The New Tacoma Awards, presented by the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber recognize business organizations and individuals making outstanding contributions to the revitalization of downtown Tacoma. Official Rules
1. Nominations may be submitted using the printed form or online by visiting www.tacomachamber.org. 2. All entries must be received in the Chamber offices by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012. Mailed entries must be received by this date and time. Incomplete entries are void. 3. Nominations are open to businesses and organizations physically located within the official boundaries of downtown Tacoma, as established by the City of Tacoma. 4. No self-nominations of individuals will be accepted. Businesses, organizations or individuals may be nominated by employees of the same.

5. Employees of the Chamber and their immediate family members and/or those living in same household are not eligible. 6. Award winners, from among all eligible entries, will be selected by a panel of judges comprised of previous award winners and other downtown stakeholders. Decision of the judges is final. 2012 winners will be announced at the Chamber Luncheon on July 13, 2012. 7. The Chamber is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries, illegible entries or entries containing incorrect information. The Chamber is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone, computer or internet system or services.

8. Acceptance of an award constitutes consent to use winners name and image for editorial, advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation or notification. Entry information may be shared with award judges. 9. The Chamber reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify this awards program in the event the program cannot be completed.
