--------------1. Introduction --------------Splinter Cell Conviction is finally here. While it may be a completely different formula from the other games, and it's fast paced with a very short campaign, it still offers an intense and satisfying stealth/action experience. Since there are very few FAQ's for it I've decided to post a few of my own. I hope you find them helpful and feel free to email me with any questions you may have about the game or the walkthrough. My email is at the bottom under Legal Info/Contact Info/Source in section 9. If you want to keep track of your Conviction stats go to www.splintercell.com and join splinter cell match. ------------------------------------2. FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) ------------------------------------Q: My game keeps freezing after I move past the first weapon stash in the single player campaign. Is anyone else having this issue? A: Yes many people are. Usually you just have to disconnect from Xbox live and try again. Otherwise try shooting the surrounding area multiple times with a pistol, then slowly moving up and past the hallway. Q: Do I need to unlock the 3E shadow armor and the VR Zvezda in order to get the Ready for Anything achievement?

A: No, you only need to purchase all upgrades for each of the uniforms that are available stock. You do have to spend points to purchase most of them however. The same principle applies with the Weapons Collector, and Weapons Expert achievements. Only the weapons unlocked through game play need apply, and not the weapons that are unlocked via promotion codes or Uplay. Q: What is Uplay and how can I sign up for it? A: Uplay is an internal reward website created by Ubi Soft that is accessible through the in game menus of specific UbiSoft titles, Conviction being one of them. When you access Uplay through the main menu you'll be prompted to create an account if you don't already have one. Usually they'll use you're Xbox live gamertag as a default username, and you come up with your own password. Once you're in you can edit your profile and check up on in game challenges that Uplay will reward you with points. Currently there are 4 rewards to earn which is game play content and a Conviction theme for your Xbox. Check the action section under the game you're playing to learn what tasks you can perform to earn points, and what rewards you can redeem those points for. Q: What is the best pistol in the game? A: This depends on personal taste but I would have to say the Five-Seven because it's the only weapon in the game currently that allows up to 4 marks once it's been upgraded with a reflex sight. Q: What is the best rifle in the game? A: Again it depends on personal opinion, but the straight answer is probably the AK-47 as it has the best scope and range in the game while retaining high power and accuracy. Not to mention it has the highest capacity magazine in the game once it's upgraded with it. If you want to be more silent however I'd say the MP5-SD3 is the optimal choice. Q: I'm not able to save or continue my game in the single player campaign... what's the deal? A: You're either not signed in to a gamertag or you're not using scene select in the main menu to continue. Conviction runs on checkpoints but each level becomes unlocked after you complete it. More FAQ's pending for the future. Anyone with a FAQ they want to submit can do so by emailing me at Iceman22n86@yahoo.com

----------------------------------3. Controls and Game Play functions ----------------------------------The controls in Conviction differ greatly from it's predecessors, but are very seamless and tactical friendly once you get used to them which won't take long. Here is a layout of the control scheme along with some new game play features that are exclusive to Conviction. Right trigger - Fire gun Left trigger - Press up against cover structures (hold), perform "Death from Above" Left trigger (when not near cover) - combat roll Right shoulder - Mark enemy

Left shoulder - Toggle between crouch and stand Left shoulder (while running) - slide then crouch Control Stick left - Move character Control Stick left (click in) - reload gun Control Stick right - Aim gun Control Stick right (click in) - zoom in with gun D-Pad up - Activate sonar goggles D-Pad down - switch weapon D-Pad down(hold) - holster or unholster weapon D-Pad left/right - switch gadgets X - use gadget A - context sensitive action (open doors, jump over structures etc.) Y - Perform execution B - Perform hand to hand kill and other context sensitive functions Back button - view mission objective Start button - Pause menu Mark and Execute ---------------The newest feature for Splinter Cell is also the biggest game play element. Start by killing an enemy with a hand to hand takedown (taking a human shield, performing death from above, pulling an enemy off of a ledge or bashing a door open to knock them out all count) and you'll earn an "Execution". From there you simply mark the amount of enemies that you want to shoot (up to 4 with the right gun) and press Y to send your character into a cinematic slow mo spree, killing each enemy you marked one right after another in a devastating sequence. Marked enemies are noted by the white arrow above them after you press the right shoulder button when you have the crosshair fixed on them. When enemies are in range of your execution the arrows will turn red. Last Known Position ------------------When you are detected and you vanish right after, a white outline of your last known position by your enemies will automatically appear. The A.I. will usually shoot and nade the crap out of that spot giving you an opportunity to flank them by circling around or however you choose. Cover to Cover -------------When you're pressed up against the edge of a cover spot, press A when you see a white arrow indicating the next one to quickly move to it. You have to have the next cover spot in range, but sometimes you can pull it off when you don't see the arrow. Shadow System ------------When the screen turns black and white you'll be hidden in shadow and completely invisible to enemies. Important items and other characters will still be in color. Interrogations -------------Interrogations have been amped way up in Conviction, allowing you to pick and choose which objects in the surrounding area you want to beat your victim against to pump information out of them.

P.E.C. Challenges ----------------In order to upgrade your guns and gadgets you'll need to earn points by completing specific tasks that compliment the variety of game play. See section 6 for the full list of challenges along with strategies on how to complete them. Checkpoints ----------Conviction runs on checkpoints as opposed to the last two games which let you save where ever you wanted. Objective Arrow --------------If you get lost or don't know where to go just follow the arrow with the number on it which indicates how far you are from your next objective in terms of meters. Traps ----Conviction's levels are loaded with traps and explosive devices that you can set off to take out multiple enemies. You can also mark and execute traps in collaboration with other targets. Alert Beacon -----------Instead of the enemies having a different level of awareness based on the degree of shadow you're in, Conviction works on a beacon system. When an enemy sees you you'll see a white becon with a warning symbol and an arrow pinpointing the direction of the enemy that may become alert of your presence. The becon will shrink and turn red when you are completely spotted.

---------------------------------------4. Weapons/Gadgets/Deniable Ops Uniforms ---------------------------------------Throughout the single player campaign and the co-op modes you'll unlock a variety of different guns and splinter cell gadgets usually each time you complete a level. The SR-2M is unlocked after completing St. Petersburg on the Co-op story, and the AK-47 is unlocked after completing the Russian Embassy. Every other gun is unlocked through the single player campaign, and you have to beat the specific level in order to unlock the gun. Here's a list of all the currently available guns and gadgets and their attributes/upgrades. Note: Every week a new item will be available to download for free through the exclusive content menu. Each time something new is added I will update this section and provide the date and method in which it is retrieved, assuming some of them will require codes. ======= Pistols ======= MK.23 (available stock)

----This is the starting pistol for Sam in the single player campaign. Moderately low range and accuracy but moderately high power. Has a suppressor by default and gives you up to 2 marks for executions. Upgrades include extended mag for higher bullet capacity, laser sighting for increased accuracy, and hollow point bullets for more damage. Upgrades :::::::: Extended Mag - 300 pts. Laser Sight - 250 pts. Hollow Point Ammo - 250 pts. MP-446 (available stock) -----Not as powerful as the MK.23 but has slightly better range and accuracy, along with up to 3 marks. Also has a suppressor. Upgrades include a reflex sight to increase the marks from 2 to 3, a laser sight for better accuracy, and match grade bullets for better range. Upgrades :::::::: Reflex Sight - 400 pts. Laser Sight - 250 pts. Match Grade Ammo - 250 pts. Desert Eagle (unlocked after completing Merchant's St. Market) -----------Offers a considerable amount of range and power over the MK and MP, but the accuracy is about the same. No suppressor means your shots will be heard a mile away and alert nearby enemies of your possible presence. Upgrades include a laser sight for better accuracy, a reflex sight to bring the number of marks from 2 to 3, and match grade ammo for increased range. Upgrades :::::::: Laser Sight - 250 pts. Reflex Sight - 400 pts. Match Grade Ammo - 250 pts. P228 (unlocked after completing Price Airfield) ---Offers balance between power, range, and accuracy but all 3 are moderately low along with a lack of a suppressor. Upgrades include a laser sight for accuracy, extended mag for higher bullet capacity, and match grade ammo for better range. Comes with 3 marks stock. Upgrades :::::::: Laser Sight - 250 pts. Extended Mag - 300 pts. Match Grade Ammo - 250 pts. Five-Seven (unlocked after completing Washington Monument)

---------Arguably the best pistol in the game, as it is the only weapon which allows you to have 4 marks for an execution once it's been upgraded with a reflex sight. Other upgrades include a laser sight for accuracy, and match grade ammo for better range. Offers fairly low power but a moderate amount of range and accuracy once it's fully upgraded. Suppressor included. Upgrades :::::::: Laser Sight - 250 pts. Reflex Sight - 400 pts. Match Grade Ammo - 250 pts. USP.45 (unlocked after completing Lincoln Memorial) -----Offers slightly less power than the Desert Eagle with about the same amount of accuracy but considerably less range. Upgrades include a laser sight for accuracy, reflex sight to bring the number of marks from 2 to 3, and hollow point ammo for more damage. No suppressor. Upgrades :::::::: Laser Sight - 250 pts. Reflex Sight - 400 pts. Hollow Point Ammo - 250 pts. =============== Machine Pistols =============== It should be noted that any of the one handed machine pistols can be used while you're hanging from a ledge. Skorpion (unlocked during Kobin's Mansion) -------The Skorpion is moderate in the categories of power, range, and accuracy once it's fully upgraded, but has one of the best rates of fire out of all the guns in the game. The downside is that you only get 20 shots per magazine. Upgrades include a gun stock for accuracy, a reflex sight to bring the number of marks from 2 to 3, and hollow point ammo for more damage. No suppressor. Upgrades :::::::: Gun Stock - 500 pts. Reflex Sight - 400 pts. Hollow Point Ammo - 250 pts. SR-2M (unlocked after completing St. Petersburg Banya on Co-op story mode) ----The Splinter Cell equivalent to a one handed SMG, the SR-2M offers moderately high accuracy but moderately low power and even lower range. It has a very good rate of fire and is ideal for close quarter combat situations. It also offers 30 shots per magazine over the 20 that the Skorpion sports. Upgrades include a gun stock for accuracy, a reflex sight to bring the number of marks from 2 to 3, and a laser sight for even more accuracy. No suppressor. Upgrades

:::::::: Gun Stock - 500 pts. Reflex Sight - 400 pts. Laser Sight - 250 pts. ================ Sub-Machine Guns ================ All guns in this category have a decent rate of fire and offer 30 bullet magazines. MP5-N (unlocked during Price Airfield) ----This gun offers moderate power and range, along with a staggering amount of accuracy. Upgrades include a laser sight for accuracy, a reflex sight to bring the number of marks from 2 to 3, and hollow point ammo for better damage. Upgrades :::::::: Laser Sight - 250 pts. Reflex Sight - 400 pts. Hollow Point Ammo - 250 pts. MP5-SD3 (unlocked after completing Diwaniya, Iraq) ------Currently requires a code to redeem through the exclusive content menu. Codes come with the collector's edition of Splinter Cell Conviction. Is available for anyone after completing the 4th mission of the single player campaign. The SD3 offers moderately high range with mediocre power, but the strength of the weapon is it's nearly perfect accuracy. Upgrades include a gun stock for accuracy, a 2x scope for increased range and magnification of your target, and hollow point ammo for better damage. This may be the best alternate weapon available if you plan on taking on the game in a stealthy fashion. Suppressor included, but only 2 marks. Upgrades :::::::: Gun Stock - 500 pts. 2X Scope - 300 pts. Hollow Point Ammo - 250 pts. AKS-74U (Unlocked after completing St. Petersburg Banya in Co-op story mode) ------Offering high accuracy and power along with moderately high range and good rate of fire, the AKS is ideal for almost every combat situation the game throws at you. The only down side is the lack of a suppressor. Upgrades include a reflex sight to bring the number of marks from 2 to 3, a laser sight for accuracy, and hollow point ammo for increased damage. Upgrades :::::::: Reflex Sight - 400 pts. Laser Sight - 250 pts. Hollow Point Ammo - 250 pts. UMP-45 (unlocked after completing Lincoln Memorial)

-----The UMP offers moderate power with low range and high accuracy. It has one of the best rates of fire in the game. Upgrades include a laser sight for accuracy, a suppressor for silenced shots, and hollow point ammo for increased damage. Comes equipped with 3 marks. Upgrades :::::::: Laser Sight - 250 pts. Suppressor - 650 pts. Hollow Point Ammo - 250 pts. ============== Assault Rifles ============== All assault rifles include a magazine capacity of 30 bullets with the exception of the AK-47 and come with a moderately high, to high rate of fire, range, and accuracy. AK-47 (unlocked after completing Russian Embassy in Co-op story mode) ----I can only imagine how many AK's have been fired off in real life and in video games alike. The AK offers good power and accuracy, along with an absurd amount of range. Upgrades include a 4x scope for range and magnification, an extended mag to give you 55 bullets per magazine, and match grade ammo for even further range. No suppressor, but this is one straight up killing machine. Only two marks though. Upgrades :::::::: 4x Scope - 300 pts. Extended Mag - 300 pts. Match Grade Ammo - 250 pts. M468 (unlocked after completing White Box Laboratories) ---Ideal for stealth or straight up combat, the M468 offers a lot of power accompanied by moderately high range, and good accuracy. Upgrades include a reflex sight to bring the number of marks from 2 to 3, a suppressor for silenced shots, and hollow point ammo for better damage. Upgrades :::::::: Reflex Sight - 400 pts. Suppressor - 650 pts. Hollow Point Ammo - 250 pts. G36C (unlocked after completing Michigan Ave. Reservoir) ---This is the gun with the best range in the AK-47. The G36C does have the best rate of close quarter extreme situations. Upgrades magnification, a laser sight for accuracy, increased range. No suppressor, and only 2 Upgrades game 2nd only to the fully upgraded fire however, making it ideal for include a 2x scope for range and and match grade ammo for further marks.

:::::::: 2X Scope - 300 pts. Laser Sight - 250 pts. Match Grade Ammo - 250 pts. SC3000 (unlocked during Third Echelon HQ) -----This gun is sort of the junior version of the G36C only with a slightly lower rate of fire, range and power. The upside is that you can upgrade it with a suppressor for silenced shots. Other upgrades include a gun stock for accuracy, and hollow point ammo for damage. Upgrades :::::::: Gun Stock - 500 pts. Suppressor - 650 pts. Hollow Point Ammo - 250 pts. ======== Shotguns ======== Both of the currently available shotguns have very high power, but moderately low range and accuracy. The main upside to the shotguns is that it will knock enemies down on the ground temporarily immobilizing them, sometimes without killing them. M-500 (unlocked during Kobin's Mansion) ----This gun is acquired very early in the single player campaign and packs a real punch in the power department. The downsides include a lack of a suppressor, and fairly poor range and accuracy. Upgrades include a reflex sight to bring the number of marks from 2 to 3, match grade ammo for better range, and a laser sight for accuracy. Upgrades :::::::: Reflex Sight - 400 pts. Match Grade Ammo - 250 pts. Laser Sight - 250 pts. SPAS-12 ------This gun is currently only available when you redeem a code in the exclusive content menu. To my knowledge only people who pre-ordered the game at Gamestop got these codes, but there may be other ways of getting them. The SPAS packs about the same amount of power that the M-500 has, but comes with a suppressor stock, and actually has a decent amount of range for a shotgun. Upgrades include a gunstock for accuracy, match grade ammo for range, and a 2x scope for magnification and even more range. You may be surprised at how handy this gun can be, especially since it has a scope and a suppressor. It also has 3 marks stock. Upgrades :::::::: Gun Stock - 500 pts. Match Grade Ammo - 250 pts.

