The Frankfurt Schools success story is constantly being written by our graduates. For more than 50 years now, we have been providing broad basic training for upand-coming talent and advanced courses for experienced practitioners. Our graduates use the comprehensive in-depth knowledge that they gain here to shape the world of business in Germany, Europe and beyond. Consequently our students are drawn from a global pool and our campus is a meeting-place for students from every continent. Outstanding research results and an excellent teaching record are the hallmarks of a business school with a modern format. We prepare our students for their future responsibilities by following a policy of strong practical orientation, with the solid backing of scientific facts and theoretical knowledge. And we provide a broad platform for debate and fruitful dialogue. The close contacts we maintain with companies and organisations worldwide enable us to develop global counselling and training schemes that are geared to the future needs of the business sector. We offer a wide variety of programmes ranging from Bachelors and specialist or generalist Masters degrees to Ph. D. courses. The Frankfurt School is Germanys market leader in the field of in-service training and continuing professional development. If you had to sum up the Bachelor experience at the Frankfurt School, how would you describe it? We provide a rigorous and very solid academic programme that teaches our students everything they need to know to start their career in business. We believe in laying a solid foundation of relevant knowledge that our graduates can draw upon later in their work. At the same time we expose students to the latest concepts in management thinking. While we demand a lot from our students we support them in every aspect to help them succeed. This makes for a very friendly atmosphere on campus that values team work and collaboration. Our graduates leave not only with a top-class degree but also with friends for life.
Is studying at the Frankfurt School different from doing a Bachelor at another top international business school in, say, the US or the UK? Many of the principles and concepts of management and business administration that students will encounter during their Bachelor studies are taught elsewhere
How is the mix between international and German students? We attract both international students and top German students with a global mindset. The percentage of foreign students has been rising over the past years, but Germans still constitute a majority on campus. That being said, the teaching language for the Bachelor programmes Business Administration and International Business Administration is English and the groups are always mixed. Foreign students are integrated quickly by their German counterparts, who are eager to make them feel at home. Special initiatives such as FS Buddy also help to settle in. You recently moved to Frankfurt after working in Stockholm and Geneva. Hows life in Frankfurt? Frankfurt is easily Germanys most international city. Home to many banks and financial institutions and to Europes third biggest airport, foreigners have been a part of the city for a long time. Even if you dont speak German you wont feel out of place. At the same time, Frankfurt is centrally located and an ideal starting point to explore Germany and the neighbouring countries. It is a cosmopolitan place, but not too big to be inconvenient. What are you planning for the Bachelor programmes? We are constantly enhancing our programmes. The Frankfurt School is as dynamic as the world around it. Currently, our aim is to expand the number of coop-
erations with business schools abroad, in particular in emerging countries the markets of the future. Also, we are looking into ways to give students even more possibilities to develop their professional personalities through mentoring, leadership coaching and other tools.
Do you speak German? If so, you may be interested in one of our four Bachelor programs in German: Betriebswirtschaftslehre Dual a Business Administration programme that combines fulltime studies with a job in a bank Wirtschaftsinformatik Business IT, also in combination with a job Betriebswirtschaftslehre mit Schwerpunkt Wirtschaftsprfung a programme with a focus on auditing that we run in collaboration with KPMG Management, Philosophy & Economics if you want a broad perspective on todays challenges without neglecting management skills
I really appreciated the international atmosphere at the Frankfurt School. The opportunity to have English taught courses in a German environment is a unique experience which helped me to smoothly get familiar with the German culture and language. Jules Chouffot (France)

As a consultant Im constantly confronted with new topics and I have to be able to familiarise myself very quickly with complex issues. What I learnt at the Frankfurt School still helps me to get the big picture and to process information. The close links to the real world of business at the Frankfurt School and the personal network I built up while studying are really great. Anja Reichardt (Germany)

In consultation with you, we can develop an individual career plan that matches your abilities and aspirations as closely as possible. Feedback
FS Buddy The idea of FS Buddy is to give our international students some guidance for their start in Frankfurt. For each international student, a German student serves as a personal buddy. Your buddy will usually pick you up at the airport, accompany you to your residence and generally help you settle during the first weeks. FS Buddy also organises several social events and sightseeing tours. The goal is not only to share the German culture but also to experience the specific traditions and cultures of our fellow international students.
We attach great importance to openness, transparency and a climate of mutual respect. While our programmes dont feature scheduled consultations as such, students regularly provide us with valuable feedback. Which means the content and quality of our teaching are also subject to continuous improvement. By being open to your questions and suggestions, we can swiftly identify and implement ways to improve our programmes and optimise our delivery. Lets be clear: we succeed when you succeed.

BEYOND TUITION
European Central Bank a close neighbour of the Frankfurt School campus, as a matter of fact. Building on the terrible experiences of political failure which led to the Second World War, Germany developed the Social Market Economy as the guiding principle of mediating between business, politics and society, contributing one foundation stone for prosperity and peace in the growing and deepening European community of nations. The Social Market Economy takes for granted the responsible nature of business and its deep-rooted setting in the larger context of concerns for social justice, constructive and inclusive political debate and sustainable ecological development. Germany is a federal system with a large variety of regions, which have distinct traditions in business and social contexts, ranging from coastal states with their long historical tradition of global trade to the southern states with their unique clusters of engineering excellence. You only need to take a few steps to pay a visit to Germanys European neighbours in the east, west, south and north, offering a wealth of different historical legacies, lifestyles and cultures. The diversity of Europe and six decades of internal peace are the root causes of European competitiveness and creativity. The European experience will make a profound impression on you and will exert a lasting positive influence on your own professional life.
