I was walking on the pavement without an umbrella. I was ecstatic at having solved my last murder case successfully. A sense of inner peace touched me like the gentle raindrops of the monsoon season. The murderer was so prudent in his profession that he left no clue behind. Only the blessing of nanotechnology which Prof. Albert Parker developed for me helped me identify the criminal. Being a member of 'Elite Force', I relished the liberty of using the latest technology for my missions. The 'Elite Force' is known for its indomitable spirit in facing the worst possible challenges. It is not just the 'Protector' of the citizens but also the sole power who has the authority over all other defense powers of the world. Ever since childhood, I always fancied walking in the rain. But the fear of getting my clothes drenched in the rains never permitted me. Now this fear was no more a hurdle as the water resistant polymer nanomaterial sealed me from getting wet. I walked to my concept car and opened the locking system by typing a code in the Car Application of my I-phone 7. The electricity level of my car was low; I needed to go to the power-booth that was a fifty kilometres away. For the emergency power I made the solar panel of the car active but it wasn't of much use as it was raining. I also switched the power source of the windscreen active. This Concept car developed by BMW is one of the best Green Cars. It can survive in the worst climatic conditions by dint of its extreme adaptive powers. The windscreen of the car has a transparent flexible carbon coating affixed with a polymer. Carbon is black in normal conditions but in Nano level the world gets different. Graphite when vapourised and then condensed back to its normal state is converted into carbon Nano-tubes. Unlike carbon, it has extremely different properties. It is not only transparent and flexible but a thin film of such carbon can conduct a thousand times better than copper. This flexible sheet of carbon can entrap a high quantity of energy by converting infrared radiations into electrons. This sheet of carbon is chemically combined with a polymer that enables it to flick incoming energy to the interior or exterior of a certain room. In the bleached condition, it flicks away energy from the interior of the car thus keeping it cool without an AirConditioner. In a similar way, in cold conditions, when the carbon polymer is in an unbleached

state, it absorbs energy into the car keeping it warm inside. This carbon sheet is combined with another Nano-material that consists of a detector and an emitter which can trap the electrons on its surface until required. So storing of energy gets easy and it can be utilised in future. I poured myself a glass of water from the Aqua Nano fixed inside my car. Nanotechnology has helped man drink not just rainwater but even sea water with this superior water-purifying Technology. This technology makes use of different types of Nano-bots to detect micro-bacterial germs and kill them, to separate salt crystals from a salt solution and to enhance the mineral content of water. I had to wait for some time for my car to come back to life by deriving some energy from the surroundings.

Everything was finally coming to a close as he lay down on the granite floor breathing in the final breaths of his life. The sun now shone in the hazy blue sky as the only source of illumination. He could see somewhere beyond life, something much more fascinating than life. A blue carbuncle which lay entangled in his fingers was the key to all of his Nano-secrets. The assassin said picking up the piece of magical blue carbuncle which he held in his fist. You cant beat the security of the most powerful force. The grip of his fingers was finally getting lost and he was somehow letting the blue carbuncle go. The magical stone he preserved for so long was now going into wrong hands. The stone was the symbol of explicit power. It is a way to the secret portal of his lab. The password the killer demanded. It is scripted in cryptic codes, you wont find it. The killer held the blue gemstone by his hand and placed it gently in a glass container. He drew out a pen from the inner pocket of his coat with which he sprayed UV rays all over the stone. Some code was written on it. It was finally getting formed.

ADMIRE THEM

The etching on the magical stone was now visible in the radiation. The blue carbuncle glowed shinier now. It was now emanating a fraction of the immense energy it held within it. The pyrex glass container was carefully placed in a Platinum-Iridium case in his briefcase.

How did he know? Someone has betrayed the Elite Force. This is impossible........" Albert Parker blubbered with the last fringe of life left in him. His end drew nearer. The password-stone

was almost getting stolen now. He was helpless; all he could now see was death hovering over him. The slow poison was consuming him. It was a death he shuddered to think of. He was dying putting the world at the verge of extinction. He regretted that he had developed the automation to destroy the Better World he had envisaged all these years. He pressed a button on his wrist and transmitted an audio signal.
My phone buzzed: 'The Holy Secret is in danger. Admire Them.' I activated the 'Emergency Energy' button on my car and raced at its highest speed of 500km/hour on the superhighway with the proximity sensors switched on. These sensors would automatically stop my car in the event of any obstacle propping up in my path. I entered the 'Blue Sphere', the lab of the Nano-scientist who was brutally murdered some moments ago. He had been one of my favourite people ever. Professionally, he supplied me with the most sophisticated technologies to help me accomplish my missions. My team-mates Caroline and Edward had reached there already investigating the scene. The Nano Warriors have been stolen from the secret vaults of the lab. Edward said. Dooms day it is today, I hurried to the vaults, The world is no far from the Apocalypse if we dont find a clue. Inform all higher authorities and send the message to every country. Angz, is there no way to save our planet? Caroline asked. The 'Nano warriors' were the most destructive artilleries ever designed. They could melt the solids and make them into liquids. They could disintegrate solid matter into liquid state in a flicker of a second. The Nano warriors propagate faster than the speed of sound and once they are started there is no end to them. They were developed to melt metals quickly and without the expense of much energy but in the wrong hands it was just more than simply a doom's day. We need to identify the root of the problem and search for any clues that might help us, Caroline was torn badly. All Prof. Albert Parker left us with is ADMIRE THEM. Try all the possible combination to arrive at a possible solution, ADMIRE THEMhmmmm. Seems like quite an Anagram. It was the password to Blue Sphere but I think it has a dual interpretation. Caroline, I knew Prof. Albert Parker so well. I am sure he would certainly have thought of a way to stop the world from destruction if somehow his best creation falls into wrong hands. The words are making some sense in my mind, Caroline wrote the letters on a sheet of paper and started performing operations on the letters. There must be something that would stop the Dooms day. ADMIRE THEM these words must hold in it the secret we are in search of. Caroline re-arranged the letters of the words ADMIRE THEM to obtain something that fitted into the problem.

