Scheduled Disciplinary Offences : Penalty Guidelines

The list of offences stated in this document is not exhaustive and the suggested penalties are only guidelines. The University, at its absolute discretion, may impose higher or lower penalties, and may change these guidelines at any time. Category of Offences (I) Minor Offences

Suggested penalties

Notes The student may appeal to the Dean of the home Faculty, or the Dean of Students if the disciplinary action is taken by a Head of a non-academic department. For such appeals, a deposit of $50, to be paid to the students home faculty (or to OSA if the appeal is made to Dean of Students), is required. (Such deposits may be reduced by half for students in receipt of University financial assistance on the basis of need.)
