About students of the university from various districts are getting financial assistant in the form of Mora Scholarship every year.

Objectives
The scope of the this scholarship includes numbers of scholarships for the students who are needy and eager to equip themselves with quality education without realizing any financial hindrance as well as to enhance their talent for the development particulary in education sector. The scholarships are awarded into the following disciplines:

Management Sciences Computer Sciences Agriculture

Scholarship Offering Comprehensive scholarship is offered under the program. The scholarship provides funds for the following expenses:

Eligibility Criteria

Not more than one person will be selected from one and the same household for the sanction of MORA scholarship. Payments will be made at the full monthly rate, which will not be curtailed to a lesser amount to accommodate additional beneficiaries. Scholar will be determined by the Local Zakat Committee of the area of beneficiarys permanent residence. A two percent quota of funds allocated will be reserved for the disabled (as approved by Central Zakat Council). Separate record of all scholar certificates renewed during a financial year will be maintained. No application shall be considered unless it has been received through proper channel. Applications of the most deserving persons will be considered in order of priority within the budget allocation. Local Zakat Committee members and Chairman would be responsible to exercise to extreme care and stick impartiality in selecting the rightful beneficiates. The list of the selected beneficiaries will be displayed prominently and prompt action will be taken to satisfy any objection made against the selection of any beneficiary.

How to Apply
Scholarship Award Process

Application can be ontained from the district zakat committee offices. After receiving the applications, the eligibility of the scholar assessed by the IMSciences Grants/ Placement Office. Qualified student can obtain their scholarship amount from the accounts section at the institution.
