modern innovative and cost effective way. The products of the company have been designed to meet the needs and convenience of corporate Ghana and individuals. Thus, Oak Medicals has a system that controls the financing and delivery of health service to its members. We also work with a network of reputable hospitals, diagnostic centres and pharmacies acting as service providers. Oak Medicals Ltd deals with the administration, management and financing of the healthcare requirements of organizations and individuals. Our healthcare plans for corporate groups are customized to meet the terms of the companys conditions of service and their healthcare budget. The current functions of Oak Medicals Ltd include: The administration of mutual health insurance scheme (HealthMaster). Advisory service on health promotion. Emergency and ambulance Service. Occupational health advisory service.

PARTICIPATING HEALTH FACILITIES

3.1

Affiliated Clinics/Hospitals

Healthcare facilities eligible to provide medical services under this Agreement are listed below. In dire emergencies however, cost incurred as a result of accessing healthcare from other registered but non-affiliated health facilities will be covered by this Agreement. 3.2 Government Hospitals

Oak Medicals or any of its affiliated hospitals and clinics may refer serious cases to tertiary public hospitals for specialist care or diagnostic tests. The costs incurred by staff for services obtained from the public institutions following referrals or in dire emergencies will be covered by the scheme.

3.3

Pharmaceutical Services

Most of the participating hospitals have fullyfledged pharmacies to dispense medications to clients. In an event where a particular drug required is not available at any of the hospital pharmacies, the drug may be procured from a recommended pharmacy. The cost of these purchases will be covered by the scheme.

3.4

Medical Laboratory Services

The affiliated hospitals have medical laboratories which perform most diagnostic tests in haematology, biochemistry and microbiology. When necessary, clients may be referred to outside medical laboratories for special tests. The costs of these tests will be covered by the scheme.