2X Scope - 300 pts. ===== Uplay ===== Uplay is a beta website for Ubisoft gamers that can be accessed through the main menu of Conviction and other specific Ubisoft titles. There are currently a number of rewards that you can access when you create a Uplay account, and perform specific tasks in the game (a few are the same as the achievements). One of the rewards that you can download is the following gun: SCAR-H (20 Uplay points) -----The SCAR-H offers a great amount of range and accuracy along with a good amount of power and rate of fire. Upgrades include a 4x scope for range and magnification, a laser sight for accuracy, and match grade ammo for yet even more range. No option for a suppressor, and only has 2 marks. Upgrades :::::::: 4X Scope - 300 pts. Laser Sight - 250 pts. Match Grade Ammo - 250 pts. ========================= Uplay Actions and Rewards ========================= Other rewards through Uplay include: Splinter Cell Conviction Theme - (10 Uplay pts.) -----------------------------VR ZVEZDA Uniform - (30 Uplay pts.) ----------------Infiltration Mode - (40 Uplay pts.) (see section 7) ----------------The actions you can currently perform to earn Uplay points are as follows: Merchant Market - Complete Merchant's Street Market on any difficulty --------------- (10 pts. awarded) Weapon Upgrade - Completely upgrade any one weapon -------------- (20 pts.) Ready for Anything - Purchase all 9 upgrades for all uniforms (see section 8) ------------------ (30 pts.) In the End - Complete the single player story campaign on any difficulty ---------- (40 pts.) Note: Points earned from other Ubi Soft titles can go towards the purchase of Splinter Cell rewards and vice versa

============= Extra Weapons ============= Apparently Gamespot and Ubisoft intend to release a new piece of content for Conviction every Thursday, starting on April 15th (two days after the release of the game) with the MP7A1. Each new piece of content is available to

download for free under the exclusive content menu provided you have an internet connection and gamertag for your Xbox. MP7A1 (Added April 15th, 2010) ----Available to retrieve for free under the exclusive content menu This gun offers one handed silenced fire along with a 40 bullet magazine capacity. It has fairly high power along with moderate range and moderately low accuracy. Upgrades include the extended mag which brings the magazine up to 40 shots, a reflex sight to bring the number of marks from 2 to 3, and hollow point ammo for more power. Comes with a suppressor stock. Upgrades :::::::: Extended Mag - 300 pts. Reflex Sight - 400 pts. Hollow Point Ammo - 250 pts. FAMAS G2 (Added April 29th, 2010) -------Available to retrieve for free under the exclusive content menu The FAMAS offers great range with fairly high accuracy and power, and is very similar to the AK-47 with the exception of a smaller magazine capacity. Upgrades include a 2x scope for range and magnification, a laser sight for accuracy, and match grade ammo for even further range. Upgrades :::::::: 2x Scope - 300 pts. Laser Sight - 250 pts. Match Grade Ammo - 250 pts. VlKHR (Added May 27th, 2010) ----Available to retrieve for free under the exclusive content menu The VlKHR is a two handed machine pistol in the game offering a scope. Subsequently it offers great range after you purchase that particular upgrade, but average range before that. It also has exceptional accuracy and good power, along with an expected rate of fire for it's class. Upgrades include the 2x scope, a gun stock for accuracy, and match grade ammo to push the range near the top of the meter. This gun fires in 3 round bursts and doesn't have any other firing mode. Upgrades :::::::: 2x Scope - 300 pts. Gun Stock - 500 pts. Match Grade Ammo - 250 pts. P99 - Pistol (Added June 3rd, 2010) -----------Available to retrieve for free under the exclusive content menu

Honestly there is nothing special about the P99 except for maybe sentimental value. Even after the extended mag upgrade the clip is only 15 bullets, but it's still decent. It offers decent power for a pistol, and has respectable range but moderately low accuracy. No suppressor and 3 marks stock. Upgrades :::::::: Laser Sight - 250 pts. Extended Mag - 300 pts. Match Grade Ammo - 250 pts. ======= Gadgets ======= There are currently 6 upgradeable gadgets available for use in Conviction, and 3 extra gadgets that aren't. Each gadget has 2 upgrades all of which cost 250 pts. Here is a run down of all of them. EMP Grenade ----------Stun all enemies within the blast radius along with disabling any electronic devices in the area. Both upgrades increase the blast radius. Frag Grenade -----------Instantly either kills or knocks down all enemies within the range of the blast. Both upgrades increase the radius of the explosion. Flashbang --------Stuns your enemies by blinding them for a short period. Both upgrades increase the amount of time your enemies remain stunned. Remote Mine ----------Has the same effects of the frag grenade except you choose when to detonate it. You'll also notice that you're enemies won't notice a remote mine if it hasn't been detonated. Both upgrades increase the blast radius. Sticky Camera ------------Splinter Cell veterans will recognize this handy little tool. Aim where you want to stick the camera with your crosshair then press X to launch it. After it sticks to a surface you have the option of viewing the area with that camera by pressing X again. From there you can press B to attract an enemy with noise, then press Y to detonate the device as if it were a remote mine. you can also deactivate the camera with A, or pull out of the view by pressing X. Both upgrades increase the radius of the blast effect. Proximity Mine (Added April 22nd, 2010) -------------Available to retrieve for free under the exclusive content menu

Works the same as the remote mine except it will detonate only if there is an unfriendly close by. If you throw one right below an enemy it will detonate on impact. Both upgrades increase the radius of the blast. Portable EMP -----------This works the same as the EMP grenade except the radius of effect starts with Sam's position. It's basically like setting of an EMP grenade right at your feet where ever you are. This gadget is not upgradeable. Broken Mirror ------------Used to peek under doors to let you know what's on the other side. Can also be used to mark enemies for execution. This gadget is not upgradeable Snake Cam --------Functions the same as the broken mirror only with higher clarity and a zoom feature. This gadget is not upgradeable. ===================== Deniable Ops Uniforms ===================== The following uniforms are available right away or after initial purchase with P.E.C challenge points VR VYMPEL - 200 pts. --------VR MOZDOK TELECOM - 200 pts. ----------------3E BLACK ARROW - 200 pts. -------------3E URBAN TRACKER - 200 pts. ---------------CLASSIFIED (Looks similar to Sam's outfit in the single player mode) - 200 pts. ---------3E ECLIPSE (Esclusive to Archer) - available stock ---------VR SV1 AKULA (Exclusive to Kestrel) - available stock -----------The following uniforms are available only through a special method of unlocking 3E SHADOW ARMOR - Unlocked with a promotion code for those who purchased the --------------- collector's edition of the game under the exclusive content menu VR ZVEZDA - Unlocked through Uplay rewards (Looks ridiculous though so you --------- may want to save your points. I sure wish I had...lol) Costs 30 Uplay points

3E ELITE - (Added May 6th, 2010) Available to retrieve for free under the -------exclusive content menu VR AKALI - (Added May 20th, 2010) Available to retrieve for free under the -------exclusive content menu Each uniform has it's own set of 6 choices of camouflage (with the exception of the 3E ECLIPSE, VR SV1 AKULA and 3E ElITE) each costing 50 points to purchase. You can also purchase up to 9 upgrades for your uniform to customize it a little further. Each upgrade costs 100 points but you can only have 3 equipped at a time. In Co-Op story you can only wear the 3E ECLIPSE or VR SV1 AKULA uniforms, depending on which character you're playing as.

---------------------------------------------------------5. Single Player Campaign Walkthrough ---------------------------------------------------------In this section I'll describe the content of each level of Sam's missions along with the best way to approach them. I usually go for stealth first, then get into an optimal position to attack if it's necessary so I'll be describing strategies of that nature. It should be noted that these are simply the best methods of approach according to my own opinion, and don't necessarily have to be followed to the T. WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILERS ARE INCLUDED (I will leave out as many as I can as far as the story goes).

I. Merchant's Street Market =========================== The first level of the game is VERY short and most people will find it to be a breeze. When you are prompted by Grim to look up, do so with the right control stick and take a gander at the beacon on top of the building in front of you. Once you get control of Sam run straight ahead of you then a little left to reach the stalls that Grim is talking about. If you're confused just follow the arrow with the number on it which indicates how far your current objective is. When you reach the stalls hold the left trigger button to cover up against the structure that says cover here. From there Grim will prompt you to move to the next cover spot by pressing A when the white arrow pops up near it, provided you are crouched and covered along the far right edge of the first cover spot. Once you get to the 3rd spot Grim will tell you she's taking out the lights to give you cover. Right after that you'll have to play a quick flashback scene in Sam's memory from 20 years ago in his home. Just do what the game tells you as you see the objectives pop up on the walls and floors. First you have to turn on your daughter's light and console her, then turn it off to get her to go to sleep. After that sequence you'll be back in the original level needing to take out the 2 thugs patrolling the area. Just stay under cover and aim at their heads and you'll have no problems. If you want you can just run up to them shooting but it's not recommended, considering you can't use melee attacks quite yet. There is one more thug to kill a few feet later so move slowly. After you kill the third one you'll be sent back to the flashback. Upon re-entering the flashback sequence Sam will be confronted by 3 armed thugs attempting to rob his house. The first one sees you in the hallway and goes

in for the kill. Press B when prompted to perform a hand to hand kill on him. After that the game walks you through marking and executing opponents. Mark the other two enemies both with R then press Y to execute them quickly. After you kill them you'll be brought back to reality to learn that the thugs have brought in reinforcements, and Grim is going to try to find out who their leader is. You may want to pick up one of the Desert Eagles that the thugs dropped. Once you run a little further down you'll notice a thug to the left with his back turned. Perform a hand to hand kill on him, then mark and execute the two thugs talking in the hut. A few short steps after that Grim will tell you the name of the guy in charge of the thugs. Keep moving forward and when you come to a car move to the left towards the alley. You'll notice 4 enemies standing around the main square. Stay behind one of the provided cover spots and one of the thugs will come to you like a fly in a spiderweb waiting for a hand to hand kill. You can also take him as a human shield for cover. Either way once you earn the execution mark and execute the 3 enemies standing near each other, then kill your human shield if you took one. You'll notice another enemy standing further away from the 3. That's the gang leader which you have to interrogate so don't worry about him. When you get close enough he runs away down to the bathroom. When you come up to the wooden door press B near it to bash it in knocking Gramkos back into the wall. From there Sam will go into a cinematic where he disarms the enemy and puts him into a chokehold, ready to pump information out of him. When you are prompted, press B to beat the crap out of him. Different animations will come up depending on what kinds of structures you are near. For instance you can bash his head twice against one of the urinals from the get go, or pummel him against one of the stall doors, making for a hilarious and awkward situation for the guy taking a crap in their. Eventually he gives you the info that you want and you'll know where to go for the next mission, which will start automatically. II. Kobin's Mansion =================== At the start of the mission Sam will break one of his sideview mirrors from his SUV and use it to look under doors. Walk up to the door, look down, and press A when you are prompted to look under. Open the door and walk/run through the crowded streets towards your objective arrow, which is Kobin's Mansion. If you choose, you can clear the streets of innocents just by taking out your gun. Eventually someone will notice it and everyone will freak out and run away. This will also alert Kobin's goons though, so I don't recommend it. Run through the streets until you come up against a wall to your left. Move towards it and press A to climb it. Press A again to move to the other side of it, which is the front entrance to the mansion. Glide along the rail to Sam's right and take out the guard near the door with death from above. Just press the left trigger button when you're close to him, and the game prompts you to do so. Turn around and you'll notice two guards chatting it up right near the double door entrance to the first floor. Ignore them and climb up the window to your left by either pressing A while moving towards it, or by climbing the pipe right to the left of it. Once you're hanging from the window wait a second for a guard to come by. Hold down B when he gets next to the window to jump in and take him as a human shield. After that simply move him to a corner and either snap his neck or bash his head against a wall. You can also simply pull him out of the window so he falls down to the ground, but that will probably attract attention. After you dispose of him, move all the way down the hallway moving right to the farthest door. Use the mirror again by pressing A when looking down dear the door when the game prompts you. Mark the two enemies standing there talking, then open the door and execute them. Now move back into the hallway you were just in and go through the door

in the middle while staying silent. You'll see a lone guard leaning over the railway looking down on the main hall. Get near him and hold B to take him as a human shield. Then look down in the main hallway to see 3 guards standing below a chandelier talking. First mark two of the enemies of your choice. From there all you need to do is manually shoot the unmarked enemy, then quickly press Y to execute the other two. You can either do that or just shoot the chandelier to instantly kill all 3 of them, but that will attract attention and all of the lights in the mansion will come on, so I don't recommend doing it that way. Now you can safely move through the main hall without being detected. There are still two enemies chatting it up in one of the side hallways to the left of your area, but as long as you don't make noise you won't have to deal with them. Open the glass door at the end of the main hall and run down the hallway to come to your first weapon stash. Weapon stashes are used to reload ammo, and choose and upgrade your weapons and gadgets. You won't have very many options to start unless you've already unlocked other guns. In any case choose what you want, upgrade what you can and move on to the next hallway. At the end of the wood floor level there is a pipe you must climb up in order to get past the glass surrounding the inside of the room. Climb the pipe by pressing A near it, then shimmy you're way to the middle of the room where a lone guard is standing. Perform a death from above move to take him down without alerting anyone. After that move to the right up the small set of stairs to go around your enemies in the middle. There is one guard patrolling the opposite wood floor area, so dispatching him is fairly easy. You can also bypass him entirely by hanging on the outer ledge of one of the windows and moving all the way down to the end. It's better to take him out though, as you may need to take out the enemies in the middle, and you don't want to forget about him. Instead of walking down the stairs leading to the bottom floor of the room, jump over the ledge immediately to the left of the stairs. Then press the left trigger button a couple of times to drop down to the floor where you'll be hidden by shadow. You'll notice a group of enemies loading some kind of cargo. You can confront them with executions or by shooting down the chandelier on the ceiling. You do have the option to bypass all of them if you choose, but it's a little trickier. Stay hidden in shadow and wait for them to turn their backs. Then bolt like mad down the hallway to the right or behind you (depending on where you're standing). If you wanna take all of them out efficiently, start with a death from above kill on the first guard. Then mark and execute the two guards standing just a few meters away from you. Make sure you use a silenced weapon as anything else will get you detected. Then move up to the other side of the wooden flooring, and do a hand to hand kill on the one guard up there. Then jump over the ledge to the left of the stairs and drop down to the shadow behind one of the crates. Now mark the two enemies who aren't under the chandelier. Shoot the chandelier manually to take out the two thugs loading cargo underneath it, then quickly press Y to execute the other two. Once you make your way to the next hall be sure to pick up the EMP grenade on the table to the left before heading down the 2 flights of stairs to the bottom. When you arrive in this room you'll hear Kobin over the loud speaker taunting you and freaking out. A large number of shutters in front of you will open up, spitting out a slew of enemies in the process who will already be looking for you. As soon as you hear Kobin's voice run to the right of the room where you can cover behind barrels, and climb up a conveniently placed pipe to move around. Take out each of your opponents silently with discretion to get through this area the fastest. You can try to move through the area without being seen but it's very difficult. Don't go through the metal detectors in the middle of each section either, as it will alert everyone to your position. When it starts, move up the pipe then move to the intersecting pipe in the ceiling to put yourself in a good position to take out a lone enemy who wanders in that area. After that it's easiest to just stay hidden

