Future prospects of the business: Since the business is established inside the campus of the UMK which is an entrepreneurial University. The company will use the entrepreneurial skills in order to expand their business and becoming one of the well-known convenient stores in UMK and also in Kelantan providing customers with wide variety of user-friendly products and friendly services.

2.ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND (HISTORY)

Currently, UMK Business Centre which situated in the hostel of the campus of UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA OF KELANTAN (UMK) is under the management of the company named BERKAT USAHASAMA NZ RESOURCES which was found in 13th September 2010 after registering with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) as a Partnership business. The manager of the company, Mohd Nazri Hanapiah bin Sudin who is the responsible in managing this business. The company functions with 6 financial partners and 4 part-time employees and a full-timer employee. Before this business was being established, it has a predecessor which is named as LMS Global Resources. At that time, the business was managed by Sar Mohd. Fadir and Mohd Nazri Hanapiah bin Sudin was one of the partners in that company. The company started small and uses the partners own capital as much as RM 2,000. Its main activity is focusing in selling daily necessities to students in campus such as stationary, food and beverages, top-up service, and so on. At first, the company was established without proper allocation and permit. Although, they managed to have the approval from the authority of UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA OF KELANTAN (UMK) to start the business by renting just a small canopy at a rate of RM30 per day. After 6 months of hard work, they finally obtained a proper location in the hostel of UMK which is situated in the campus itself to run the business where the target customers are students from the campus. After acquiring proper location, the owner of the company start to begin his business with more formative way by implementing a comprehensive business policy as well as established companys objective, mission, and vision. This is to ensure the company can run smoothly and fully function

without any doubt. Time after time, BERKAT USAHASAMA NZ RESOURCES is now becoming a well-known company in the campus of UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA OF KELANTAN (UMK). Now the company provide late night operation hour and more variety of products and services compared to its predecessor to serve the community in Pengkalan Chepa especially students and people living near UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA OF KELANTAN (UMK). They now sell or provide wide range of fully satisfactory products and services such as stationary for students from all kinds of courses. For instance, students from the Faculty of Technology, Creative and Heritage (FTKW) can purchase selected stationary such as pencils ranging from 2A-8B, brush, layout pad, drawing equipments and so on. In addition, they also provide services such as mobile phone prepaid top-ups services for Celcom, Maxis, Digi network territory from as low as only RM3 to RM100 .They also provide cheap printing service for students to do assignment printing costing only 15cent per piece, tshirt, jersey, scarf for Muslims, trophy, laptop bag, banner, towel, stationary and so on. Recently many of Futsal lovers in the campus print their own jerseys and wear it to represent their teams during any competition. They also provide food and beverages for late night hunger-pangs. In the future, the owner of the company wishes to transform the company into a 24 hour operating business similar to companies like seven eleven in order to get more profit and to provide services for the welfare of the students and people in the vicinity.

5.LOCATION OF ORGANISATION The company is currently operating at a room in the hostel in the campus of UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA OF KELANTAN(UMK). The location is suitable for setting up the company because it is near with where the students and part-time lecturers stay, providing a convenient and short distance place to purchase goods and services from the company. Not only that, it is also near to the main campus of UMK where lectures and study. The premise for the company is a room in the hostel of UMK which is on ground floor of the 3 storey building as shown in the picture below. It has an area of 3m by 7m wide space, with 2 ceiling fans, a door and a window. The premise of the company is currently being rented with UMK for RM 150 per month including electricity bills as agreed between both the company and UMK. Basic amenities provided in the premise is electricity only.

6.ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN ORGANISATIONS VISION : With their entrepreneurship skills, the company wants to become the largest convenient store in Kelantan in creating successful entrepreneurs and transforming its business in providing goods and services for its customers 24 hours using the concept of 7/11. PRODUCT AND SERVICE DESCRIPTION 1. Food and drinks/beverages

Food includes bread, noodles, tin foods, ice creams, sweets and snacks. Drinks/Beverages include soft drinks, mineral or drinking water.

Include laundry washing soap, tooth brush, tooth paste, umbrellas, t-shirts and etc.

3. Stationary Provide pencils ranging from 2A to 8B suitable for art course student such as FTKW, layout pad, paint brushes, pens and ink, paper puncher, paper clip, test pad, and etc.

4. Vehicle renting services Provide a daily available vehicle renting services such as cars and van with low cost rate per hour for students to travel around Kelantan.

5. Printing services Provide cheap and accessible computer usage to print assignments with black and white and colour printing for students and staff members.

6. Communication and technology services Provide mobile phone prepaid top-ups for Celcom, Maxis, and Digi(Happy) network territory, internet surfing.

7. Souvenir Students who want to buy items for memory keeping can buy gifts and souvenirs here.

TARGET MARKET BERKAT USAHASAMA NZ RESOURCES which begins to start its business recently. Since the company is operating at where the students and staff members of the University, the target market is convenient store providing all kinds of products and services for students and staffs in the campus. Although there are competitors like Pantai Timur Hypermarket, Seven-Eleven and other grocery stores that also provide similar products and services. Fortunately, the customers would normally come here to purchase products and services in order to fulfil their needs and wants because it is nearer and business opening times are daily. Once the target market is being identified and its needs ascertained, BERKAT USAHASAMA NZ RESOURCES made the necessary changes in terms of production and marketing efforts. 1) Question : What is organizations mission?

Answer : To satisfy customers needs and wants by providing them many kinds of products and services. Besides that, the company wants to train its employees so that after they can have the know-how to become a successful entrepreneur and help the organization achieve its vision which is to be the largest convenient store in Kelantan using the concept of seven-eleven.

2) Question : Who does then organization serve, and how does it serve them?

Answer : Students and staff members of UMK. We will serve and fulfil our customers needs and wants with user-friendly products and friendly services.

3) Question : What percentage of the organizations donation / capital is used for administrative

purposes? Answer : RM 2,000 for starting capital and got some additional after that.

4) Question : What are the ratio of volunteers to paid workers / ratio of part time to full time

workers? Answer : RM 2 per hour for part time workers and RM 15 per day for full time workers.

5) Question : What job or task does the typical volunteer / part time workers perform for the

organization? Answer : All workers work as a cashier, cleaner, stock clerk, and care taker of the business premise. For now, the company only hires a full time worker to do just that since our company is still small.

organization each week for what types of job does the organization need more volunteers / part time workers? Answer : There are no part time worker here only a full-time worker who works from 9am to 6pm then change shift with the owner and other partners from 8pm to 12 am. But the organization doing convenient store needs more workers to achieve the concept of seveneleven.

Answer : Surrounding by UMK students and staffs and the other competitors is located quite far from UMK.

8) Question : Why are you interested in the activities of this organization?

Answer : Although from FTKW, but Im interest in opening a business by myself or finding other partners to start up a business together.

Answer : Depends on how much profit we can get, the profit is used to pay the workers and sharing the profit with other partners, we will also use some of the profit to do some promotion and plan it on marketing plans
