EXECUTIVE SUMMARY INTRODUCTION


ALL RICE CORP. is a business that will obviously offer different rice recipes to suit our cravings in searching for a twist on your regular rice. We wanted to catch the attention of the customer and soon be their first choice. The company plans to build a strong market position in the town, due to the corporation of food industry experience. ALL RICE aims to offer its products at a competitive price to meet the demand of middleto-higher-income local market area residents and tourists. It is equally owned and managed by its three capitalist that engaged at this business. Location plays an important role to every business. Without the location, there will be no available area for production system. It does add an x factor to the business market status. By choosing the right location, we will be able to attain our target sales. The ALL RICE will be located at Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati Avenue corner Paseo de Roxas, The proponents chose the location for certain reasons. The location is near at business establishment. The employees will not get hassle in traveling from their home to the location.

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE INDUSTRY


Rice is primarily known as a crop grown in the lowland regions of an area. But this is not true in the case of the Philippines. Rice was developed in the higher areas of the Philippines. The rice is grown on sculpted fields that are known as terraces. Filipinos eat rice at every meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Having rice at the table is just as important to Filipinos as it is for Americans to have bread at the table. Rice is a staple for the people of the Philippines. In the Philippines, rice cultivation started thousands of years ago. In fact, the rice terraces in Banaue which were built some 3, 000 years ago, were constructed by the people specifically for the cultivation of rice. Of course, the rice that we know today may not be the same rice that was known to the early people of the world. But just the same, then as it is now, rice played an important role in human history. There is no indication that rice will be less important in the lives and culture of people who depend on them in the future. Due to its demand, the two investors come up with the idea of putting up a business that will allow everyone to explore recipes wherein the main ingredient is rice.

NATURE OF THE INDUSTRY


Food is a basic necessity. The industry which deals with preparing food items/products refers to the food service industry. The food service industry is and will always remain in high demand because of its genre. These industries include restaurants, fast foods, school and hospital cafeterias, catering operations, food carts and food trucks etc. Restaurants and fast foods mainly contribute to the food service industry.

NAME OF THE FIRM


A comic thought to use the famous line of a court judge ALL RISE and turn it into something unique, ALL RICE. In our own apprehension, ALL RICE means as literal as it is, our store offers different rice recipes with a twist.

LOCATION OF THE BUSINESS


Our ALL RICE opens its first branch at the Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati Avenue corner Paseo de Roxas. Our shop is near at the Glorietta Mall and some business enterprise. We will be renting the place shop of our business with a 60 square meters allocated floor measure.

TYPE OF BUSINESS ORGANIZATION


The proponents decided to select a Partnership. A partnership is a

nominate contract between individuals who, in a spirit of cooperation, agree to carry on an enterprise; contribute to it by combining property, knowledge or activities; and share its profit.

BUSINESS OBJECTIVE
After 2 years of operation, ALL RICE will double the enterprise and produce other branches. The establishment will target increase in capital within 2 years and the next. To reduce the number of customer complaints by 40% over the next years. We also establish to maintain the product satisfaction and increase the storage capacity of product. We also want to maintain our reasonable and friendly price and lastly to increase our combination for the people cravings.

MISSION
To give standard service accompanied with the products that we will be selling in the market.

VISION
We primarily had known for our offered services that mainly gives customer satisfaction. Many business bumps along the way, but we didnt lose our hope to create another enterprise that will patronized by our target market.

INVESTMENT COST
The financial needs of the project shall be sourced from the corporation equity. The partners shall contribute an initial amount of Php 2,000,000.00 in cash which is totaled Php 4,000,000.00. The said amount is estimated to be used in all expenses to be incurred during the pre-opening period and during the normal operation.

To start up the business we need to spend not over Php 2,000,000.00 for pre operating to complete the other necessary matters to make this business possible.

