How you get Accurate Carbon Impact Calculations And why can UPS do it more Accurately than a 3rd Party
1. Starts with an accurate company inventory (otherwise you miss a significant portion of the carbon spent to move the product) 2. Needs to include scope 1, 2 & 3 3. Has to use company specific factoring for each mode of transport to be accurate 4. The actual true-up calculation needs to be done with company inventory from the same year as the shipment occurred
