Why do I sell this wonderful villa on the Golf del Sur in Tenerife?

After retiring from a hard but successful business life in the mid-eighties, my wife and I was searching around the Mediterranean, Portugal and Madeira for a perfect getaway during winter monthssomewhere with warm weather, warm sea and somewhere where I can enjoy a round of Golf! It turned out that only in Tenerife we could find it all. Weve been there each year, since 1989, always for 6 months in winter season, just like swallows. The rest of the year we were moving back to the mountain area of Salzburg in Austria. Very quickly we have discovered how holistic effect the perfect climate of Golf del Sur had on both of us. Today, at the age of 87, I can say with confidence that it definitely prolonged our life expectancy and improved the level of energy to enjoy every day life! Our villa is set within a magical 1000m2 tropical garden blooming with all types of colourful flowers, plants and trees, which took us many years to grow and a lot of effort to maintain. Over years, we have also transformed the 172 m2 house into 400 m2 mansion preserving its Spanish character but also embellished it with our Austrian heritage and all modern recreations facilities such as swimming pool hall, sauna and hot tub. Recently my wife passed away, after 67 years we have been together, which is a reason for me to put our property for sale. The house carries a lot of happy memories of our wonderful life together and I am sure it can become a perfect home for a different family for many years to come.
