A hard beginning makes a good ending. We all have obstacles to overcome.

Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm. All glory comes from daring to begin. I dwell in possibility Genius is patience. Time is man's angel. Do what you can with what you have with where you are. Time flies. Time gallops. Time speeds. Time runs. No news is good news. It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop. Where is it now, the glory and the dream? What we learn to do we learn by doing. Each step is a glorious moment to be treasured forever. It's funny how we feel so much but we cannot say a word. A thing of beauty is a joy forever. To dream the impossible dream. To one who waits, a moment seems a year. Success & failure aren't fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it. If you want truly to understand something, try to change it. What happens is not as important as how you react to what happens. If there is something to gain and nothing to lose by asking, ask! Love is the triumph of imagination over intelligence. Life at any time can become difficult: life at any time can become easy. The measure of a man is the way he bears up under misfortune. If we do what is necessary, all the odds are in our favor. I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand. We can't change the cards we're dealt, just how we play the hand. Sadness is a wall between two gardens. A cheerful friend is like a sunny day. Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart. Vitality shows not only the ability to persist, but the ability to start over. The amount of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it. We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give. Every moment is golden for him who has the vision to see it as such. Every human heart is human. There are defeats more triumphant than victories. People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing. Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new. Life is a great big canvas. Throw all the paint you can on it. Well done is better than well said. There is no beauty but the beauty of action. Real glory springs from the silent conquest of ourselves. Your thoughts are the architects of your destiny. Fiction reveals truths that reality obscures. To want to forget something is to think of it. Live your life with ease; do what you ought, not what you please. There is nothing as remarkable as learning how to think better. The soul is covered with the color of its leisure thoughts. Let him that would move the world first move himself. The mind is a lousy master but a wonderful servant. It is easier to suppress the first desire than to satisfy all that follow. We must not say every mistake is a foolish one. Happiness itself does not stay. Only moments of happiness do. Speak when angry and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret. Happiness is a state of activity. Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have. It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy. Beauty is not so much what you see as what you dream. Adventure is worthwhile. Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding. Friendship doubles joy and halves grief. Small opportunities are often the beginning of great enterprises. It's not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are. Luck is when opportunity knocks, and you answer. If you really want to be happy, always try to do whats right. A smile is a light in the soul indicating that the heart is at home. To thine own self be true. I don't know the key to success but to fail is to try to please everyone. Minds are like parachutes; they work best when open. Eye contact is the best accessory. Always & never are two words you should always remember never to use. The only normal people are the ones you don't know very well. Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers. Not all those who wander are lost. Hope is a waking dream. Everything has been figured out, except how to live. People know the price of everything & the value of nothing. We live in an age when unnecessary things are our necessities. Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes. Love comforteth life like sunshine after rain. To live is so startling it leaves time for little else. A good name will shine forever. The only limits are, as always, those of vision. I have learned that to be with those I like is enough. The only way to love anything is to realize that it may be lost. Dreams are today's answers to tomorrow's questions. Forget injuries; never forget kindness. A friend is one know knows and loves you just the same. To the world you may be just one, but to one you may be the world. It is not length of life, but depth of life. A ruffled mind makes a restless pillow. Life is so constructed, that the event does not, cannot, will not, match the expectation. Men judge us by the success of our efforts. God looks at the efforts themselves. Who has words at the right moment? Happiness does not lie in happiness, but in the achievement of it.
