LE QUALIT GRADES

Il metallo duro nasce da polveri di metalli diversi miscelate tra di loro in quantit e combinazioni differenti. Proprio questa operazione tra le pi importanti e delicate di tutto il ciclo di preparazione dei pezzi, perch dalle diverse percentuali delle sostanze impiegate dipende la caratteristica del pezzo finito. Nel suo laboratorio, appositamente attrezzato, Wolframcarb studia e mette a punto nuove mescole, preparate su specifica richiesta del cliente o studiate direttamente dal proprio staff interno. La miscelazione delle polveri avviene in speciali reparti che lavorano a diretto contatto dei chimici di laboratorio; la dosatura delle diverse sostanze, messa a punto e testata direttamente nei laboratori annessi, loperazione che determina la qualit finale del pezzo sinterizzato. Le qualit di metallo duro si differenziano tra di loro per le diverse combinazioni di sostanze che lo compongono, per le diverse percentuali delle sostanze stesse e per i trattamenti finali. Esistono qualit tradizionali, qualit rivestite, qualit speciali, qualit universali, diverse per propriet fisiche di durezza, densit, resistenza alla rottura trasversale, ecc., adatte ad ogni tipo di operazione ed uso.

Hard metal originates from powders of different metals mixed together, in different quantities and compounds. This operation is undoubtedly one of the most important and delicate in the whole preparation cycle of the pieces because the nature of the finished product depends on the various percentages of the substances employed. In its well equipped lab, Wolframcarb studies and produces new mixtures which are either prepared according to customer specifications in cooperation with him, or developed by its own staff. Powder mixing is carried out in special departments which work in close co-operation with the lab chemists; the batching of the various substances, prepared and tested in the adjoining labs, is the decisive operation for the final nature of the sintered part. Tungsten carbide grades differ not only due to the variuos compounds of which they consist, but also due to different compounds percentages and final treatments. Nowadays, the market offers traditional, coated, special and universal qualities, which differ from their physical properties of hardness, density, T.R.S., etc..., suitable for every type of operation and application.
