This book is for Year 6 and up because it has some scientific words and concepts. The story began in London when Peters dad had to go to work in a different country for a while, so he assigned Peters Au Pair to find a place for him to live while both of his parents were busy since his mother also had to go to America to film a movie. Their family was pretty well off. Peter was really upset with the decision because he barely get spend time with his parents and today was his birthday. So Peters Au Pair (who acted as a mother to him) found a family that welcomed him sincerely. So the next day was the day that he met the Dryer family, including their dog called Molly. When everything settled down, Mr Dryer decided to bring the children to go see his newest invention, called the Antigravity Machine. Somehow when they were chasing after Molly, after a nervous breakdown, they ended up in the 18th Century, bringing the Antigravity Machine with them. A viscous man called the Tar Man saw the kids appearing in thin air and was fascinated. He then stole the machine, leaving them trapped in the past. They were lucky enough to find a kind man, in his early 20s called Gideon Seymour. After talking for a while and explaining the situation, they became good friends and both earned each others trust. Gideon helped them by making a cover story for them about getting robbed by a highway man and separated from their uncle in London. He told that to Mrs Byng who kindly and let them stay at her home (which in present times was school) and would go along to London with the party including the Parson which Mrs Byng cousin, Sidney (one of Mrs Byng son), Hannah the nursemaid and little Jack (one of Mrs Byng son) who already needed to be cured by the Kings Touch. Gideon was not trusted by the Parson by what he did in the pass so he had to ride alone. Both of the children could also blur, which is going back to the future, in their time but it is uncontrolled. Sometimes people would catch the evidence of these children before they disappear again. Along the way to London met a highway man called Ned Porter which caused them delay in finding the Antigravity machine. After solving the problem they went to London and met King George the third and Queen Charlotte, they also met many famous people including Erasmus Darwin (Charles Darwins dad) and Samuel Johnson, the first man ever to write a dictionary. They stayed in Sir Richards who was also Mrs Byng cousin) mansion At last they found the Tar Man or who was actually also called Master Blueskin and decide to have a race. If Gideon wins the Antigravity machine is theirs, and if they lose its the Tar Mans to keep. Eventually, Gideon won and went to retrieve the Antigravity machine when it was nowhere to be found. Gideon was blamed to steal it by Lord Luxon who was the host of this race and also Gideons last employer before he came to Mrs Byng. Gideon was sent to prison and later, to be hanged. At last when it felt like no more hope, Mr Dryer appeared with Molly, causing both of the childrens worlds to light up. They exchange their stories , including Mr Dryer and how he found them in the 18th century by looking at the clues in

which they both had left when they blurred. The stories that they traded were fascinated by both of them and the theories that Mr Dryer assumed of. On that day that Kate met her father and Molly, Sir Richard had sended a message to the king in help of Gideons situation. They waited for days and days for the kings messenger to come until the hanging day. They decided to find a good solution for this situation instead. There were first to wait until Gideon finished his last words then Sidney would be making a commotion with the drums then Kate and Peter would blur so it looked like flying with angel costumes, singing about forgiveness to Gideon and that he was innocent. The plan worked really well and everyone was confused. The next day Mr Dryer decided that it was time for Kate, Peter and himself to leave so they did their last goodbyes and just right before they were going to start the machine, the Tar Man came to sight and pushed Peter out so he could be replace. Gideon and the Tar Man fought for some time , but as Mr Dryer, Kate and Peter were about to leave, the Tar Man injured Gideon badly and leapt into the Antigravity machine. Going with them. Everything happened in a flash, somehow the person who went back to the 21st century wasnt Peter, but was the Tar Man.
