Behavioral Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: 1. Name the animals and their young by completing the maze and write the animals name based on the picture shown.
Vocabulary
: sheep, lamb, tiger, cub, swan, cygnet, frog, tadpole, cat, kittens, cow, calves, kangaroo, joeys, chicken, chicks, deer, fawn, goose, gosling.

Activity Teacher shows the animals shadow in front of the class. Get pupils to guess what animals are there in the picture.

Teacher writes the name of animals and their young in the table on the board. 1) Exercise book -To introduce new vocabulary and practice pronunciation.

Teacher pastes the name of animals and their young word cards on the board.

Pupils read the word on the word cards. Teacher distributes a picture card to each group. -To provide communicative practice.

Pupils discuss the answers in their group. Teacher asks volunteer from each group to pastes the picture they have and match to their names.

Activity Teacher distributes the animal maze to each pupil. Teacher gives instructions to the pupils. Pupils complete the maze. Teacher discusses the answers with pupils. 5) Pupils paste the word maze in the exercise book.
