According the statistics, more and more people are choosing the paternity services and the number of this choice has increased more than sixty percent. Mothers are likely to suffer from the postpartum depression. Usually, people have a common feeling that How can? Postpartum depression has not yet aroused widespread attention because people prefer to attach importance to physical ailments rather than mental illness. General families cannot notice the postnatal turning point of patients and give the emotional supports to them in time, eventually leading to worsen disease. So, if postpartum mothers have their husbands accompany, their probability of the depression will reduce a lot. For husbands, they can share the responsibility of caring for babies and encourage their wives to talk with other novice mothers. By doing so, the chance of getting the postpartum depression is fundamentally minimal. As a result, paternity leave is essential, necessary, and indispensable. Carrying out the policy is not enough. Also, it must be used with an improved package of measures. Sometimes, companies which offer a paternity leave do not distribute salaries in the period of leave. Instead, companies which allow fathers to stay home with their newborns still should pay the money to employees or at least let them earn partial pay and benefits.
