1.If Jesus rose from the dead, then you have to accept all that
he said; if he didn't rise from the dead, then why worry about
any of what he said? The issue on which everything hangs is
not whether or not you like his teaching but whether or not he

Provide good, well reasoned arguments for the physical
resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. (20 marks)

2. In a discussion during a Bible study examining the issue of

creation a young science graduate suggests that, It doesnt
matter whether you believe in a literal six day creation or in
some form of evolution, what matters is that you believe in
God. What arguments you would use in attempting to
convince him that for Christians there is a big difference
between believing in creation and evolution as the origin of the
human race. (20 marks)

3. Talking about the divinity of Christ Kreeft states,

Christians ought to realise how difficult, how scandalous,
how objectionable, how apparently unbelievable and absurd
this doctrine is bound to appear to others.
How would you defend the divinity of Jesus Christ to someone
believes he was just a good man? (20 marks)

4. "I'm the one that's got to die when it's time for me to die, so
let me live my life the way I want to." Jimi Hendrix
Primarily by using the Bible, explain to the now deceased Mr
Hendrix, why he should believe in life after death. (20 marks)

5. Some modern people believe that Jesus was just a good

man who did not perform the miracles recorded in the Bible.
They believe through his example of love and kindness he
brought out those characteristics in other people too - so in
the feeding of the 5000 Jesus did not turn the loaves and fish
into enough food for the crowd but people started to share
with one another as a result of Jesus teaching and example.
Explain why they should believe in the miracles that the Bible
records Jesus performing. (20 marks)

6.In discussion with a non-believing friend they ask you, "If

there is a good God, why are there pain, suffering and death
in the world?" How would you answer them? (20 marks)