MODE OF FINANCING
A small business is like a plant it needs to be nurtured in order to flourish. Just as a plant needs to be watered and nurtured well enough to facilitate its growth process, a small business needs to have an adequate financial back up for it to grow and become a larger concern in the coming years. Proper financial is essential for a business to prosper our venture will share an investment of Php 2,000,000.00 each partner to provide the bulk of the current financing required. The total partnership investment is Php4 000,000.00 to corner up the operating and administrative expense.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATION

INVESTORS/OWNER: They are the backbone of the restaurant. They must ensure that the food is served in a welcoming environment, and make sure that the restaurant gets noticed, both through advertising and reviews. A restaurant owner may delegate any number of tasks to staff, but ultimately, it is his name behind the establishment. Can contribute the essential investment need to operate the business and knowledgeable in handling this type of business. GENERAL MANAGER: General Manager is responsible for all areas such as managing the day-today operations of the restaurant, managing other employees and interacting with customers and keeping inventory of stock, among many tasks. Determine if funds are available for expenditure or requisition and post to proper account. Monitor fund and account balances and notifies appropriate personnel when limits are reached. Verify accuracy and completeness and make necessary adjustment. At least 4-year College graduate of any Management course. between 24-35 years of age

With at least 3 years working experience and hardworking and responsible with excellent leadership qualities.

KITCHEN SUPERVISOR: A kitchen manager is responsible for supervising the kitchen staff and make sure the kitchen area meets health and safety requirements, as mandated by law. at least 2-year College graduate of any Culinary or HRM course between 24-34 years of age with at least 2 years working experience in service industry willing to work in Makati

HUMAN RESOURCE DEPARTMENT MANAGER: Human resource Manager is someone who recruits interviews and assists a companys employees. Make recommendations to other supervisor as to whether an individual should be hired and promoted. Graduate of Bachelor of Science and psychology Between 24-35 years of age. /Female with at least 1 years working experience Can work in maximum time.

DINING SUPERVISOR: Oversee service in the dining room and monitor the dining crews if they serve well accurately. At least 2-year College graduate of HRM course Between 24-35 years of age, Female/Male With at least 2-years working experience in service industry Hardworking and can work at minimum supervision

CASHIER: A cashier is someone who receives money from the customer in the form of cash or electronic money, for goods purchased.

DINING CREW / KITCHEN CREW Include taking orders and serving food and drinks while obliging to fulfill every need of customer in a very friendly and polite manner. Dish washers are responsible for making sure dishes, pots and pans are cleaned. Male at least 56 in height, Female at least 52 in height 18-25 years of age College level / good communication skills With pleasing personality Can work exceeding time and any shift / with or without experience.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

1. EMPLOYMENT Wear proper uniform. Proper hygiene. Always listen to the customers complaints and suggestions. Maintain professionalism. Four (4) double punching in one cut off equivalent to 3 days suspension. 5- days suspension Absent without prior notice to the management

2. PROCUREMENT POLICIES Check if the items are in good condition. On-time delivery Check the details (quantity and amount) stated in the receipts. The workers must determine the life span/shelf life of the products.

Know if the supplier is licensed of distributing goods.

3. ACCOUNTING POLICIES a. CASHIER Determine if the money is not valid or fake. The money bills must be arranged and separated accordingly. In giving Senior Citizen Discounts, the counter must request for the customers identification card. After the cashiers duty, she must surrender the sales(cash) that she had. In case of shortage of cash, its the cashiers liability to provide the loss. It can be deducted to their salary or paid immediately. If its overage, the excess must be surrendered to the manager.

4. MARKETING POLICIES Advertising paraphernalia must be detailed. The inventory must be recorded and updated daily and monthly.

CHAPTER III MARKETING ASPECT DEMAND

Customer is the blood of the company. We rely on their need to make profit. Rice is a staple food of Filipinos. Were all fan of it. We prefer rice on breakfast, lunch, dinner or even snacks. So, we can be sure that our business will penetrate in the food industry. We all know that Makati is a prime business district in the Philippines and is a home of several large Corporations. Most of our customer will come from corporate group

like call center agents, office workers and businessman. But its not like that we limit our products to elites we also prospect the middle class. Demand is simply how much of the product the public wants to buy. If there is more demand than the manufacturer can keep up with, often the value increases. But there are several factors that create changes in production to increase or decrease supply. It is the demand that gives the proponent the reason of establishes and put up this kind of business.

