple : - will have + past participle By the end of the week you will have danced for more than ten hours. - am/is/are + going to have + past participle You are going to have danced for more than ten hours by the end of the week.
Future Perfect Continuous : - will have been + present participle You will have been waiting for more than two hours when her plane finally arrives. - am/is/are + going to have been + present participle You are going to have been waiting for more than two hours when her plane finally arrives. Future in the Past : - would + VERB He told me that he would dance at this party. - was/were + going to + VERB He told me he was going to dance at this party.
Future in the Past Continuous : - would be + verb+ing He told me he would be dancing at this time the following day.