and shoot the rest in the head, but you can approach this any way you choose. Shooting lights and utilizing the various pipes in these two rooms will help a lot. I recommend going through the right door after the first room, as it has more lights to shoot, and thus more potential shadows. After you get past the 2nd room you'll reach an area with a staircase and a weapon stash. Use the weapon stash if you have to, then head up the stairs and out the door at the end of the hallway. Walk up the stairs and climb the pipe to your right up to the window ledge. You'll see an enemy standing near the closest window, so take him out to your heart's content. In this particular hallway, if you die you'll respawn in the middle between the two stair cases and with no enemies to take care of. There are wooden double doors at the top of the stairs in the hall, but don't go through those as there are about a dozen goons waiting to drill you. The game won't let you open the door, but you can bash through it if you so choose, but you'll be entering a fire fight which you probably won't win if you do. Instead look to your right to find a window at the end of the hall. Climb out of it and shimmy your way across the back of the building. You'll notice Kobin and all of his thugs standing around waiting for you. You must neutralize all enemies in the area before you can secure Kobin to interrogate him. A good strategy is to bash down the double doors, then quickly run to the window at the end of the hall and flank them from behind. If don't bash the door you can move along the backside of the building and shoot enemies from the ledges. There is a lone enemy behind one of the windows who is easy to take out, and won't attract any attention. If you don't have an execution you can wait until an enemy is by himself, then take him as a human shield to earn one and provide cover for you. Don't forget that you have EMP grenades as well. They can come in pretty handy in this situation. Once you've cleared the room of all other enemies, Kobin will be yours to interrogate and learn more about the story, leading into the next mission. I recommend bashing him against the piano... III. Price Airfield =================== You'll start out in an interrogation room after you wake up from your little dart nap. When you're able to take control of Sam go through the storyline sequence with Grim by pressing B at the appropriate times. You've been stripped of all your items so you have to start fresh with the MK.23 which you'll receive from Grim, along with a snake cam. The snake cam is used the same way as the broken mirror, only more effective with the option to zoom. Go through the fenced door and quickly move to a cover spot on the right side of the hangar. You'll notice a lone guard patrolling to and from the area. When he has his back turned move close to him and grab him for a human shield or just kill him with a hand to hand move. Mark and execute the two guards talking near the lit up table a little further down. Grab the EMP grenade off of the table where the guards were standing along with the C4. Run down to the end of the walkway near the building to pick up a flashbang. Now climb up the window on the right side of the building in front of you. You can either wait for the guard to come near you and throw him out, or just hop in and take him down on the catwalk. Make sure it's a hand to hand kill either way. After you get in through the window and kill the guard move to your left along the catwalk and jump over the ledge of the walkway. Move to the other side where there is an open panel in the ceiling. Press A to drop down into the room below. Now open the door that's right in front of you and take out the guard immediately to the right working on the computer. Crouch and cover up against the wall that separates you from the other 3 guards in the room. While holding the cover button, move all the way to the right edge of the wall forcing Sam to look outwards giving you a clearer perspective. Mark the two guards working on the chopper. Shoot the trap structure hovering above the guard in the corner, then

immediately execute the other two. Press A near the side of the chopper to plant the C4. Now you need to take out an electrical grid to disable the airfields defenses. Go out the door in the same corner that the guard standing under the trap was in and move outside. Grab whatever you need from the weapon stash and move towards the next objective. You'll see an old truck in the distance as you get closer, which is a good structure to hide behind. From there go cover to cover to the supply boxes, then to the electrical structure near an open window on the barracks to the right. You can easily jump in the window and take out the guard who has his back turned reading something. There is also a frag grenade you can pick up in this room near the table on the floor. Move to the right side of the barracks and jump out of the open window at the end of it. Now move in the shadows between the next building in front of you while using any cover you see, especially the building itself. On the other side of this building are 2 guards chatting it up. You can wait for them to disperse after their conversation, or you can mark and execute both of them quickly to be able to move on. In any case, when you reach the back of the 3rd barracks, stand outside the window and shoot all of the lights in the room, as you will need the cover. This will alert one of the guards patrolling outside, but just stay where you are and make sure he doesn't shine his flashlight on you. Wait for him to let his guard down then jump in with a melee attack, or just shoot him in the head while you're using the cover of the building under the window. There is a frag grenade on the table in this room as well. You're objective is about 15 meters to your right at this point, but be careful when moving outside the building as there will be a few patrolling guards. Start by moving out of the building via the exit on your left, and move up to the building in the right corner where another truck is. There is a patrolling guard in this garage like room so be silent and take him out to earn yourself an execution. From there you can start by sticking in the shadows to the right side of this building. Use the truck on the left side of the area for cover, and make sure you make good use of executions and stun devices. In most situations you'll be forced to take out most of the enemies so be cautious. There are 3 guards inside the building where you need to go. If you have an execution all you need to do is mark them using the snake cam, then open the door and take them down. Quickly run to the bottom left corner of the room and press A when prompted to disable the power. After that more guards will come looking for you so get out of the room quick and hide between the building and the nearby fence on the other side. You'll probably see some enemies approaching the area where your objective is so just toss an EMP grenade to clear you for a few seconds, then get through the fenced door to the next objective. Grab what you need from the weapon stash then move to your left. Take immediate cover behind the supply boxes right in the middle of the ground in front of you. Look to your right and you'll see a guard searching around a hanger. Either shoot him in the head while you're covered or wait for him to move on to the next room. There is a pipe in the middle of the hangar that you can use to climb and stay out of sight while it moves you up to the next room. There may be an enemy lurking around in the room below you so either take him out with your pistol or by using death from above. Drop down from the pipe and move out of the room heading left. There are a lot of shadow spots here covered by things like bobcats, pallet jacks, etc. Pick out a target and take him as a human shield in order to sweep the guards patrolling the satellite dish. Once you place the C4 on the dish, all the lights around you will turn on and more guards will come pouring in. From the satellite dish, do a 180 and head into the large hangar that you see in front of you. There are numerous boxes that you can hide behind here, and effectively move from cover to cover to avoid detection. Most of the guards will be moving left towards the dish so all you really have to do is stay hidden and take out maybe 2 or 3 of them.

Once you're close to the front exit of the hangar, make like Deon Sanders and sprint around to the right and find some cover when no one is looking. After that move forward toward your objective, which is a call from Grim. The last stretch of the level has about 4-5 guards patrolling a very bottle necked area made more difficult by few cover spots. Start by hiding behind the boxes to the left of the truck and do some recon as to the guards patrol patterns. Use a silenced scoped rifle if you have one, otherwise stick to the shadows and wait for the enemies to move into range. A good place to wait is the corner on the left near a building with a fence and some parking structures. There are also plenty of shadows to the left beyond that building. Most of the time there will be one remaining guard standing in the room where you need to disrupt the gate lock system. If you peek under the door you'll see him aiming at you, but all you need to do is move around to the right and flank him from his left side. Press A near the objective to disrupt the gate security system and you're on to the next level once you reach the car. IV. Diwaniya, Iraq ================== Once you take control of your character you'll get an AK-47 with unlimited ammo and 2 frag grenades to start. Move up to the first parking structure that you see in the middle of the street and use it as cover to take out the first two enemies you see walking away from you. If you need to, use the right thumb stick to zoom in with your AK by clicking it in. Now move all the way up to the semi-truck you see in the distance on the right and use it for cover for the next group of enemies. You should be about 198 meters away from your objective at this point. Move to the parking structure on your left in the middle of the street and use it for cover as you take out the 5 enemies a little further down. Move around cover spots as needed and don't forget that you have a couple of frag grenades. More grenades will be available later in the level so don't be hesitant to use them if you feel compelled. After you kill them move up to a light brown colored truck in the middle of the street and cover behind it. You should be about 140 meters give or take away from your objective at this point. There are 5 more enemies to take care of in the next 50-60 meter stretch. A blue car in the middle a little further up from the truck is a good spot to start your cover, and don't hesitate to move around as there are plenty of others. From there move all the way up to your objective which is near a semi-truck on the left side of the street. Then move to cover behind the red car in front of you, and eventually the white car to the left of that. Use the white car as cover to take out the slew of enemies occupying the area in front of you. There are about 7-8 of them on the left side and a couple on the right side who may try to flank you so make sure you move around cover spots frequently. The two enemies on the right can be taken care of from behind a red car right after you enter the fenced area. There's also a truck with a large gas tank in the middle which you can blow up with just a few shots making for a nice area of effect explosion to take out enemies nearby. As you get closer to the objective there will be about 3 more enemies appearing on the left side. Move in from the right and use the building behind the gas truck for cover. When you're all clear head for the blue gate in the corner of the area towards your objective. When you reach the truck on your right you'll get a checkpoint. Run and slide behind the red car on the left, then move cover to cover to the car in front of it. Then move cover to cover from the car and the first granite rock to the second. There is one guard all by himself on the left, and two guards chatting in the busted building in front of you next to an explosive barrel. Shoot the barrel to take out the two guards in the building, then quickly turn

and take out the guard on the left. Then move behind the blue truck on your right and use it to take out the two guards already shooting at you from inside the building on the right with the large hole in front. There will be about 3 guards in the distance behind the barricades about 20 meters away from your current objective, and two more on the right side of the area behind the buildings. If you need to you can go up the stairs of the building that had the explosive barrel and shoot from the roof for a better vantage point. Once it's all cleared head to the objective. Go through the blue gate and move into the building on your left. Take a right once inside and circle around all the furniture. When you are looking at a desk down the hallway take cover behind the wall on your left and use it to take out the 3 enemies who come pouring in behind the desk. Before you move around the desk to the next hallway take a look through the window on your right. Eventually a lone enemy will move into view awaiting your arrival around the corner. Take him out with his back turned to you, then move around the desk to the next hall. You'll see a door right in front of you, but don't go rushing in as there are a few enemies waiting for you. Instead cover up against the wall to the right of the door and peek inside to take out one guard hiding behind a desk on the left side of the room. Once you take him out you may have one of the other enemies rush you. If that happens just unload everything you've got straight into him. One of them may also throw a frag grenade at the door, so just move back into the hallway if that happens. There's one enemy behind a desk on the right side of the room who you can see clearly in front of you if you move to the left side of the door in the hall way. The last enemy is on the very right corner of the room, but if you're patient you can get him to move behind the desk near where the first enemy was, making it easier to take him out from outside. When they're taken care of move into the room and go out the blue door in the corner. Follow the hallway towards your objective and go out the green gate into the playground. The objective is about 10-15 meters on the diagonal right. Move to the right side of the building with the objective and cover yourself below the window. When you look in you'll see the squad leader getting thrashed by enemies. Take them out using the building itself under the window as cover. Then move around to the left and go through the door and press A near the squad leader to free him. After you rescue him there will be an explosion taking out the wall on the other side of the room. Take cover behind the barricade and do everything you have to to protect the squad leader. There are quite a few explosive barrels to take out so make good use of them. Use your grenades to your heart's content as they will be replenished by the grenades sitting on the ground right next to you. You'll only have to hold them off for about a minute or so before the cut scene takes you to the next level. V. Washington Monument ====================== Once you take control of Sam walk towards the carnival grounds as you're talking to Vic. The tails that you have to take out are marked by a white X so they're easier to keep track of. Move slowly towards the first tail and make sure you stay behind him. Eventually he'll move into a small alley with a couple of intersections which is the perfect spot to grab him. Get behind him and press B to grab a hold of him and interrogate him. Make sure you're hidden in shadow when you're doing this because if anyone in the crowd sees it then the other tails will be alerted and your mission will fail. After you take care of the first tail turn around and head back the way you came out of the alley way. The next tail will be moving to the left side of the grounds and eventually next to one of the concession stands. Move slowly behind him then walk to the left behind the concession stand and wait for him to turn

around. Get behind him and grab him to interrogate him. After he talks leave him in the corner next to the small opening behind one of the carnival game stands. At this point the third tail should be walking away from your position in the middle of the grounds. Follow him to a dark area surrounded by a few porto potties. Grab him and interrogate him there. From there exit the area and move to your left. Sam will tell Vic that he took care of the spotters and now the two set up a quick meeting in the booth right in front of the monument itself. Follow your objective arrow if you get lost. Enter the booth via the door on it's left side. Once inside Vic will give a run down of the current situation and info on the next mission. He'll also give you a pack with a pistol and a portable EMP device used to stun enemies and disable surrounding electronics. As you exit the booth you'll learn of a gas leak in the fair grounds that forces everyone to evacuate. This is actually just cover used by the enemies to flush you out. Run back towards the fair grounds and slide behind the cover spot that the game prompts you with. Stun the 4 enemies here with the portable EMP then either take them out or run past them to your right and find some more cover. Eventually you'll see a truck parked in between some of the stands. Shoot out the headlights and move to your left to find a few more enemies waiting for you here. Mark as many of them as you can, then use the portable EMP to stun them, and take one as a human shield. Once you earn the execution quickly press Y to take out the rest of your enemies. After that move down a pathway to the right with a red car at the end of it. Move to your left near the porto potties and hold here for a second. A lone guard will come wandering near you. Grab him for a human shield and keep moving. There will be about 3 more enemies in this area so take them out however you want, obviously executions are ideal. After that keep moving towards the objective and find the see saw pirate ship ride on the left. Move through the small hole near it and cover up against the small fence that will give you a view of the beginning of the fair grounds. Shoot the fire extinguisher near the guard standing in front of you, then head shot the lone guard that comes to investigate. There are 4 enemies to take care of in the parking lot. If you have an execution and/or portable EMP handy make good use of them. A well placed remote mine can also do the job, as all 4 of them pretty much stand still in the same area unless they become alerted to your presence. If you don't have any gadgets or executions you'll need to be accurate with your shots and use the available parking structures for cover. Once they're taken care of head to your car to end the level. VI. White Box Laboratories ========================== Get whatever you want from your weapon stash out of your car on your right, then head up to the first objective. The lone guard at the security booth is easy to sneak past, otherwise take him out however you want. When you get past him you can run full speed across the parking lot and Vic will tell you how to get into the lab. Run to the left side of the building and climb the pipe here. Once at the top move to the right and climb up the next section. Then run across the roof top to the end and you'll see another pipe to climb on your left. At the top of this pipe shimmy your way across the wall to the right and keep climbing the pipes until you reach a catwalk surrounded by industrial fans. Climb up the pipe on the right side of the catwalk and move to the right across the yellow bars. Climb the next pipe here and move to the left when you get to the top. Then climb the last pipe which will lead you inside the building. Move through the large piping system in front of you and crouch underneath in one area and you'll eventually reach a set of stairs and another catwalk. Stay crouched, follow the path and don't worry about any of the scientists spotting you because you can't be detected here. Climb over the ledge and down the pipe, then continue on the catwalk until you see the

