Our essential and basic necessities for life are not that many, after-all. In the order in which Ifa lists them, they include, (a) life: Odumares generous gift to us, one his creations; (b) blessing: we need all the blessings we can get to support the individual life so given to us by Odumare; (c) wife/husband: we need good spouses with whom to share the blessings received; (d) good children: we need good children to complete the ever evolving cycle of humans nuclear families, plus, good children are boosters to humans earthily possessions; (e) long life: at the onset of the evening of life, we begin to petition Odumare to grant us the luxury of continuous breathingto live longer on earthand speed becomes noticeable during this period because months and years seem to move faster than before; (f) at the full blast of that evening period, however, daily petitions to Odumare always include repeated requests for Good health.
