Consider : a) that upon the issuance of Presidential Decree of Republic of Indonesia Number 57 Year 2004 regarding Stipulation of Sugar

as Goods and supervision of the Republic of Indonesia Presidential Decree number 58 year 2004 on the Handling of Imported Sugar In The Unauthorized, then in order to achieve food security and increase economic growth in Indonesia and the community creating self-sufficiency and improve the competitiveness of sugar and sugarcane farmers' income and the sugar industry, have taken the effort to maintain the supply of sugar as a raw material and consumption derived from imports;
b) that in relation to this view in a letter, it is deemed necessary to revoke Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 643/MPP/Kep/9/2002 of Commerce Import Administration view reordered Sugar Sugar Import Provisions in question; c) that therefore it is necessary to issue Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade; given to : 1.
