show the entry list TD 200 Wizard in STEP 7 Micro/WIN 3.2 + SP4 Display part number QUESTION: Why aren't all the messages displayed on the TD 200 after I have edited an old project with the TD200 wizard in V3.2 +SP4? ANSWER: In up to and including STEP 7 Micro/WIN V3.2 + SP3 the address of the initial byte of the message enable bit in the TD 200 wizard was at Byte 12. With the upgrade to V 3.2+SP 4 the address area of the message enable bit begins at Byte 14. This is also sufficient for most fonts. If however you use the "Original TD 200" or "Bar Display" character set, then the starting address of the message enable bit continues to be at Byte 12. You can clear this behavior as follows: for projects which use these two character sets we recommend that after calling the TD-200 wizard in STEP 7 Micro/WIN 3.2 + SP4 you change the starting address of the message enable bit. 1. You can change the starting address directly in the data block. The start address of the message release bit in our example is set to "14" in VW8.

Fig. 1: Starting address of the message enable bit at Byte 14 in the DB ( 7 KB ) Change this value to "12". Then all messages will again be displayed as of Byte 12. You have to repeat this procedure each time you edit an old project with the TD-200 wizard in V3.2 + SP 4.

Fig. 2: Changing the address of the message enable bit in the DB ( 7 KB ) Note: The original address of the message enable bit in the old project does not change however. 2. Another option is to change the addresses using the "Replace" function in the menu "Edit > Replace". There you can change the addresses accordingly.
