1. In your role as a pastor in a small local church (70 active
members) you are required to identify and train potential leaders. Describe what features or qualities you would look for in potential leaders (5 marks), and what process of development you would use, including an approximate timetable of progress (15 marks). (5+15 = 20 marks) 2. The church you are pastor of has no written mission, values or strategy in place. The other leaders require you to outline and communicate these to the church. This must be answered from your own personal preference. Write your mission statement (3 marks), your values with biblical justification (7 marks), and your strategy (10 marks). (3+7+10 = 20 marks) 3. As a church leader (pastor) what do you believe are your primary responsibilities, what should you do with your time? Define what you believe a leader is (2 marks) and then describe your responsibilities using clear Bible references to justify your choice (18 marks). (2+18 = 20 marks)