security room. Climb up the pipe next to the security room and move along it until you're directly above the glass looking down into the room. One enemy will move to and from the control panel and the equipment directly below you. Mark the other two enemies in the room (one in the bottom right corner, and the other working on the computer in the front). Take out the enemy in the middle below you with death from above, then quickly execute the other two after you land. Press A near the computer to investigate the security cameras. Move between the different camera feeds with left and right on the D-pad until you see a bunch of black arrow guards overseeing some work being done by scientists on an EMP device. After the sequence you'll be apprised of your next objective which is to question the remaining scientist in the machine shop. Move to your left out of the door and follow the catwalk to an open window at the end on the right. Leap out of the window and drop down to the floor. Run up the stairs to your right and go all the way across the room. Jump over the ledge and climb up the pipe you see on the right wall. Move over the lone guard here and take him out with a death from above move. Make sure he's standing behind something or in shadow as you don't want to alert the guards ahead of you. Move slowly to the left side of the room and advance towards the 4 enemies guarding the scientist using the available shadows in the process. Mark and execute as many of them as you can then use whatever means necessary to take out the remainders. Once they're all dead you're free to question the scientist by pressing A near him. After you're done talking to him he'll activate the elevator in front of you. Use it to go to the next area of the mission. When you get off of the elevator head over to the weapon stash to pick up a sticky camera. Take a look under the double doors to your right and mark as many of the enemies that you see here. Don't bother trying to save the scientists as they die no matter what you do. After marking the enemies turn around and head through the other door on the left. Hop through the open window in this room and shimmy across the ledge until you reach the window with a guard standing in front of it. Hold B to shatter the window and take him as a human shield, then execute the enemies that you had marked. After that take out the remaining guards in whatever way you want. Run down the hallway in front of you on your right. Move to the bottom of the escalator that you see here and turn off the light switch near it. Look up the escalator and you'll find one guard patrolling back and forth from the top. Take him out with a head shot then throw a sticky camera on the support structure you see to the right of him. Press X to enter the sticky cam, press B to make noise, then Y to detonate the explosion when you have any targets nearby, which should be at least two. There will still be other guards to take care of so be careful as you make your way up the escalator. Once at the top run straight ahead of you and climb the pipe that you see. At the top of the pipe move along the left side of the ledge and take out the guard who is looking downward. Mark and execute as many enemies as you can from there while hanging from the ledge. After you clear the top area of enemies head towards the objective through the gray door on the other side. Look to your left to find a weapon stash and use it if you need to. After that keep moving through this room to the left. Eventually Grim will come on the line and start talking to you giving another objective. After the conversation head through the gray door at the end of the room. There will be one guard in this room, but about 4 more in the room adjacent so don't do anything too rash. My advice is to grab the lone guard in the first room for a human shield, then walk towards the other guards and execute them. Any remaining can be taken out easily while you have the human shield. Go through the wooden door at the end of the second room marked exit, and climb up the pipe at the end of the catwalk to reach the room above you. After you drop

down, turn the lights off via the switch next to the door quickly as a guard will soon be patrolling the room next to you. After it's dark take a peek under the door with your snake cam and mark the two enemies talking here. The enemy patrolling the next room can be taken out with a hand to hand kill or with death from above by climbing the low ceiling structure above the room. If you move through the second room on the ground the area that you're feet touch will be lit up so make sure you stay behind cover. When all 3 enemies are in range press Y for your execution. After they're taken care of move to the shadow spot at the end of the hall between this room and the next one. Wait at this spot for a lone guard to approach the left side of the room where he'll stop. You can either shoot him to attract other guards then use an explosive device, or you can wait for him to walk towards you then attract him back to the last room by running and making noise with your foot steps. If you do that and he starts to investigate hide behind one of the barricades in the last room and wait for the opportunity to strike. A hand to hand kill is recommended so you can use an execution on the other enemies in that room. You can also try using the sticky camera. If you can manage to make your way up to the ceiling structure that's a good spot to pick and choose your targets. After you sweep this room head towards the double doors on the other side. Peek under the doors and mark as many enemies as you can, then leap out of the open window to your right. Move along the ledge all the way around to the back of the room. The best strategy here is to take out your enemies one by one while staying behind the shadowed cover in the back of the room. Don't walk onto the light floors because it will give away your position. If you already have an execution feel free to bust through the double doors at the beginning and use it after marking them with the snake cam. If you only have 2 or 3 executions make sure you run back and hop out the window and move across the ledges to the back of the room to flank the remaining enemies. After this room is cleared go through the wooden door at the end marked exit. Move around the other side of the room and climb down the pipe to drop into Robinson's office. After you hack the computer get ready for an onslaught of enemies coming from the two far doors in each corner, and the elevator in the middle of the room. Proximity mines are the best gadget to use in this situation if you have them, otherwise use remote mines, other grenades and of course your guns. If you run out of the gadgets you like to use just quickly enter and exit the weapon stash next to the computer to refill your inventory. There are also a couple of pipes you can climb to stay hidden and even throw gadgets from. After the download for Grim is complete you'll be given your next objective. Look for stairs leading downward in the office and follow the catwalk at the bottom. Eventually you'll run into a pipe that you must climb to get lower. Drop from the pipe then leap over rails and ledges until you get to the bottom of the lab where you first questioned the scientist. You'll lose a little health when you drop to the bottom so wait for it to regenerate before you go waltzing in. Upon reaching the objective you'll be confronted by about 6 enemies that come from the other side of the room. Use the available cover, shadows, and gadgets accordingly to take them out. When they're dead move towards the computer at the top of the catwalk above the stairs to activate the EMP. Turn around and drop from the ledge to see that you're last objective is to escape the building which is about 50 meters away. Once you see the garage open toss a frag grenade at the feet of the enemies waiting for you. You can clean up the last few with the portable EMP along with your guns or melee moves or however you choose. After that it's smooth sailing to the end of the parking lot bringing you to the end.

VII. Lincoln Memorial ===================== Once you take control of Sam walk in the street as Grim and the President talk to you about your mission. When the conversation ends run or walk towards the objective which is a control booth for the TV camera's. Press A near the computer in the booth to activate the camera feed. Zoom in with the right thumb stick and wait for Reed and Galliard to come into view in the middle of the memorial. Galliard is a black man with a gray suit and red tie, and Reed is the guy who told Grim to interrogate you at the airfield. Press the d-pad left and right to switch between one of 3 camera feeds. As Reed and Galliard move around you'll need to switch to the right camera in order to hear them talking. Start with the first one then press right on the d-pad to get the next best camera. Press right again when they get out of range the second time, then press left to go back to the middle camera to finish out the conversation. After that you're objective is to interrogate Galliard. Grim will stall him with a phone call so you can move into position behind him. When he has his back turned grab him with B and interrogate him. After the interrogation an assassin will shoot Galliard from behind, and now you have to chase the shooter through the area. Just stay within sight of him and don't worry about catching him because you're not actually supposed to. Grim will update you on his locations from time to time, and if you lose sight of him. After you hop the fence by pressing A when you get near it, go through the first tent and past a white semi-truck. You'll need to take care of a couple of police officers here. Stay behind cover and use hand to hand take downs on them. Don't worry about the shooter either because he'll be waiting to shoot you when you come around the next corner. Keep following him and jump over the spilled luggage with A. He'll be waiting for you again after the next corner. Run in behind the skid machine and the other structures as you keep chasing him to avoid his gunfire. When you reach the next tent you'll need to move around the cubicles to the left and keep following him. Run past a crouching reporter and turn right near the corner of the tent to stay on him. Eventually he'll leave the tent and force you to turn right at a corner with another semi-truck to an area with two more cops to deal with. Take out the cops then turn left to see the killer shoot an innocent and run through a media booth. Keep following him towards another semi outside while he runs and shoots back at you. Run towards the semi and press the left shoulder button to slide and crouch under it. Turn left when you get back out and keep following him. Turn right and leap over the black rail to keep following him through a cafe. Turn left outside of the cafe towards the street. Keep running and you'll see him enter a black car which explodes after you get close enough to it. After that Grim tells you that multiple 3rd Echelon operatives are closing in on your position. Use the Cafe as cover (particularly the 2nd floor for a nice vantage point). There are also a couple of pipes and ledges you can climb on to hide and flank the enemies. The first wave will come from your left when looking towards the cafe from the street that you started at. There's only 2 of them and the game automatically gives you an execution to start so just hide behind one of the barricades and wait for them to get in range and execute them. The 2nd wave will consist of 3 enemies and will come from the north part of the street. Mark two of them with your pistol to keep track of them. Make sure you grab either a UMP or M-500 from one of the downed enemies. The 3rd wave is also 3 enemies that will come from the left again, same spot as the first wave. If you have an execution and a UMP or shotgun go ahead and execute them to save you some hassle. If you don't, stay hidden on the 2nd floor of the Cafe and pick apart the enemies one by one. After the 3rd wave is done you're ride will come, but also a 4th wave coming from the north

street again. Run towards your objective and stay covered. You can also stay hidden from each wave of enemies the entire time if you choose, but a new wave will come after a certain amount of time in intervals, and it makes things a little more complicated. In any case once you reach the car by the bridge behind the cafe to escape the level is over. VIII. 3rd Echelon HQ ==================== Be aware that in the first half of this level you can't have any alerts otherwise the mission will fail. This includes using ANY gadget, being seen, or a guard finding a dead body, so use discretion. Grab what you want from the weapon stash in the back of the car then move slowly to the left along the wall near the shadows. Behind the white car there is an opening in the wall with a ledge that you must climb over. Drop down then drop below even further using the pipe or just the ledge. Crouch to walk under the ceiling here with a train going by. Climb up the pipe that you see here to the ledge then hop over to the other side. There will be two guards standing near you talking with an option to use death from above. DON'T DO IT. Wait for the guards to disperse then drop down into a shadow spot. Move along the area near the left wall until you come to the 2nd or 3rd to last pillar and use it to climb up the ledge. Shimmy your way across the ledge all the way to the very corner of the room with a small opening for you to climb into. Climb up into the opening but be careful that the guard patrolling the 2nd level parking lot near you doesn't spot you. Drop down into this room and plant the C4 on the security panel by pressing A near it. Now take a look under the door exiting the room with your snake cam. When you see the guard move to the left and stop, you have a window to go and grab him for a human shield. Be silent and make sure the rotating camera doesn't see you either. Take him as a human shield then break his neck while standing still and pressing B when you're in a shadow spot. If you don't wanna take out the guard just wait until he's out of the picture and move directly to your left and reach the corner with a shadow spot to hide. Cover here and look to your left down towards the lower adjacent parking lot. Wait until it's clear then quickly run and slide behind the semi-truck parked in the corner. There may be a guard patrolling near you so take him out when he has his back turned. Shoot the light in the middle above the car in front of you to give you some extra cover as you move across the left side of the lot behind other cars. There's plenty of shadow in the corner of the lot near the transformer room so use it to your advantage. Sometimes there will be a guard standing in front of the door to the room so you'll need to distract him with a sticky camera or some other noise like shooting a light or running near by. When the coast is clear run in through the door and plant the C4 on the security panel in the room. The elevator that you now need to reach is on the lowest level in the middle. Stick to the shadows and use car alarms to distract guards as you make your way to it. If you attract an enemy towards the elevator as you activate it from the inside, don't worry they won't be able to see you as the game goes into a cinematic to protect you. When you get off of the elevator you'll be in the 3rd Echelon main lobby with some very eerie but quaint music playing. Walk up to the receptionist and talk to her with A. After you detonate the C4 and you can take control of Sam again, quickly shoot the guard behind the counter in the booth dead ahead of you. After that get in under the moving gate as fast as you can before it closes which results in a mission failure. Once you're in past the gate move to your left and run down the hallway. There will be 2 guards waiting for you at the end here so make good use of your grenades whether it be a frag, EMP or otherwise. Be quick about it as you'll notice other gates closing in

front of you and at the end of the hallway. After they're dead turn right and make your way through the area. You'll see some double doors close in front of you so go down the stairs to your right. Cover up against the edge of the red wall on your right and peek around the corner to see a hoard of enemies looking for you. Wait for the right time and quickly enter the first door on the right side of the room where one guard was investigating. Take out the guard in the room with a hand to hand kill then peek under the door on the other side. Make sure there are no enemies then exit the room and head to the right. Leap over the ledge and make your way to the end of the room from the other side. There is also a low ceiling that you can climb up in this room for cover if you've been spotted. Run through the hallway to the next room which is surrounded by glass in the middle. Cover up against the edge of the wall on your right and move cover to cover to the small wall in front of you that the camera light moves to and away from. Take yourself out of cover and climb up this structure to the low ceiling above. Make your way to the end of the ceiling then drop down when there are no enemies around, then quickly jump up the next ceiling in front of you. Head to the end of this ceiling on the left side and wait here. When the coast is clear of enemies and the camera light hop down and cover yourself up against the small wall on your right, similar to the one that you climbed up in the beginning of this room to get to the ceiling. From there turn around and look behind you. When the coast is clear run to the cover spot on the left side of the next hallway, then quickly run to the right side of the hall and cover up against the wall here. Peek down the hallway on your right and mark the two enemies talking at the end. Now look to your left and move cover to cover to the white desk in front of you. From there move up in the room to another white desk near the middle. Careful here as there is probably a lone enemy to your left on the other side of the room. Wait for him to walk through the door a little further down then melee him in the next room. After that go back to the last room and position yourself to execute the two talking guards in the hall behind one of the desks. Then make your way past the orange door where they were talking while avoiding the camera light. Walk through here and go through the door on your left and you'll find the tech that Grim was talking about, who gives you the sonar goggles. After you get the goggles quickly jump up to the low ceiling from the middle of this room to avoid immediate detection. Press up on the d-pad to activate the sonar goggles to see enemies through the walls. Mark as many of them here as you can, then move to your right to the edge of the ceiling. Perform a death from above kill on the guard below you then quickly execute the enemies that you have in range. When it's clear exit the server room the same way you entered, and make your way back to first room with the low ceiling. When you arrive you can make your way back through this area the same way you did the first time by climbing up the structure to the ceiling. Hop down from the ledge when you get to the end as long as there are no enemies around then jump up to the next ceiling. After that room all you have to do is backtrack your way to the double doors that closed on you near the beginning after infiltrating security. There are more guards in the area so use your sonar goggles effectively and stay hidden. Once you reach the double doors you'll have laser grids to deal with, but are easily seen with the sonar goggles. Also when you get your new objective, any enemies that may have been pursuing you will disappear. Turn on your goggles and move into the room. Wait for the first laser to move up then crouch past it. Turn left and wait for the 2 lasers here to move up then crouch past them. Jump over the plant structure on the left of the laser on the ground to get past that one. Crouch under the next laser then hop over the structure in the middle of the next one to get past that. There are 3

straight lasers here in a row that appear and disappear so time your movements carefully. After those move left into the next area of the room. The last set of lasers you have to get past has 2 verticals and 2 horizontals. Wait until you have a sizeable window to move past them. When past them jump up over the small window surface above the wall to get to the other side. If you trigger any of the lasers a turret will come online and shoot you to death, but you'll only have to restart at the beginning of the room. You're now in Reed's office. Make your way up the stairs at the end of the room to find Kobin on the phone begging for help. Walk up to him and grab him to interrogate him again. When he's standing near the edge of the office near some glass, interrogate him again with B and Sam will kick him over the edge. After that you can pummel him into the big screen TV mounted on the right or the table in front of you. Interrogate him near the American flag for a humorous sequence. After you're done with him exit the room and you'll hear a group of enemies coming into your location. Head back into the office and find some cover. From here use your gadgets and guns to take them out while staying hidden. After you kill the first wave of enemies you'll have a talk with Grim, and when that ends another wave comes in. Proximity mines and the portable EMP are the most useful tools in this situation, but you can take care of business any way you like. Just make sure you have adequate cover. After you're done with them head through the garage door that they came through. Don't go walking directly in the middle of this hall as it will set off a turret from a laser grid. Turn on your sonar goggles and head into the room on your left. There are 3 vertical lasers moving horizontally in this room so you have to jump over the theatre seats with good timing. Stay on the right and wait for the first two lasers to move to the left and quickly hop over both rows. Move up close to the last set of seats to avoid the 2nd laser, then hop over them when the time is right. Then move to your right or left and jump up to the ledge above. Wait until the two lasers on top are on the other side then quickly hop over and drop down to the next room. Jump over the structure in the middle when the laser starts to move away from you, then drop down in between the two structures and cover up against the 2nd one. Wait for the laser to pass you again going in the opposite direction then leap over the structure and exit the room via the door on your right. After that you don't have to deal with any more lasers so you can relax a little. Run through this hallway and take cover behind the first pillar you see on the right. There is an enemy on the far left side of the room searching for you. You can either wait for him to peek out the other side near the far left pillar, or you can sneak up behind him by moving through the room to your left. There are about 5 more enemies to take care of in this area so make good use of marking and executing while staying behind the provided cover. When the coast is clear you can leap over the barricade to the right of the first hallway and run behind the enemies by going to the left. In this area you can jump up to the 2nd level of a catwalk and pick off enemies from there. Once they're clear head to the rear stair case to the east of the hallway you entered from. When you reach the 2nd floor move to your left and slowly go down the hallway to the right. A splinter cell will come through the ceiling about 9-10 meters away from you. You'll know he's coming by the squeal noise that his goggles make so have your gun ready. A second splinter cell will come to investigate the body so move to the room on your right and flank him on the other side. After those two are dead you can safely move on ahead to Grim's office. When you reach the office press A near the phone to start a cinematic in which Sam learns a few devastating truths about Lambert and his daughter. After the cinematic is complete you need to quickly exit the building before it explodes. The game will give you a bonus number of marks for whatever gun you're using, along with every enemy from here on out being premarked and ready for execution.