THE MERMAID

Wow! You finally got it. I knew it would be something of that sort because he calls his lab the Blue Sphere Does that mean we need a mermaid to save our planet? Caroline looked lost. Well may be something related to The Mermaid of the Blue Sphere which takes me to believe that the Nano-warriors have only a single enemy that can stop it. So what it is? Caroline said, Water??? Precisely, I replied, Water is a magic liquid and it has been something that always was the life of Prof. Albert Parker. The Nano Warriors have only one weakness 'Water'. This fits in well with our problem as waterproof nanomaterial is used to keep the Nano Warriors safe. Every creation of him was somehow or the other related to the mystical properties of water. So he had named his lab 'Blue sphere' to provide shelters to the best creations of the present time. So we need to use water to destroy the Nano-Warriors. We finally have a solution. But is this possible? I tried to recollect anything that might help and my mind took me to one of the lines of my conversation with him. "These ice-crystals don't melt," Prof Albert Parker once told me. Angz, I have some information about VERGIL. Listen. The 'VERGIL' which was made by the Robocraze Company was a powerful Advanced Robot which could infiltrate into any ambience drawing the least attention. This autonomous robot which had an amazing power of entering the most complex security systems to perform tasks assigned to it cost the world 17 million dollars and it was made in the year 2034 after 20 years of research. It is known for its fast speed and its power in tackling with the most arduous tasks assigned to it, said Caroline. Get me VERGIL before the terrorists threaten the world with the magnificent power of the Nano-Warriors, I said. Well, I will speak to the Head of the Elite Forces to import VERGIL as soon as possible. Caroline said in a tone of urgency. The VERGIL was soon brought to the Head-quarters of the Elite Forces. The Nano-Warriors were placed in a semi-liquid inert jelly which is impermeable to water that the Nano-Warriors could not infiltrate easily. This jelly had a miraculous degree of viscosity that is much higher than any other metal in molten state. Once activated, the NanoWarriors would come out of the container in 1 hour. Sir, we got an urgent message now. The whole New York City is under panic. To display the power of the Nano-Warriors, they have placed it on the top of the Statue of Liberty. They say the world will get destroyed today at the stroke of midnight, Edward was horrified. This means we have just 10 hours to the deadline. Get VERGIL now. I commanded with the frustration now getting deeper into me. By the time, VERGIL reached the Statue of Liberty just 10 minutes remained. It raced up the intricate monument in a trice. Panic had struck the city and all souls were praying for the last hope of mankind. VERGIL shot thousands of bullets into the container when the countdown timer read 7 minutes left. These bullets had been designed by Caroline using Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Programmer. She had made use of the ice-crystals that never melt to produce highly infiltrating bullets that could pass through any material. OMG!! The Nano-Warriors are not acting on these ice-crystals. We are doomed. Cant understand what is wrong, Carolines voice cracked the silence.

I took a risk and all we can do is hope that luck turns our way. They are not ordinary ice crystals, these are different. Ordinary ice-crystals cannot infiltrate the jelly layer because of a high viscous drag, I told her. Do you mean to say that the Nano-Warriors cant be destroyed? the Head of the Elite Forces barked. There was no other way, Caroline said. Admire them, I mused, Are they really too strong to be destroyed? Angz, this is impossible, Caroline said, He called the Nano-Warriors the most powerful force on earth. Though no one believed him, I always knew he was right. Now we are all going wrong. Heyy Caroline, they are gaining power. . . . The ice-crystals are melting. Just three minutes to break open the cage and they are eating the jelly and ice-crystals according to what VERGILs surveillance camera says. Admire them, Caroline Parker said, My father was always right. Nano-Warriors were the most powerful. Even the ice-crystals that never melt are melting into water. I smiled at her and she hugged me. Tears welled up in her eyes which she held back for so long. She could not let her fathers years of hard-work go waste. Albert Parker was indeed a genius and his death pained me like a sword passing right through my heart. We did it once again. It was ultimately a sight to watch as the most powerful weapon on Earth self-destructed itself to save humanity. Long live Elite Force! everyone cheered.
