Major properties Short site equipment costs due to the compact system Compact plant with its own power supply no external supply needed Smooth inner surface Precise cutting
Technology The old pipe is cleaned, calibrated and inspected Excavation of installation pits Regular Pipes are used (up to 150 mm on coils, all dimensions above single pipes have to be welded) Installation of the welded pipes with a winch Quite big Reduction of Diameter Annulare gap between host pipe and new pipe Applications For almost all materials DN 80 - >1000 mm Major properties Up to Do 160mm as bundled coil available Mechanical and chemical properties of PE-Pipes Reduction of cross section Requires a big excavation pits and big space for laying out of welded pipes
Technology The old pipe is cleaned, calibrated and inspected Regular Pipes are used Installation through manholes or installation pits Connection of the pipes in manhole/pit Connected Pipes are pulled/pushed into the old pipe Reduction of the Diameter Applications For almost all materials DN 80 - 2000 mm Major properties Reduction in cross section Annulare gap between host pipe and new pipe Installation of big dimensions requires big excavations
Close-Fit Pipe
Technology
Use of a pre deformed PE pipe with reduced diameter. The Close Fit liner is inserted in the old pipe through existing pits or a small trench excavation pit. Reforming of the Close Fit Liner with temperature and pressure to a round pipe. The new pipe is pressed close fit on the existing pipe. The r.tec CF Liner is connected to the existing network with PE fittings.
Applications
Drinking water, gas, industrial, oil, sewer For almost all pipe materials Diameter DN 80 400 mm Installation length limited with drum capacity
Major properties
PE100 pipe SDR17, SDR 26 or SDR 32 PN 10 bar for water- and PN 6 bar for gas pipes. SDR 26 or 32 for sewer pipes. Standard product is black with blue or orange coloured stripes for water or gas. (totally coloured liner on request) Packaging: coiled on a drum
Advantages
Just little reduction in cross-sectional area (wall thickness of the pipe) Static and mechanical properties comparable with the properties of a new PE Pipe No / just minimal digging Extremely long and no-dig installation possible (e.g. 956 m in one installation, Italy 2005 ) No welding seams and perfect inner surface. Good chemical and physical resistance Bends up to 15possible without excavation.
Connection Technology Basically the connection is done with Electro fusion Fittings! Electro Fusion Fittings: There are two types of electro fusion fittings which are used for the CF- Liner, standard E- fittings or relining transition fittings. (Depending on Dimension)
Connection to the system After the extended cooling time the expander is put out of the CFLiner. At the standard edge or into the second side of the transition coupler standard PE fittings can be installed.. Connect section with standard PE-pipes or weld on a PE-loose flange and install further armatures.
Connection of junctions To connect junctions to the Close Fit Liner a small pit is required The pipe must be opened in the area of the connection before the CF-liner is pulled in! To realize connections special Fittings and a Top Loading Equipment is used.
CIPP - Technology
DN 80 bis 1800 mm
Range of Dimension Presssure Pipes: W2 and W3V1: W4: Sewage Pipes: r.tec S CIPP (pull-in or water) 80 1200 mm 150 1400 mm
The liner is brought into the pipe through with special reversion machine
Also applicable for special profiles A smooth surface of the installed system Long installations possible High chemical and mechanical resistance No corrosion No welding seams Smooth inner surface No (or just a little) reduction in cross section (wall thickness of the liner) No / just minimal digging
Composition: Needle felt hose with a Polyolefin - coating. The wall thickness can be design with various felt layers. Epoxy Resin with very high mechanical properties.
After Rehabilitation the house connections are opened with a cutting robot. Because of the high bonding between liner and old pipe no additional works are required. The liner is cut in the shaft and adapted to the existing pipe/channel. Because of the bonding with the existing pipe no additional sealing or protection is required
Very good adhesion on almost all surfaces, even when wet very low shrinkage while curing (no mass lost) -> no ring gap Opening of side connections through a robot without additional sealing No stress Cracks because of the ductile behaviour High mechanical and chemical properties good environmental compatibility (resins with drinking water approval available!) Epoxy liners are impregnated near the site very flexible project management possible no problem with the storage of pre-impregnated Liners
Materials: Needle felt hose with a Polyolefin coating and a Preliner Foil. Pre-impregnated with Polyesther or Vinylesther Resin The wall thickness can be design with various felt layers according to the condition of the existing pipe Specifications: Liner with a Preliner Foil is inverted into the old pipe with a special drum Curing with Steam or Hot water Internal Lining without bonding to the existing pipe Gap between old pipe and liner House connections have to be sealed with hut systems After cutting the liner special sealing required in the manholes
Materials: Liner made of Glass layers Pre impregnated with Polyester or Vinylester Resin
System: Pull In System with Preliner foil Curing with UV light or steam
Properties: High mechanical properties (E-modulus) No bonding with the existing pipe Additional sealing required for house connections and in manholes

Specifications: System for pressure pipes with drinking water approval Internal Lining as corrosion protection and sealing of gaps, holes and leaking joints Ring stiffness is possible. Depending on the design, the system is able to bear a part of, or all external loads. The systems is able to resist the internal pressure on defined openings and holes. (size depending on the design)
Materials W3V1: Round woven textile hose of polyester fibres with special coating (depending on the medium). Felt layer as additional carrier material for the resin Wall thickness according to the static calculation. Epoxy Resin with an high E-modulus.
Composition: Symmetric construction of fibre glass- and felt layers. Wall thickness according to the static calculation. Special Epoxy resin for the impregnation of fibre glass layers with an high E-modulus. Preliner is used
Drum Winch
Technology r.tec high pressure liner is a flexible woven textile Liner with very high tensile strength. The Liner is outside and inside PE coated. The Liner is inserted into the existing pipe with a winch. If the Liner is totally pulled-in it is blown up with compressed air. So a new pressure resistant hose So the pressure resistant hose lays close fit in the existing pipe as a new high-pressure pipe.
Application

Major properties
r.tec high pressure liner shows a high flexibility in combination with a material strength, that is known of steel pipes so far Wall thickness ~ 6 mm Pressure class 16 bar; 25 bar; (40bar on request) Packaging: coiled on a drum
Advantages
Installation length up to 2.000 m Just little reduction in cross-sectional area (wall thickness of the liner) Round bends up to 15are possible No welding seams and perfect inner surface. Good chemical and physical resistance No / just minimal digging
Limitations
DN 150 500 Bends with more than 15must be removed House connections in the section not possible only for transport mains No ringstiffnes external loads must be taken by the existing pipe.
Connection Technology