Just press Y when you see the red arrows and you'll get through this sequence in no time. When you reach the elevator that you came up in a cinematic starts and the level ends. IX. Michigan Ave. Reservoir =========================== Grab what you want from the weapon stash from your car on the left then head upwards down the street. Run along side the bushes on the left then quickly slide and cover behind the first granite structure that you see. Wait until the guard on the left turns his head then quickly move cover to cover to the next spot, and finally the 3rd one which will put you in the middle of all of the enemies in front of you. Throw a frag grenade or a remote mine in between the guard in front of you and the supply box on the right immediately after the guards start talking. This should wipe out the first 4 enemies in the area as long as you have a strong enough blast radius with your gadget. If not, stay behind cover and head shot the stragglers. If you need better cover there is a pit on the left side of the level that you can leap over and stay there for as long as needed. When the black arrow officer is all by himself move up to the supply box then move cover to cover from the box to the water pipe on the left, and finally the bricked structure in front of the truck that he's hiding behind. Stay crouched and keep moving to the left of the bricks to get behind the officer, grab him with B and interrogate him. I recommend doing at least one interrogation move against the front of the truck for it is very fun to watch. After you get the info you need from him head to the left side of the building behind you. Also don't be afraid to head back to the weapon stash to replenish your ammo and gadgets if need be. On the left side of the warehouse is a pipe that leads up to an open window for you to climb through. Inside is another pipe on your left that you can climb to stay hidden and move through the area. Mark the 3 farthest enemies to the right and quickly take them out so no one is alerted. Then move along the pipe and use death from above on the guard walking to and from the left and right sides of the room. After that take immediate cover behind something on the right side of the room. You can either take out the remaining enemies with mark and execute, or you can climb back up the pipe and move all the way to above the two guards talking. Use death from above on one and you'll automatically use a hand to hand kill on the other. If you're gonna do it this way make sure you have the other enemies around you marked before you get the drop on the first two. There's also a small vent covered pathway in the floor which you can use to move around the room undetected. When it's all clear head towards the building that says "Find the Scientist" and jump up the pipe to move downward past the elevator shaft to the sewer level. When you reach the bottom crouch down and head through the opening on the left and follow the pathway under all the pipes until you reach a wall that says "rescue the scientist." You'll see a pipe to the left of that wall. Climb it and drop down onto the catwalk above. Jump up on to the next pipe that you see and climb downwards, but not all the way to the ground. From on the pipe locate the 3 guards talking below you with your sonar goggles. If you have an execution go ahead and use it, otherwise toss a remote mine at their feet and detonate it. Head back up the pipe back onto the catwalk and look for another pipe to the right. Use it to climb down to the corner where there is plenty of shadow to cover you. There are still 4 enemies to route in the immediate area so stay hidden and be patient as you take them out however you choose. When it's clear head to the next room through the opening on the left, then head up the stairs to the left of the sewer to reach the room where the scientist if being held. Before you do anything mark the 4 enemies in the room using your sonar goggles. Leap over the ledge and use death from above on the guard who is squatting below you on the left, then

use your execution to take out the rest of them. If you're not using the Five-Seven make sure you have a gun that has 3 marks so you can mark the other 3 enemies prior to killing the first one with death from above. Otherwise just use an EMP device to provide temporary cover and wipe them out however you want. Taking a human shield works nicely, just don't use explosives near the scientist as it will most likely get her killed. When they're taken care of talk to the scientist with A to learn about the generators that you must take out in order to disable the EMP. Run out of the room and head right to find a weapon stash. Use it if you need it and continue up the stairs following the path to the next objective. A cut scene will take place giving you a layout of the rest of the area and the parameters for taking out the generators. After taking control of Sam again move straight ahead and jump to the ledge of the rail in front of you. Wait for the lone guard to get close to you then grab him and throw him over with B. Climb over the ledge then scale the pipe on your left to get into a good position for shooting the remaining enemies. Wait here for a minute or so and 1 or 2 more enemies will come wandering in making for an easy kill, otherwise you can use your pistol from the pipe along with executions. If you have to you can jump back down below the ledge where you started to cover yourself, but this part is a lot easier than it looks. When all of those enemies are routed move up and to the left and get behind the cover spot behind the white structure. You'll notice a guard operating a turret from inside the tunnel. Move to the left cover spot in front of the turret using cover to cover to minimize damage taken from the turret. Once there, throw an explosive device behind the laptop that the guard is working on to disable him and the turret. I recommend using a sticky camera, as you are probably are going to need as many frags and mines as you can get for later areas of the mission. When the guard and the turret are down head into the tunnel and make a left dropping down the ledge into the sewer. Take a right and you'll see your next objective displayed on the wall right next to you. You need to take out both generators at the same time. You'll be sending the coordinates to Vic of each one so he can take them out through the air with a combat helicopter. At the end of the sewer is a wall you can climb up to with a ledge below the rail. Wait for the lone guard to walk nearby then grab him and toss him over. Hop over the ledge and get behind the first cover spot you see without being noticed. Then move behind the motor cycle on the right (You shouldn't be spotted). Mark and execute the 4 enemies on the right. Most of the time the two guards on the left standing near the generator won't be alerted as long as you're using a silenced weapon. Take out these two with your gun while behind cover or throw a stun device and move in for the kills. When it's all clear press A near the generator to send Vic the coordinates. Afterward head to your left and move along the right side of the next building. After a few seconds a flashbang will hit the screen and a wave of enemies will come for you up ahead. You can use the pipe inside the building to your left for cover, otherwise just toss an explosive up ahead and find some cover quick. When it's clear head to the next area on the right down the ramp. Grab what you need from the weapon stash on the left table then head down the hallway leading left. Cover up against the wall and move to the edge near the door. Mark the 3 enemies here that you see. Now move cover to cover past the door to the other side of the wall then quickly move down the hall to the next door without being detected. Cover up against the wall until you get to the edge of the door. Move to the cover spot behind the wooden crate in front of you which is protected by shadow. Execute the 3 enemies on the other side of the room from here. Wait here until you see a guard notice the bodies that you just knocked off. You'll have 3 enemies to deal with initially so stay in this shadow spot until you see an opening to take out a guard by himself. After that you can execute the other two. After that you'll still have about 6 more enemies to deal with further down the room. Get behind the pillar in

front of the truck that two enemies were loading and pick off a couple of enemies from here. Other than that use your gadgets and cover spots and be discrete. Moving past the remaining 3-4 enemies actually isn't very difficult because they'll mostly investigate the bodies on the other side of the room. Just stick to the left side and move cover to cover as needed. When you're done head up the ramp on the other side of the room and the game will cut to a cinematic. After the cinematic you'll have an attack chopper on you for the remainder of the level so make sure you cover yourself well. As you move through the area always have a cover spot in sight for safety sake, but worry about the ground enemies first. The chopper will never circle around behind you so whatever cover spot that your behind will suffice because the chopper always moves in front of you. Start by taking out the enemy on the other side of the blasted wall behind the rock formations. Then move inside the busted building on your left. From here you should be able to pick off a second enemy hiding behind some cover on the left side of the area. When the chopper stops shooting run like crazy to the small building you see in the middle for cover. Cover yourself along the edge moving to the right. From there you'll see another cover spot directly in front of you, so get behind it on the right side. Throw a frag grenade or two near the building ahead of you, as a couple of guards will be coming out of it by now. Also beware of the guard that hides to the left and tries to flank you. The final enemy will try to take cover right in front of you, so take care of him with a well placed head shot. When the area is clear and the chopper isn't firing, move quickly upwards towards the next building and head inside. Move through here and hop out the far window on the right. Get behind the cover spot in front of you on the right side and wait for enemies to pour in on on the east side of the next building which is where the other generator is. After the first 4 enemies or so move up a couple of cover spots. Now cover up against the building next to the generator and move along the edge all the way to the left. There is a lone guard behind some cover in front of you so take him out. Once it's clear head to the generator and press A to send Vic the coordinates. From there the game goes into a cinematic after which the level ends. X. Downtown District ==================== When you take control of Sam after the chopper wreck head up the stairs of the theatre and cover yourself against the wall on the left. There will be upwards around 8 enemies looking for you in this first area so be very careful. Wait in the theatre itself and take out enemies who come searching one by one in the shadows. You can position yourself for attack by moving to the edge of the cover wall on the right near the main entrance to the theatre, or go around the side exit on the left or right sides. Make use of everything at your disposal especially the sonar goggles to mark and execute enemies. Just be patient and wait for them to make mistakes, or bomb the crap out of them with explosives which works fine considering they cluster together for the most part. After they're taken care of or snuck past head out the theatre into the street. Run to your right and all the way down the street until you are forced to walk. Make a left turn at the next street and keep moving towards the objective. Halfway down the street an explosion will take place and a citizen will start freaking out because his wife was in the car that exploded. When you reach the people panicking turn right and head down the alley. Crouch and move silently towards the pipe in front of you as the citizen starts talking to the guard to distract him. Move along the ledge to your left at the top of the pipe to get all the way across to the other side of the building. Drop down into the alley via the ledge or the pipe then jump up to the ledge of

the very next building via the pipe behind you. Climb up the ledge from the outside then go below the ledge again from the other side. Sometimes there's an enemy here that you can take out using death from above, but it's not recommended as it will likely alert the guard standing nearby. Instead hang from the ledge on the other side and move across it all the way to the right until you can go no further. Drop down from here into the shadowed area. After that it's as simple as moving slowly to the right so you don't alert the guard behind the humvee, and you're home free after you pass the semi-truck where you'll reach a new checkpoint. Run down the right side of the street and jump up to the scaffolding where you see a ladder. Move slowly across it to the right and leap over the ledge. Hang from the ledge here and don't drop down yet. There will be one lone guard snooping around the area which you can take out silently without alerting the crowd or other guards. Move slowly below the scaffolding to stay hidden in shadow, then take him as a human shield when he has his back turned. Prior to doing any of this it's recommended that you mark as many targets in the area as you can, as you have to eliminate the enemies here to advance. After you execute 3-4 of them with a human shield you can easily keep moving forward while firing your pistol. If you lose your human shield just find some cover and take out the few remaining enemies on the other side of the blockade. After that run down the street towards the objective and the first half of the level will end with a cinematic. When you can take control of Sam again run to your right and take cover behind the security booth. From there move cover to cover to and from the plant structures until you reach the 4th one. Move forward on the left side of the cover spot towards the lone guard standing near the hummer and take him out with a hand to hand move. After that get behind some cover and shoot the gas tank on the truck in front of the gate twice to blow it up and take out a few enemies. After that there should be 3-4 enemies remaining which can be taken care of with the execution you just earned. Move cover to cover closer and closer until you're in a good position to take out at least 2-3 of them with the execution. Stay covered and shoot or melee the remainders. Once you get closer to the gate more enemies will approach so make good use of cover spots and your gadgets. When it's all said and done head through the two gates to the road leading to the White House. When you reach the objective spot take cover behind the light post structure to the right and in front of the hummer. Place a remote mine behind the hummer from here and wait for your enemies to come. There are about 4-5 of them so wait until they're all close to it before you detonate it. Sometimes it will take all of them out and sometimes it will leave 1 or 2 stragglers. You can move to the left and go around the stones and bushes to flank the remainders if need be. When they're all dead keep moving forward. Another wave of enemies will start advancing from up ahead once you reach the small booth on the right. Toss a remote or proximity mine up ahead to take care of at least one or two of them. Stay covered behind the soft barricade next to the booth and use mark and execute if you have it. Don't be ashamed to run backwards as well to cover yourself better should the situation arise. When they're all dead keep heading down the road towards your next objective. When you see a flare in the middle of a garden turn right. Run towards the truck you see then hop over the hedges from the left side (the game doesn't let you jump over the hedges right in front of the truck for some reason). You'll see about 4 enemies coming towards you hugging the front wall of the building. Toss a remote mine diagonally left so it sticks to the wall. Detonate it when there is an optimal amount of targets near it, and you should only have 1 more to deal with which can easily be taken down from where you're standing in shadow behind the tree. When you get them down head towards the side entrance in the garden where the enemies were coming from marked by your objective

