Hagrid takes Harry to Diagon Alley to buy school supplies. Harry needs books, a wand and an owl. Harry has a lot of money deposited at Gringotts Wizarding Bank, which is a bank for magical people. Guided by Hagrid, he buys the books and equipment he needs for Hogwarts. At the 5 _______ (ndwa) shop, he finds a very special wand he likes that contains a feather from a phoenix. A month later Harry leaves the Dursleys' home to catch the Hogwarts Express from King's Cross railway 6 __________ (ttonisa). There he meets the Weasley family, who show him how to pass through the magical wall to Platform 9 (nine and three quarters) where the train is waiting. While on the train, Harry makes friends with Ron Weasley. Draco Malfoy, a very nasty boy, wants to be friends with Harry, but Harry doesn't like Draco. The students arrive at Hogwarts. Before dinner, the 7 ____________ (glaaicm) Sorting Hat puts them into different houses. Harry and his new friends go to Gryffindor House. During the new pupils' first broom-flying lesson, Neville Longbottom breaks his wrist. Professor McGonagall discovers Harry can fly very well and Harry becomes the new seeker for the Gryffindor quidditch team. One day, Hermione is hiding in the toilets when a 8 ________ (llort) appears at Hogwarts. Harry and Ron knock out the troll and become friends with Hermione. During Harry's first quidditch game, his broomstick goes out of control but in the end he catches the 9 ___________ ____________ (dnelgo tcishn), winning the game for Gryffindor. Harry and the Weasleys stay at Hogwarts for Christmas, and one of Harry's 10 _______ (rntspees) is an Invisibility Cloak. Harry uses the Cloak to search the library's Restricted Section for information. He enters a room containing the Mirror of Erised, where he can see his parents. Later, Harry learns that Nicholas Flamel is the only person who possesses the Philosopher's Stone. Now the children must find it! Harry thinks that Professor Snape wants the Philosopher's Stone. The three friends go to the chamber guarded by the threeheaded dog. In the final room they find Professor Quirrell. He is a very 11 ______________ (sudanroeg) man! In the end, the Philosopher's Stone is destroyed. Harry returns to the Dursleys for the summer holiday, but does not tell them that under-age wizards are forbidden to use magic outside Hogwarts

Her parents are not magical people. They are muggles! Hermione knows a lot of spells. Neville Longbottom is also a student at Hogwarts. He is very clumsy and he usually forgets a lot of things. He lives with his grandmother because Voldemort attacked his parents. Neville is very shy and generous, and his favorite class is Herbology where he can learn about plants. Draco Malfoy is a very nasty wizard. He is also a student at Hogwarts. He comes from a very rich magical family and he hates muggles. He is very arrogant and snotty. He hates Harry. Professor Dumbledore is the headmaster at Hogwarts. He is very old and knows a lot of things about magic. He really likes Harry and treats him very well. He must protect Harry from Voldemort! Professor Snape is a teacher at Hogwarts. He teaches potions and he knows a lot of things about the dark arts. He is unfriendly and he doesn't like Harry. He is a very mysterious man Professor McGonagall is Deputy Headmistress, head of Gryffindor House and Transfiguration professor at Hogwarts. She is very tall serious woman. She wears emerald green robes and a pointed hat. She is an excellent witch! She is also an animagus and can transform herself into a cat! Voldemort is an evil wizard who killed Harry's parents (James and Lily Potter) when Harry was a baby. He absolutely hates muggles. He is Harry's Number One Enemy!
