APPLICAITON A true follower of Christ can expect to be made fun of. A true follower of Christ can expect to be hated by the world and even by some claimed Christians. You will have enemies! A true follower of Christ will take a personal sacrifice of some sort (Time, Talents, Money, Your Life)! The question you need to ask yourself today is am I willing to lay down all that I am and take up my cross and follow Christ? How far am I willing to go? Luke 14:26-27 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. (27) And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. Christ gave everything. Will you do that as well? Or will you just give Christ your left overs? Jesus was forsaken by the God of this universe by taking on the sins of the whole world. You might say that for that moment His dad disowned Him! GOSPEL MESSAGE!

MEMORY VERSE