arrow. When you reach it the level ends and you're on to the very last mission. XI. The White House =================== The cinematic will update you on what's going on inside the white house. When you take control of Sam again head left all the way down the hallway and silently cover yourself against the left side of the doorway. Throw a flashbang at the two guards you see then move in for the melee kills. Make sure you have executions before entering a new area of the white house, as most rooms start with quite a swarm of guards to deal with. Run into the next room and use the weapon stash on the floor to the right if need be, then head up the stairs. Cover yourself against the open door on the right side of the double door entrance, then move cover to cover to get behind the table on the right. Before you do that mark a few enemies using sonar. Take out a few enemies in this room with an execution before you move any further. Usually there will be a lone guard in the next room to the right who you can sneak up on. Be careful though because there are 3 enemies in the room right behind him. Mark the 3 enemies with your sonar then grab him as a human shield and move into the room with the execution ready. There are also chandeliers you can shoot down in this area if you need some extra help. When they're all down head into the next room through the doorway in the left corner. In here you'll see an enemy quickly close the double doors ahead of you. Run to the right corner through the doorway there. Then head to the far left corner of the next room and go through the doorway. This is where the Vice President is along with 4 guards protecting him. Mark and execute as many of the guards as you can and take out the rest while behind cover (you know the drill). You can also use the chandeliers to kill or distract them so make use of them if you must. When they're dead grab the Vice president with B to interrogate him. Now there will be a few enemies advancing on the location with explosives so stay hidden in the shadows. If you're looking straight ahead from behind the podium, go and stand in between the long table in front of you, and the round table on the left for a good starting position. Use your sonar goggles to mark the 3 enemies that will become visible from this spot. Use the execution you earned from the interrogation to take them out. From there a handful of more enemies will eventually come in. Stick a remote or proximity mine in front of the blown up door and detonate it as soon as the first set of enemies come rushing in. Use mines and grenades to deal with the rest of them, along with the traps above if you haven't already used them. The left side of the room has the most shadows for you to stay hidden in so I recommend flanking them from there. Once they're all dealt with head out of the room via the door that the first group blew up to get inside. When you reach the first table in front of you a flashbang will go off and a handful of enemies will try to take you down from the other side of the hall. Immediately toss either a flashbang or EMP grenade in between the two tables and quickly cover behind the first one. After it stuns your enemies Throw another one to the slight left of the farther table while running towards the right corner of the room at the same time. Take out any guard/s here then cover behind the right side of the table. Take out the remaining enemies how you see fit. Usually a well placed frag grenade works wonders in this spot. After they're dead head through the door on the right at the end of the room. The first half of the mission is complete and you're taken into a cinematic. When you take control of Sam again head through the doorway right in front of you, then turn left and head down the stairs. Be sure that you're crouched because there is a guard at the bottom of the stairs patrolling the hallway. Take him out with a hand to hand kill. Switch on your sonar goggles to find 5-6 enemies waiting for you in the kitchen. Mark as many of them as you can and take them out with an execution. Stay hidden and flank the rest until

they're dead. Once they are, head through the kitchen and past the door in the far right corner. In this short little hallway you'll see a weapon stash, so use it if you must. Cover yourself up against the wall right next to the weapon stash, then move to the next cover spot right in front of you. There is a turret patrolling at the end of this hallway, but as long as you use cover to cover you'll be mostly safe from it's fire. When you reach the cover spot at the end on the far right go cover to cover to the left of the doorway across the hall and you'll be in the clear. Move straight and along the right side of the wall in the next room until you get to the edge of it. Halfway through a flashbang will hit the screen and 4 enemies will enter the room from the doors on the other side. Mark and execute as many as you can, otherwise stay to the left of the room where there is plenty of shadow and cover spots ideal for flanking. If they don't spot you right away they'll think you're at the entrance of the room so taking them out from behind is easy. Head through one of the double doors on either side to get to the next area. Move to your right and you'll once again be confronted with the turret from the previous hallway. Stay covered and throw an explosive device behind the guard that is operating it (I recommend the sticky camera) and you'll be clear to head through the door that the guard was standing in front of. Head through the door on the other side of this room and turn right. Cover yourself up against the desk at the beginning of the room to start. When you reach the second desk a flashbang will hit the screen and 3 enemies will advance towards you. Mark them with your sonar goggles while staying covered behind one of the desks, then execute them. If you don't have an execution just stay behind cover and wait for them to move around so you can pick and choose your spots to eliminate them. A well placed mine or grenade will do the trick also, and feel free to use them since you're almost done with the game. Move past this room, make a left and continue moving forward. A few enemies will already be advancing in the next room, so cover yourself behind the wall or the desk barricade. Once you get near the long desk barricade in the front, a smoke grenade will hit the screen and a few more enemies will drop in from the ground. Toss a frag right at their feet as they land to take out a few of them, and disperse the others so you can stay hidden easier. The remainders can be easily dispatched through executions, straight gun fire, or gadgets. Move through the room and turn left at the exit. As you make your way down the next hallway a flashbang will hit the screen and you'll see a couple of enemies running to the left down past the end of the path. Run down to the end of the hall and turn left. Make another left at the end of this hallway, then cover yourself between the walls on the right and eventually the wall ahead of you which is to the left of the doorway leading to the room with about 5 hostiles wasting the white house security. If you have an execution, use it after marking your enemies with the goggles, otherwise it's best to use grenades or mines. When the room is clear head on through the door on the right, and go past this room to the hallway on the other side. Move down this path to the door at the end and get ready for the ending of the game. First you'll be taken into a cinematic where Grim escorts you to the oval office where Reed and the President are. Hold the control stick forward to keep the sequence going until you eventually reach the end. Sit through the cut scene until you're prompted to "Mark everyone." Mark each of the 5 operatives surrounding the president and Reed. Sit through Reed's babble until you're prompted to grab him. After that Grim and Sam will go into a dual execution wiping out all 5 of Reed's goons in one killer motion for an extreme adrenaline rush. From there you can choose to keep talking to Reed by bashing him, or just kill him. Eventually you will have to decide whether or not to let him live, but it's up to you. If you don't, Grim will kill him anyway so it doesn't affect the outcome any. Well that's it, you've successfully beaten the single player campaign of Splinter Cell Conviction. Congratulations and have fun with the rest of the game. (Be sure to watch the

credits for bonus conversations between Sam and Vic).

------------------------------6. P.E.C. Challenges ------------------------------Note: Each challenge completion can be earned on any level of any game mode and will carry over from all of them as it pretains to the specific gamer tag ================================== I2. Prepare and Execute Challenges ================================== Death From Above ---------------Neutralize an enemy using "Death From Above". This one is pretty simple. Just hang from a pipe or ledge and wait for an enemy to walk below you and press the left trigger button when prompted with the attack. 3 levels to complete, 30/30. Grab From Ledge --------------Neutralize an enemy using "Grab From Ledge". Another straight forward task. While hanging from a ledge just press B when an enemy gets close enough to you to throw them off. 3 levels to complete, 30/30 5x Predator ----------Neutralize 5 enemies in a row without being detected. The easiest this is to find a nice big shadow and start capping enemies using rifle with a scope. It's also fairly easy to just maneuver around taking down enemies with melee attacks one by one. It should also that you can string this together with 10x predator. 3 levels to complete, 15/15. Stealth Headshot ---------------Neutralize and enemy with a headshot without alerting other enemies. Easy enough to do, just make sure you take the shot while you're enemy is near a darkened area just be safe. 3 levels to complete, 50/50. Mark Proficiency ---------------Neutralize at least 2 enemies with a single Mark and Execute. If you're having trouble with this one then you're not playing the game right. Just mark two enemies with the right shoulder button, earn a mark and execute with a hand to hand kill, then press Y when the marked enemies are in range. It way to do a silenced shadows be noted

should be noted that even if you execute 4 enemies with one Mark and Execute, you'll still only earn 1/100 attempts for the challenge. 3 levels to complete, 100/100. 3x Frag Grenade --------------Neutralize 3 enemies at the same time with a single frag grenade. Pretty self explanatory. There are multiple areas of the campaign and deniable ops where this is a viable option. The best level to do it in however is the Michigan Ave. Reservoir. In the beginning of the level run and slide behind the first piece of cover and eventually make your way to the granite rock right behind the soldiers. After one of the guards starts talking simply throw a grenade in between the supply box ahead of you and the guard on the left. Most of the time this will take out the first 4 guards netting you a completion. The best part about it is that once you take out the 3-4 enemies, you can retry from your last checkpoint (which is the beginning of the level) and do it all over again. You can do it several times in just a few minutes, so this is the best way to complete this challenge quickly. Careful not to do it too much, as your Xbox will almost certainly freeze after a while. 3 levels to complete, 50/50. Remote Explosion ---------------Neutralize at least 3 enemies by detonating a remote explosion gadget. The strategy here is the same as the 3x Frag grenade, but is made easier given the fact that enemies don't notice the remote mine until you detonate it. 3 levels to complete, 50/50. Stunned ------Neutralize an enemy who is stunned by a flashbang or an EMP gadget. There are a couple of ways to approach this. You can either stun an enemy with one of the gadgets then shoot him down with a rifle, or you can mark a few enemies and execute them right after you set off your chosen device. It's actually faster to just stun one at a time then take them out however you want, because enemies don't stay stunned for long. You'll earn a completion for each individual enemy that you take out. 3 levels to complete, 50/50. Behind Closed Doors ------------------Use the mirror or snake camera to mark an enemy then neutralize him. You don't have to earn the execute before you open the door, you just have to mark them while looking from under the door. From there you can take out a separate enemy and then execute your targets to earn completions. You actually don't even have to use executions, you only have to neutralize them in any way after marking them from under the door, executions just make it faster. A fast way to do this is to go to Kobin's Mansion in the beginning. On the second floor to the right at the entrance there are 2 enemies behind a door to execute. You can earn the execute by taking out any of the 3 guards in the courtyard or the one roaming in the hallway prior to the main hall.

3 levels to complete, 50/50. Sonar Mark ---------Use the sonar goggles to mark an enemy then neutralize him. Press up on the D-pad to send a sonar signal out which will highlight all enemies within range of it's beacon. Any enemy you see can be marked. After that simply neutralize them any way that you choose. 3 levels to complete, 100/100. Shadow Takedown --------------Perform hand to hand takedowns in the shadows without alerting other enemies. This one is self explanatory, if you need help with it just email me. 3 levels to complete, 100/100. Sticky Camera Whistle --------------------Make noise with the sticky camera to attract an enemy and neutralize him. You don't necessarily have to detonate the sticky camera to earn a completion, but it is the easiest way to do it. Otherwise just make the noise with the camera then take him out any way that you want. Just make sure the guard is still deviated from his original patrol path before you kill him. 3 levels to complete, 15/15. ====================== II2. Vanish Challenges ====================== Vanish Silently --------------Once you are spotted, vanish without neutralizing any enemies. Basically just run up to an enemy so he detects you, then sprint like mad to the nearest shadow or cover spot without anyone seeing you. Pretty self-explanatory. 3 levels to complete, 15/15. Cat and Mouse ------------Perform a hand to hand takedown against an enemy who is investigating your last known position. This one is somewhat tricky at times. If you're hanging from a ledge and that becomes your last known position, you won't earn a completion if a guard is starring down at it for some reason. Not to mention most of the time enemies won't come investigating your last known position, they'll just stay at a distance and continue to shoot and bombard it. Make sure your last known position is still there, then take out an enemy who is walking towards it and it should count. One place that you can try is the 2nd area of the Mozdok Grounds in deniable ops. In the beginning of the area there is a hallway with a turret, and usually a lone guard. Let the guard or turret spot you then hang over the ledge and wait for someone to come looking for you. It's tough because like I mentioned before, most of the time the guards will wait for you instead of looking for you. I found the 3rd Echelon HQ level to

be very useful for this challenge as there are a lot of enemies but most of them will investigate by themselves. Email me if you have any questions about this one. 3 levels to complete, 15/15. Last Known Position ------------------Neutralize an enemy while standing at least 10 meters from your last known position. This one can be a pain also. Sometimes it's hard to gauge exactly how far you are from your last known position, but just to be safe you can sprint across the map if you want. If you're consciously trying to get this one done you'll usually have to shoot one enemy then run away again as your last known position will probably come up a second time. Make sure the outline of your last known position is still there before you take out an enemy. Taking out multiple enemies with explosives from a distance is a very good way to get this one done quick. 3 levels to complete, 50/50. Portable EMP Escape ------------------Use the portable EMP to vanish stun at least 3 enemies while escaping from a combat situation. You can do this anywhere in the game, but again the best place to do it quickly is the Michigan Ave. level. Just run into the fray, get detected, then trigger the portable EMP and hide in the gutter area to your left. You won't earn a completion until your last known position disappears and the enemies say something like "spread out and find the hostile." This works the same for the flashbang challenge as well. You can do it multiple times before having to retry the checkpoint. 3 levels to complete, 50/50. Flashbang Escape ---------------Use the flashbang to vanish escape from a combat situation. This is the same as the Portable EMP Escape, except you only have to stun one enemy then make them lose contact with you to earn a completion. Again, there are multiple parts of the game that you can easily do this, but Michigan Ave. is the fastest. 3 levels to complete, 15/15. EMP Grenade Stun ---------------Stun at least 3 enemies with a single EMP grenade. This might be the easiest challenge. You can use the same strategy as the 3x Frag Grenade challenge, except you can keep doing it until you run out of grenades. 3 levels to complete, 50/50. Choke Hold Freedom -----------------Free your team-mate from a choke hold in any Multilpayer game mode. During co-op or other multiplayer you'll sometimes get put into a choke hold by an

enemy that you were trying to kill with a melee attack. If you want to increase your chances of getting put into a choke hold, just make sure that your enemy detects you and then try to melee them from the front. Half the time it works, enabling your partner to free you from it in order to earn a completion. 3 levels to complete, 15/15. Reviving Team-mates ------------------Revive your team-mate in any Multiplayer game mode. When your partner gets killed in a multiplayer game they'll be paralyzed giving you the option to revive them by holding down A when you're near them. If you don't have anyone to play with but you have a second controller, this is pretty easy to manipulate on your own. Just have the character that you want to earn the points hide in a nearby shadow, then use the other controller to get the other player killed. 3 levels to complete, 15/15. ============================== III2. Splinter Cell Challenges ============================== Mark Mastery -----------Neutralize 4 enemies with a single Mark and Execute. It's easier than it sounds, but you can only do it with the Five-Seven pistol which is unlocked in the single player campaign. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Advanced Stealth ---------------Complete a level without being spotted and without retrying. This is somewhat challenging, but all you need to do is find the right level. I recommend the St. Petersburg level of Hunter Mode in Deniable Ops. It is a lot longer but it's the easiest place to remain undetected throughout. You can also try Whitebox Laboratories, Kobin's Mansion, Washington Monument, Price Airfield or the Downtown district. The other levels pretty much force you to be detected at some point or another. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Advanced Close Combat --------------------Complete a level without firing a single shot and without retrying. It's ok if you fire your gun with a melee kill, just don't manually fire off a shot. A level in Hunter Mode may still be the best option for this completion, but I managed to do it easily at Kobin's Mansion. 1 level to complete, 1/1. 10x Predator ------------

Neutralize 10 enemies in a row without being detected. Same as 5x Predator only you have to get 10 kills in a row without a single detection. Most people will likely complete this challenge by accident, but I'd say that 3rd Echelon is the best level to try and accomplish this. Either that or any level in Hunter Mode. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Assault Rifle Marksman ---------------------Neutralize 15 enemies with a single magazine using an assault rifle without reloading. My best gun to try this was the M468, but you can use any gun in the assault rifle category including the AK-47 which has a scope once you upgrade it so that may be the best option for most people. You don't have to kill the 15 enemies without missing a shot, just don't reload until you've killed the 15th one. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Pistol Marksman --------------Neutralize 10 enemies with a single magazine using a pistol without reloading. Same as the Rifle Marksman challenge just with a pistol. I would recommend using the Five-Seven or another pistol with a high ammo capacity. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Collateral Damage ----------------Take an enemy into human shield and bash him against a wooden door to shatter it. Take a human shield by closing in on an enemy and holding down B. From there move him right up next to a wooden door and press B while moving towards it. Simple as that. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Human Collision --------------Knock an enemy down by throwing another enemy onto him. First take a human shield, then press B while moving towards another target to throw him at the other enemy. Make sure he's in range first. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Deadly Fall ----------Throw an enemy so he falls 10 or more meters. Use the grab from ledge technique to throw an enemy from a balcony so he falls at least 10 meters down. There are numerous areas of the game to complete this challenge and most people will probably pull it off by accident. A good place to go for it if you don't have it is White Box Labs as there are many outside ledges to hang from that fall way more than 10 meters down. 1 level to complete, 1/1.