SUPPLY
Our business ALL RICE will come out with the different kinds of desserts with easy to find the main ingredients. And with the variety of bread different kinds of ice cream we will create products with the customers want to be. Our main ingredients is easy to find and well known in the market. The supply is the amount of the product that is available for purchase. Supply is an amount of something available for use. Generally the less available a product is, the more the consumer will have to pay to get it.

SUPPLY AND DEMAND ANALYSIS

Supply and Demand is an economic model of price determination in a market. It concludes that in a competitive market, the unit price for a particular good will vary until it settles at a point where the quantity demanded by consumers (at current price) will equal the quantity supplied by producers (at current price), resulting in an economic equilibrium of price and quantity.

If demand increase and supply remains unchanged, then it leads to higher equilibrium price and quantity.

If demand decreases and supply remains unchanged, then it leads to lower equilibrium price and quantity. If supply increase and demand remains unchanged, then it leads to lower equilibrium price and higher quantity. If supply decreases and demand remains unchanged, then it leads to higher equilibrium price and lower quantity.

PRICE STUDY
Most of us look first in the tag price or ask the price of the product displayed in the selling rack in malls before actually buying the product. Thats our initial reaction when it comes to buying, so with eating in fast food chain or restaurant. Were so price conscious. Food environment may have a significant impact on the availability and price of healthier food. We study the cost and availability of a standard price in the market. 0% stressed policies should take the price of food into account in order to develop successful strategies to encourage the consumption of a customer satisfaction.

GENERAL MARKETING PROGRAM

Knowing that our technology has improved nowadays, our company believes that taking advantage of it will put our business in the front of line. In addition, we will also have our own website for easy access of our product. We are planning to have free taste in our first week of opening. Along with that, we wanted to have at least two (2) ad spinners that will not only entertain but also will catch the attention of our walk in costumer. Continuously, we will give flyers to acknowledge everyone about ALL RICE In the first week of the store opening, we will be distributing discount coupons. We will also

give special discounts to senior citizens. And also by printing in magazine and broadcast, we will give coupons and free samples, making speeches at conference, professional association meetings and other events position you and your company as a leader in your field. Attending conference is also an opportunity to make contacts that lead sales.

FACILITIES

The ALL RICE store is located at the heart of a busting metropolitan in the Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati avenue cor. Paseo de Roxas, Makati City. The store is 100 square meters totals which are divided into 5 areas. The Office measures 10 square meters. This is where the store operation is overseen by the manager. It is also serve as an Office of the Accounting manager and the HRD manager since this is where the entire stores financial and personnel records are kept. The stores storage room is conveniently located within the Kitchen Area which is measures up to total of 30 square meters. The storage room houses the stores consumable supplies. The Kitchen where all deserts are

prepared upon being ordered by the customer and is also the place where it is checked by the Production Controller to see if it meets the quality standards. The kitchen is kept clean maintained by the Maintenance and Utilities crew of the store. The Comfort Room measures 10 square meters. The comfort room is where the customer can relieve themselves and wash up before and after their meals. This area of the store is maintained and resupplied periodically by the maintenance crew of the store. The two remaining parts of the store are the Dining Area and Counter Area which measures 50 square meters combined. Along with the comfort room the dining area and the counter area are the only parts of the store where customers are allowed access. Thus concludes the tour of our stores facilities.

Basically, ALL RICE store will open at: 6:00 AM-12:00 AM from Monday to Friday, while Saturday and Sunday it will open at 9:00 AM up to 2:00 AM. Other consideration of the business includes the maintenance of its quantity service to the customers. Electricity is on the major expenses to be considered. All the business in the industry is in need of electricity so everything is well- repaired to attain the customers demand estimated of Php 20,000 monthly. Water Supply as daily consumption use to maintain the cleanliness of the area and utensils. As consume of, monthly cost of Php 10,000.

This is the combined costs of supplies and labor incurred in the preoperating days of ALL RICE.

WASTE DISPOSAL

ALL RICE is a food industry and varies widely in terms of scale and process. We maintain a clean surrounding inside and outside to our shop to make sure the protection of our customer in terms of pollution thats why the management implement for the cleanliness to the shop make sure that the garbage or waste is dispose at the back of the store in dedicated containers and generally waste are separated. From over production, spoil product, and substandard product.
