OBJECTIVE:
This is the first MIS course taught at graduate level to introduce to students the core concepts of information systems and provide an overview of evolution of information systems with time. The student learns the theory and business applications of MIS through a collection of case studies and assignments. The course further aims to provide the knowledge to solve practical MIS problems. The students should be able to understand and apply the tools and techniques for design and analysis of information systems. The only prerequisite to this course is computers in management.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY Lectures would be primary mode of delivery supplemented by case studies presentations and assignments.