Environmental Hazard -------------------Neutralize 3 enemies using a single trap or explosive. This one is obvious but the best way to complete it quick is to shoot the chandelier in the main hall at the beginning of Kobin's mansion, as there are always 3 enemies standing under it when you start the level. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Security Device Diversion ------------------------Attract an enemy by disabling a security device, then neutralize him. The easiest way to get this one is to shoot one of the lit up cameras in the parking level of the 3rd Echelon mission. You can also disable a device with an EMP gadget. Again make sure the guard is deviated from his original patrol path before you take him out. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Car Alarm Investigation ----------------------Neutralize an enemy while his is investigating a car alarm. You can do this right in the beginning of Kobin's Mansion in the streets, or in the parking level of 3rd Echelon HQ. Press B near a car to activate the alarm, then take out the enemy that goes to investigate it. Just make sure the guard is deviated from his normal patrol path before you take him out. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Human Kevlar -----------Mark and execute 3 enemies while holding a human shield. You can mark the 3 enemies that you want to execute prior to earning the execution by taking the human shield. Pretty simple. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Group Neutralization -------------------Neutralize 3 enemies who are stunned by a single gadget. The easiest way to do this is to earn an execution, mark 3 enemies in range, then stun them all with the portable EMP right before you execute them. You can also stun them and toss a quick explosive device. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Alternate Door Entry -------------------Crush an enemy on the other side of a door by bashing into it or kicking it down. There are several areas of the game where you can do this. I specifically remember the 3rd area of the St. Petersburg map in Hunter mode having an enemy patrol right near the double doors at the beginning of the level. Make sure the enemy is RIGHT next to the door before you bash it in. Use your sonar goggles just in case.

1 level to complete, 1/1. Breaking Glass -------------Shatter a window by throwing an enemy through it. It should be noted that this only works if you throw them out of a small window, not a large one like the ones found in the beginning of the first area of Mozdok Grounds. You can get this one done easily near the end of Kobin's Mansion. Right before the double doors leading to Kobin himself there are a couple of windows in that room along with usually 2 enemies to use as victims. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Effective Interrogation ----------------------Use 3 different special moves during a single interrogation. All you have to do is mix up the structures in which you choose to bash your enemy against. You can also simply punch the crap out of them by standing in the middle of the room and pressing B. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Full Recovery ------------In any COOP game mode, when you are knocked down, sit up and neutralize 5 enemies before your team-mate revives you. Your team-mate doesn't actually have to revive you in order to earn this one. The best way to do it is to get yourself surrounded by a handful of enemies then get killed. Sit up by pressing A and quickly take out 5 enemies. It's somewhat challenging, but if you die while holding a rifle you can use it when you sit up. 1 level to complete, 1/1. Remain Undetected ----------------Remain undetected for 10 minutes after vanishing. This one is easy as all you have to do is sit in one shadow ridden spot for 10 minutes. If you're having trouble with it here's one thing you can do. Go to the 3rd Echelon mission and get to about the halfway mark just a little while after infiltrating security. There is an area with a series of desks down two hallways separated by a glass surrounded server room. Next to the moving camera with the spotlight there is a clear structure for you to cover up against. Near that is a low ceiling in which you can climb up and hide where no one will ever find you. Just make sure you get detected first, then stay hidden after that. 1 level to complete, 1/1.

------------------------7. Deniable Ops ------------------------When playing Deniable Ops the strategies differ from map to map and the number of enemies in a given area along with their starting positions is randomly

generated, and thus different every time. Any gun or gadget used in the single player campaign can be used in any of the deniable ops or multiplayer game modes. However, you're only allowed 2 types of gadgets on top of the portable EMP which the game forces you to take. You can upgrade your outfit to carry more gadgets, increase armor quality, or increase the number of magazines you can carry with your rifle by purchasing upgrades in the lobby with points you've earned from P.E.C. Challenges. You'll get to play as either Archer the American, or Kestrel the Russian, both working for 3rd Echelon. All 6 maps are playable in any game mode, but will vary based on which one you're playing. In this section I'll provide a few generic tips on how to complete each mode, along with detailed walkthroughs for Hunter and Co-Op story modes. =============== I3. Hunter Mode =============== Hunter mode pits you against 10 starting enemies in which you need to neutralize by any means necessary. Your 3rd Echelon operator advises discretion as reinforcements will arrive if you're detected. If you get detected you'll generally have to deal with twice the amount of enemies that are currently still alive. You can go rambo if you want but it will take longer obviously. Stick to the provided shadows and shoot lights to create more and you'll have the level complete in no time. In each map there are 5 areas with 10 enemies in each to clear before you can call your misson a success. Most of the maps have 5 zones, but the Yastreb Complex has 6, and the Mozdok Grounds has 8 while the newest map Third Echelon has only 3. (Walkthrough) This walkthrough for each level of Hunter game mode is intended for a single player but can be used for co-op as well. The strategies provided are based on a full blown stealth approach mostly due to the attempt at avoiding reinforcements. Stealth is recommended for this reason, but not manditory. Most of the content in this section is fairly generalized due to the random generation of enemy position each time you load one of the maps. Remember that you can't move bodies once you've killed them so be careful where you neutralize them. If another guard spots a body it won't make for reinforcements, but any nearby enemies will be slightly more alert. I WROTE THIS WALKTHROUGH WHILE PLAYING THROUGH REALISTIC DIFFICULTY. THE OTHER TWO DIFFICULTIES MAY VARY. Recommended Equipment - Pistol: Five-Seven Alternate Weapon: MP5-SD3 or SPAS-12 Primary Gadget: Sticky camera Secondary Gadget: Flashbang Uniform: (personal preferance) Uniform Upgrades: 2x armor proficiency, 1x gadget capacity A1. St. Petersburg Banya ----------------------(Zone 1) Start by heading left through the gate ahead of you and into the courtyard in front of the building while sticking to shadows. There will be 2 or 3 guards in the courtyard talking in front of a hacienda looking structure in the middle. Stay hidden in shadow and wait for one of them to move towards the gate overlooking the river on the left. Take him down when he's all by himself. The other guards will likely disperse to the left and right sides of the front of the building, so a couple of well placed head

shots are recommended. When it's clear go in through the front double doors or climb up the pipe to the left. If you use the pipe you can probably throw the guard in room above out of the window from the ledge, otherwise follow the instructions below. Turn right into the hallway and head up the stairs. There may or may not be a lone guard patrolling this hallway before the doors on top of the stairs, so click off the lights with the switch on the right side of the wall right after you go through the double doors through the courtyard. Turn off the light switch to the left of the door at the top of the stairs and enter the next room. There is always at least one guard patrolling here and usually by the windows on the left. Take him out however you like, and be aware that there may be another guard in the hallway right in front of you. From there you can either approach the next area of the zone from up the stairs you see on the left, or the main hall entrance on the same floor directly in front of you. At the top of the stairs make a right and take out the guard here if there is one. From there go cover to cover straight ahead behind the box in front of you, then to the shadow spot to the left of the turret control panel. Look to your right and shoot the guard in the head if there is one there (usually there is), then shoot the guard that is standing near the rail ahead of you on the opposite side of the hall. There is usually one guard moving around the circle pathway that overlooks the main area in the middle, so take him out quietly and however you please. Make use of hanging on the outside of the various ledges in this room, stick to shadows and executions to take out the rest of the group. Sometimes there is one or two enemies on the rear stairwell leading up to an office in the far right corner. Also be mindful of the turret with a patroling spotlight which is moving left and right through the main circular area in the middle. When all 10 enemies are dead, head to the next zone by following the double arrows you see on your screen. (Zone 2) Use the weapon stash if you must, then head left through the locker room up to the double doors. Use your sonar goggles to spot any enemies in the area, then head on through. Stick to the right side of the room as it is completely cloaked in shadow. Hop up on the pipe above you when you see it, then shimmy you way forward. If there is a lone guard in the first area be careful about hiding on the pipe because he can sometimes spot you as he's moving below you. If that happens just take him out quickly with death from above as long as no one else can see you which they shouldn't be able to. Most of the time there are two guards in the next room through the doorway in the right corner, and one guard somewhere to the left of them in an adjacent room. Make use of your sonar goggles and the multiple pipes provided in the hallways. When you reach the last hallway of the area, hop up onto the pipe and look to your right with your sonar goggles. Usually there are 2 enemies hanging around in the courtyard which you can execute from the pipe if you have one. Otherwise just use cover to cover and shadow spots as needed. There's usually a 3rd guard on the right side the room with the kitchen beyond the courtyard so be mindful of where you're at. At the end of the courtyard turn left and position yourself in front of the double doors that you see. Use the sonar goggles to spot the number of enemies in that room then take them out. Careful when entering this room if there's an enemy to the immediate right or left of the doors. When they're all dead head to the next zone behind the double doors past the kitchen. (Zone 3) Use the weapon stash if you need to then turn right at the end of the hallway. There's always one guard patrolling around the alcove here, so take him out

quietly. I recommend taking him as a human shield, then snapping his neck in the room you just came from. When he's dead make a left and stand near to the pillar that he was circling near. Use your sonar goggles to pinpoint the number of enemies remaining in the building, which will be either 2 or 4. Mark as many as you can and take them out when they're all in range. There is plenty of shadow in this room so make use of it. When they're all dead head out the building through the door on the left side of the bottom floor. Turn left out here and cover behind the crates on your right side. Use the sonar goggles to see how many enemies are in the courtyard, then take them out individually using shadow spots etc. There is a pipe on the left side of the building you can use to shimmy across the ledges thereafter. You can also jump to the top of the hasienda structure in the middle and use it to pick off enemies in the head. There's usually 3 enemies in the courtyard and the remaining being inside the building on the other side of it. Usually there are 2 enemies on the first floor, and 2 on the second. You almost have to have an execution for the enemies on the first floor, but you can also hop up the pipe on the left side of the building and infiltrate from the windows up there. When they're all dead head to the next zone through the double doors on the first floor of the building on the other side of the courtyard. (Zone 4) Shoot the light above the hallway right in front of the double doors at the end. One or two guards will react to the noise but nothing will happen. Use your sonar goggles to spot the number of enemies in the immediate hallway beyond the doors. Don't bash the door in to kill the first patrolling guard because it WILL get reinforcements called in. Instead open the door regularly and quickly move to the cover spot on the wall left of the stack of barrels you see on your right. Wait for the guard to pass you then take him out in the shadowed spot. Usually there is one or two more guards patrolling the hallway behind you. You are safe to shoot the lights in the area just make sure you don't miss because you'll likely trigger an alert if an enemy is close enough. There are usually 3 guards patrolling the rest of the top floor near you, but ignore them for now. Head down the rear staircase on the left of the hallway you're in and shoot out any lights if you need to. Hide in the corner of this room behind the wooden box and mark any first floor enemies you see with your sonar goggles. Use discretion and timing when moving into the bar room because there aren't many shadows here, but there is plenty to cover behind. Take the lone guard out by moving him as a human shield back to the corner where you were hiding and kill him there. If there's another guard around use the cover spot to the right of the bar behind the pillar and take him out when you have the chance. Move around the ride side of the room and keep following the path past the performers stage to avoid being seen by the guards on top. Cover yourself behind the lounge to the right of the stage and time yourself right to kill any guards that are remaining on the first floor. There are two doors to go through on the side of the hallway on the other end of the lounge so make use of your options. When they're dead back track your way to the performer stage. When looking at the stage, turn around and look for a staircase leading to the 2nd floor in the corner on your left. Jump up the ledge you see on the other side and move silently into the room on your left to take out the lone enemy guarding the office. Now make your way all the way back to the beginning of the zone by way of the first floor so you don't get spotted. You should have an execution so use it against the remaining 2-3 enemies who are still patrolling over the balcony looking down on the performance stage. You can approach them however you wish but any other method will probably force you to shoot out lights risking alerts, so I recommend backtracking via the first floor. Once they're all dead procede to the next zone through the hallway at the end of the first floor.

(Zone 5) Use the weapon stash if you need to then head through the door. There should be two guards chatting somewhere in the next room, along with sometimes a 3rd looking down from one of the surrounding windows. Jump up the pillar you see in front of you on the left and hang from the ledge. Shoot your targets from here if you can otherwise move around the shadows or another ledge or however you want to do it. When they're dead head through the door at the top of the corner staircase on the right side of the room. Turn left and jump over the pipe between the wall and the heater. Stick to the left of the room and be aware that there may be a guard looking in your direction from the other side of the adjacent hallway. Keep moving forward and turn left when you have to into the main hall. Jump up the pipe here and use it to take out any guards nearby (usually there's a guard standing in front of the door at the end of the hall). When it's clear head through the single door that the enemy was guarding (if there was one). Turn left and cover yourself up against the shadow spot near the fence. Take out the enemy in this room (if there is one) however you want. Shoot out the lights in the room then go through the door on the end, but be careful about enemy flashlights beacuse shooting out the lights will probably attract attention by one or more enemies in the parking lot on the left. Once inside the parking lot be wary of the turret with the light and use whatever cover you can find to take out the rest of the enemies. I recommend hoping to the top of the white semi that's parked in the corner to your immediate left and picking off enemies from there. It's also a good spot to hide if you trigger an alert and have to deal with reinforcements. When they're all dead you'll be sent back to the lobby and you're done. B1. Russian Embassy -----------------(Zone 1) Move to the ledge you see in front of you beyond the plant display at the bottom of the stairs on your left. Hop over the ledge and take out the lone enemy here by moving him into shadow first. Sometimes there are 2 guards patrolling the immediate area so use caution and any method you choose. Now hop back over the ledge and head up the stairs to the shadow on the other side of the thin structure that stretches across the right side for about 8 meters. You can climb to the top and hang from this structure and use it to move around the area. Usually there is one guard by himself in front of the structure on the end. Stand on the stairs in front of you and get a feel for the surrounding guard's patrol paths. Take them out one by one using shadow, cover, and jumping to the top of some of the structures to pick them off with a gun. There is always an enemy at the top of the series of climbable structures on the right, so take him out with a grab from ledge move. Just make sure there are no guards below you when you do it. From there you can move along the structure and position yourself at the top to take out the rest of the enemies. Use your sonar goggles and stick to the shadows and you'll have it done in no time. When they're all dead head to the next zone behind the middle of the area at the top of the stairs. Follow the double arrows if you are lost. (Zone 2) Use the weapon stash if you need to, then head left at the end of the hallway and through the door. Go through the door on the right of this room, but not before turning off the light switch next to it. Normally there's one guard patrolling the first section of this hallway, so take him out when he has his

back turned. A second guard will likely be patrolling the hallway on the left, so cover yourself against the wall and pinpoint him with the sonar goggles. Shoot the light above the hallway on the ceiling and it should attract him. Shoot him in the head when you have a clear sight of him. Move through the hallway and turn left making your way through the rooms ahead. Make sure you stay hidden and use your goggles to keep track of any other enemies on this floor (typically only one or two). Careful about shooting lights too as it may attract a guard who is patrolling the bottom area. When they're taken care of head down the stairs on the opposite side (or the ledge) and cover yourself somewhere on the bottom floor. There's normally 2 guards in the lobby so hug the edges of the wall on the right (which has plenty of shadow) and eliminate them however you please. Avoid shooting down the light fixture on the ceiling because it will trigger an alert. Be aware of a potential guard standing in the next room through the large hallway on the left. It's very far away but if you're not hidden he will spot you if you give him enough time to. Look up at the office in the left corner of the room. There is always a guard patrolling between this room and the hallway to the right of it on the second floor. Jump up to the ledge below the room and wait for the right time to take him out. Shoot the light above the room from the ledge if you have to. When he's dead move past the series of couches and go through the door on the left, but be cautious because there are a few guards in the next area. Actually it's better to just turn the lights off in the room that you are in then leap over the large opening to the left of the door. Mark the enemies you can see from the catwalk with your gogggles or otherwise, then execute them (if you have an execution, which you should). You can shoot any guards rummaging around the bottom floor from where you are, just make sure you don't miss. There's usually a guard or two in the control room on the other side of the catwalk so be careful moving forward. Move across the catwalk and enter the door on the otherside. Take out the enemy in the room then head through the opposite door. When they're all dead, hop over the ledge, drop down to the floor then head through the door on the other side of the hallway to the right to proceed to the next zone. (Zone 3) Use the weapon stash if you need to, then head through the door to the right of the staircase on the bottom floor. Shoot the light on the left before moving past the door. Leap over the ledge to the left of the plant structure in front of you and cover yourself here. Wait for the guard patrolling the bottom area to turn his back then take him out however you want. Careful that the guards above you on the catwalks don't see you. Shoot out the surrounding lights to help if you must, just be aware that enemies will start using their flashlights if they are alerted. This area typically has about 6 enemies to deal with between the first and second floor. Use the provided ledges to your advantage to throw them off the 2nd floor and stay hidden as you take out the rest in your own personal fashion. Shoot the bulb lights if you must and if you have an execution try to use it from a ledge to stay hidden. When the enemies in this area are done head to the next area through the opening in the far right corner on the first floor. From this spot you can cover yourself behind pillars to take along the stretch to your right. Usually there's one or two ledges right above which you can easily jump up to. You can ledge in front of you and move along the top balconies with any case, head through the double doors in the alcove above very end of the area to proceed to the next zone (Zone 4) out the enemies near one of the also jump up the provided cover. In the stairs on the

