Requirements Hardware
The minimum requirements of the WinCC Version stated below are valid. Please note: The faster the CPU of the PC, the faster many images can be edited!

Software
Windows XP SP2 Windows 2003 SP1 & R2 WinCC V6.2

Important hints:
Back up your WinCC project or the WinCC images before using the Trigger Tool for the first time. The images are being saved while editing and you cannot undo this procedure. The WinCC project must be opened in the WinCC Explorer. If there are already images during installation, select unchange so that you can still use your new version.

Overview of the basic functions

General functions: It is either possible to search in all WinCC images or in the image that is currently open in the Graphics Designer. A logfile can be created with every change to document the changes.

Function 1: Search Tag & Change Trigger cycle

A tag used as trigger can be searched in all WinCC images or in the actively open WinCC image. If this tag is found as tag trigger, the cycle can be changed.

Function 2: Search Tag list & Change Trigger cycle

A tag used as tag list can be searched in all WinCC images or in the actively open WinCC image. The cycle can be changed if one of the tags in the list is found as tag trigger. There has to be a *txt. file of the tag list. The tag names are listed one below the other in this text file.

Funktion 3: Search Trigger cycle und replace Trigger cycle

It is possible to search a trigger cycle in all WinCC images or in the actively open WinCC image. The cycle can be changed if the trigger cycle is found.

Function 4: Search Tag list with a certain Trigger cycle and replace Trigger cycle
It is possible to search a trigger cycle and a taglist in all WinCC images or in the actively open WinCC image. The cycle can be changed if the trigger cycle is found in connection with a tag in the tag list.

Function 5: Search all triggers and create Logfile

It is possible to search triggers in all WinCC images or in the actively open WinCC image. They are documented in a logfile by stating the image, the object, the property and the dynamization.

Press InsertTag and select the tag. Select the target trigger in the selection dialog box. Select if all images or the one that is currently open need to be searched. Select if a logfile needs to be created. Change Trigger to start the process!
