(3rd period) Open: How much can you identify the language of information literacy standards? Teacher shows students a sample of a word wall piece. Teacher show the pool of words related to information literacy. 1.intellectual property 2.Plagiarism 3.citation (three different ways and parenthetical citation) 4. intellectual freedom; 5. bibliography; 6.MLA; 7. primary sources 8.secondary sources 9. Research question 10. direct quotation 11. 21st Century Literacies: digital literacy, Visual literacy, 12. 21st Century Literacies: textual literacy, and technological literacy. Work Session: Provide a laptop for each student. Students start to create a word wall poster. You need to have the term, definition, and related colored picture. Close: Submit your word wall poster. Read aloud what you acquired. Teacher arrange all pieces into one big sheet to make a big poster. HW: (Differentiated) (1b) (1a)
