THE UPCA
History
The College of Agriculture was one of the first three units organized in the University of the Philippines. When the college opened in 1909, university-level instruction in basic and applied agricultural science was offered for the first time in the Southeast Asian region. Its first dean, Dr. Edwin R. From then on, the College has metamorphosed into a center of excellence for agricultural science in the region.

College of Agriculture Student Council Announcement and Information Board.

This is one of the information dissemination drive arm projects of the CA-SC to promote transparency, awareness and involvement among the constituents of the College of Agriculture. It is a way of service of the council to the students to express their rights to know everything happening in the college specially the current proposals and executed projects of the council. This serves as a ground to develop camaraderie among the CA-SC, CA organization and students belonging to the college of Agriculture. This is a mean of communication to inform the students and the council about the issues and problems being encountered by our college. This project also aims to serve as a "comments and suggestions desk page" to empower the students to express their sentiments and concerns."

If the books are on the processed, it only means that someone has already borrowed for them. (NOTE: sometimes it is better to look for the books directly on the shelves although you did not search it online as long as you are familiar with the access no. of the books.) QH are usually for Biology books and QD are usually for Chemistry Books. Once you found the books you need, and you want to borrow the books, then it is the time to sit on the chair and get your library books borrower card. Fill up the information needed on the card located at the last part of the book (usually name, date, course and college) write the Call no. and the ACC. no on your library card (NOTE: ACC. No is commonly mistaken as to be account no., ACC. No. is the abbreviation for ACCESS no.). After doing no.3, bring your books to the Circulation area then get ready to give the books and the library card to the librarian assigned. If asked to show your ID, do it immediately. After the librarian has stamped your card, you can now go out the library if you want but make sure to have the books checked by the officer in charged at the door of the library. Renewal of books is usually on a two-week basis. Just tell the librarian on the circulation area that you want to renew your books (NOTE: you are just allowed to renew the books EXACTLY on the date that you have to return the books). If you need to photocopy some of the pages of the books, just present the book and leave your ID to the officer near the door of the library, then proceed to the Xerox section.

College Hymn
Hail College dear, thou learning's fountain head of worth untold We proudly sing thy praise and wave thy flags of Green and Gold We love thy fields and pastures where our daily work is done And Nature's endless secrets are unraveled one by one. CHORUS Agriculture College dear, devoted sons we'll ever be Unceasing inspiration do we always draw from thee, We come from all the regions of this Eastern Islands fair And trustingly we place ourselves, in thy protecting care.
