Our Parish will support Christianity with the Good Friday Holy Land collection. As a pontifical collection requested by Pope Benedict XVI, the annual collection offers a link for us to be witnesses of peace and to help protect the Holy Places, and to unite with Christians around the world. The Easter Sunday collection goes to the Catholic Education Foundation. This separately incorporated and independent organization supports lifelong formation in the Archdiocese of Louisville by providing families with much needed tuition assistance for Catholic schools and by distributing grants for faith formation and profession development. The Easter Collection makes possible many programs and services that truly make a difference in the teaching ministry of the Church. Our parish has directly benefited from CEF grants, so we ask for your support.