Use the weapon stash if needed then head up to the double doors on the left side of the end of the hallway. Turn off the lightswitch next to the doors and head on through. There is usually 1-2 enemies on the left side (sometimes talking so wait for them to disperse to move on them) and one enemy either standing still or patrolling the left side of the top area. Take them out quietly then head over to right above the staircase leading down on the left side of the room. Shoot the lights on the ceiling directly above the stairs to cover yourself while moving down. When the coast is clear head up to the statue in front of you then hang a right and move into the corner. You can also jump up to the ledge above the wall to make it easier. Chill in the corner here and pinpoint your targets with your goggles. Most of the time there will be one guard patrolling back and forth and all around the whole left side of the room, so he's easy to take out when he turns around. When looking around the wall as you're covered up against the corner you'll notice a spotlight moving from left to right mounted on a turret. Avoid it at all costs. Take advantage of cover to cover when moving away from the corner spot. Be careful when you turn the corner towards the next room as there may be a guard around the right side. You can't see him with your sonar goggles from the previous corner spot so make sure you peek around that corner before you go moving in. When everyone around here is dead head into the corner just beyond the left of the turret's spotlight in front of the double doors. Before entering the double doors shoot the lights surrounding the area to help cover yourself. Mark the enemies in the next room with your goggles and execute them while in shadow as soon as they're in range. If you need to earn yourself an execution jump up to the ledge above one of the pillars to the left or right as you enter the room and wait for one of the enemies to come near by himself and use death from above. There's also decent cover around the edges of both sides of the room. On the left you can leap over the counter and hide in the lower corner. When they're all dead head through one of the double doors on the north side of the room and proceed to the next zone. (Zone 5) Use the weapon stash if need be then head up to the double doors on the top of the stairs after turning right past the hallway. Sometimes there is one enemy right on the other side so use your goggles just to make sure. Head left through the shadows and hide yourself somewhere to recon the remaining unfriendlies in the area. Use the available cover and don't forget about the ledge all the way on the left which can come in very handy. There is a turret mounted on the corner of the right side wall. The spotlight on it has a fairly high degree of rotation so make sure you are aware of it. When the area is clear head down the dark path to the left of the turret. Move past the open hallway and hop over the ledge to the right of it. Use it to move along the pathway and grab any nearby enemies to throw them off and take them out. Normally there's only one enemy near here, but sometimes a second one in the area after the hallway. When you're done with them jump up to the ledge on the other side that has a large air conditioner like machine on top of it. Hop over the fence to the right of the machine and sit in the corner here while you recon the area. Move through the fan and duct structures and take out the enemies around you. Usually there's 3-4 enemies here, but sometimes only 2. After they're dead make a right at the intersection at the end of the walkway. Run all the way to the end and hop over the ledge. Shimmy your way across the gap to the left and proceed forward. By now there are probably only 2-3 enemies remaining (sometimes 4-5) and they're easy to take out. There's plenty of shadow, ledges and cover spots so just take your time. When they're all dead you're done with the level and taken back to the lobby. C1. Yastreb Complex ------------------

(Zone 1) Head up to the end of the tunnel and crouch behind the opening on the right. Normally there are 2-3 enemies in front of the train talking so wait for them to disperse. When the coast is clear jump over the opening and run to the right of the train to cover yourself in the shadow spot here. Climb over the small metal wall and use this shadow spot for recon. Mark as many enemies as you can to help keep track of them. Right in front of you is a spot with two pillars that you can climb along with plenty of shadow. Most of the time there will be two enemies walking around the area with the pillars, so isolate one of them to earn an execution. From there it should be easy to pick off 3-4 enemies around you with the execution, then jump back up to one of the ledges to cover yourself again. Move to the left side of the room and take out the guard looking down from the window on your right (If he's there). Use a silenced gun or wait till it's clear and hop up to the window to use a hand to hand kill. Don't forget about any stragglers you may have missed in front of the train as well. When they're all dead head to the next zone through the door on the second floor on the left. (Zone 2) Use the weapon stash if you need it, then head through the door at the top of the stairs. Hang a left, then a right past the metal detectors. Jump over the desk to the right of the metal detectors so you don't trigger an alert. There's usually one guard by himself either in the hallway before them, or right after. The work space in the middle of the next room typically has a guard in it, or patrolling around it. Also be careful of a guard patrolling in and out of the room from the left (only half the time or so). Before going left, look through the small gate that's covering the doorway in front of you and take out any guards who may be standing in the hall. After that move to the area to the left of the desk behind you. In the next stretch there is a large series of cubicles to sift through and pinpoint your enemies. Where they will be is very hard to even generalize in this situation, so just walk softly and use cover and discretion. Eventually you'll end up going all the way around to the hallway where you were shooting behind the black gate covering one of the doorways. Proceed to the next zone when you're done. (Zone 3) Head through the double doors and hang a left down the hallway. Usually there's one guard standing near the end, or in the right corner as soon as you enter the area. Take him down then head through the double doors at the end of this hall. Open the door and look up. Shoot the light on the ceiling then quickly leap over the ledge and hang here. There are going to be clusters of enemies below you so don't do anything stupid. Mark and execute as many of them as you can then shimmy your way across the ledge to another spot to hide yourself. The rest of the enemies here are easy to take out given the number of shadows and cover spots on the bottom floor. Take out the enemies on the second floor first with hand to hand kills, then execute the enemies on the first floor. When they're dead head to the next zone through the double doors at the end of the left side of the first floor. (Zone 4) Use the stash if you need to, then head through the hallway into a room with 3 large pillars on the left. Go cover to cover between them and be aware that there may be one guard in the room at the end. Take him out and hop over the desk to the left of the metal detectors. Typically there is one or two enemies in the large hallway ahead of you. Take them out then make a right into the

doorway and left up the stairs. Shoot the light on the wall to your left then use your goggles to recon the area up ahead. Usually there's one guard that will patrol left and right on the other side of the doorway at the top of the stairs. The area ahead is a massive library with anywhere from 5 to 7 enemies lurking. Pick them off one by one by hanging from the several ledges, sticking to the shadows and being descrete. You can even hop up some of the bookshelves on the second floor, so use them if you need to hide. When they're all dead head to the next zone beyond the doorway in the left corner of the first floor. (Zone 5) Use the stash if you need it, then head down the stairs into the open lot. There's usually 2-3 enemies in the first area who have a conversation in the middle room to the left. Move across the shadow in front of you towards the wooden box near the wall. Leap over the box when the coast is clear, then over the supply crate to the left of the two stacked up on each other. From here you can recon and take out enemies as you please. There is a storage room through the double doors on the left side of the area, typically with 1-2 enemies occupying it. When that area is clear, head through double door opening that's behind all of the supply boxes in the right corner of the room. Take out the lone guard here if there is one, then shoot the light on the right to attract any guards on the other side of the room, then kill them. When the light is busted, hop over the fence to the right of it and cover yourself behind the corner on the left, right in front of you. Wait for the turret light to move all the way to the left, then sprint up the stairs, hang a left and and take cover behind the wall structure on the right. Use your goggles to pinpoint the remaining enemies, then mark them to keep track of them. If you have a scoped weapon use it to take out the guard on the catwalk ahead of you. When the turret light on the 3rd floor starts moving to the left, sprint up the next set of stairs then quickly turn left and cover yourself behind the blanketed boxes on your left in front of the rail. After the turret light passes you going the other way, sprint up the next set of stairs and cover yourself in the closest shadow spot you can find. From here you should be able to take down the rest of the enemies with an execution. There is always one in the tower in the middle of the room next to the turrets, and typically 2 more surrounding him on the catwalks. After they are all dead proceed to the next zone in one of the corners of the top area. (Zone 6) Use the stash if you need to, then proceed to the garage like area beyond the hallway. Turn right and jump over the box on the forklift. Find a nice cover spot and quickly recon the area with your goggles. Usually there will be 1-2 enemies moving around the booth at the top of the stairs in the corner, and one patrolling your area on the bottom. When they're taken care of head to the next area through the tunnel on the bottom. Shoot out the two lights you see at the end of the tunnel to cover yourself, then move in behind cover to take out any guards in the area. There's also some supply shelves you can climb up to hide yourself, so don't forget about those as well. When it's clear head up the staircase in the far right corner of the room. Move through the room to the bottom of the stairs on the other side and cover yourself near the wall on the left. Usually there are 2-3 enemies right there so be careful. Take one of them as a human shield if he has his back turned to you, then execute the other two after you mark them. Shooting out the light in the hallway before entering the doorway on the left is a good idea, just remember that it will attract attention. Turn right and head through the narrow tunnel while sticking to cover and wiping out enemies as you go. The remaining 3-4 enemies will be wandering

around the large room at the end of the tunnel. Most of the lights in the area are unbreakable, so be extra cautious in your approach. When they're all dead the level is complete and you'll be sent back to the lobby. D1. Mozdok Grounds -----------------(Zone 1) Jump up to the semi right in front of you and recon the area from here. Usually there is one enemy right below the truck on the left side, and one more in the computer room on the 2nd floor at the end of the area. Use Death from above if applicable on the first enemy, then grab the 2nd one from the ledge and throw him out of the open window (if he's there). Now take a right inside the computer room and go through the door. Leap over the ledge on your right and get a feel of where the enemies are from the shadow spot below you. Typically there are 2 enemies to dispatch of in this room on the first floor. Move around the shadows and inbetween the crates on the supply shelves to take them out silently. Jump to the ledge at the top of the long panel leading from the top to the ground, and use the adjacent ledge to take out the guard patrolling the walkway. Take out any other guards in the server room or otherwise, then head through the door on the left side of the server room. There's usually 3 enemies standing below the blue cargo load attached to the crane above the middle of the room. Don't shoot it down unless you want more enemies to deal with. Instead head down the stairs on the right after exiting the server room, and find a shadow spot to the right of the stairs to your left on the first floor. From here move around the tank room with all of the provided cover and pick off the remaining enemies one by one. If you have a scoped rifle you can easily pick them off from the catwalk on the opposite side of the room under shadow. When they're all dead head to the far upper left corner of the room to proceed to the next zone. (Zone 2) Get what you need from the stash, head through the doorway, make a left after the fence and cover yourself against the wall on the left in this hallway. Move up to the edge then hop up to the pipe above you when the coast is clear. Move along the pipe to the end and drop down into the shadow spot. The position of the guard here will vary but usually you can toss him over one of the ledges or get a death from above when you drop from the pipe. Make sure the turret in the middle of the hallway on the right doesn't spot you, then leap over the right side ledge and position yourself above the hole in the ceiling. From here use your goggles and recon the area. Mark and execute any enemies that you want, just make sure other enemies don't see you or the position of your bullets. Usually you can perform a death from above on an enemy who is standing below the ceiling on the catwalk to the right. After that you need to move your way around the catwalks while descending towards the next area. Be mindful of the turrets on the 3rd and 2nd levels and try to stay on the outside of the provided ledges under shadow. When everyone is dead head to the next zone at the bottom of the catwalks. (Zone 3) Use the stash if necessary, then head through the next area. There is usually only one enemy here (sometimes two) so use the pipes above you and provided shadows and wait for the opportunity to strike. When it's clear jump over the ledge at the end of the left side of the room, and crouch down through the opening to get to the ladder on the left. Climb the ladder

and move along the ledge on the right side. If there's a guard patrolling nearby grab him and throw him down, otherwise climb up and use your goggles for a little recon. There is always one guard in the room you're in, and usually one in the computer room above you. Take them out and head through the door on the right side of the computer room. Turn left, then right and through the door here. Use your goggles and mark any enemies in the area here. An execution is obviously ideal, otherwise just pick and choose each target while staying hidden. Be sure not to shoot or jump through the glass, as it will probably trigger an alert. There's usually two guards in the room right in front of you, and another patrolling the hallway on your right. After that there is typically one or two more enemies on the other side of the hallway patrolling around some double doors. If you need a good spot to see everything there is a glass structure between the bottom hallway and the double doors at the end where no one can see you. When they're all dead head towards those double doors. Upon entering this dome like room, turn left and hug the thin shadow line along the wall. Mark and execute any enemies on the first floor to take care of them, otherwise headshot them while in shadow spots. Head up the stairwell through the first doorway on the left side and go up as high as you can. From the top floor you can see everyone and pick them off with a scoped rifle. If you're not using one then pick them apart one by one with melee kills. If you trigger an alert here you'll probably have to back track a ways towards the beginning of the zone, so be careful. When they're all dead head to the next zone through the door on the right side of the dome like room. (Zone 4) Note: Only 8 enemies to eliminate here, but it's followed by several simlar zones) Look to your right and jump up to the ledge above the supply rack. If you have an execution go ahead and use it from here. After that hop up to the catwalk and take out the lone guard there. Take out the rest of the group while hiding behind a barricade on a ledge and using headshots. There will be either 1 or 2 remaining enemies in the silo like room next door. Take the doorway on the right side on the bottom floor and locate them with your goggles. When you're done head to the left corner of the room and go to the next zone by using the control panel on the right. (Zone 5) Turn right after opening the door then cover yourself against the large box on the left at the end of the hallway. Mark and execute as many enemies as you can from here. If you don't have an execution, jump on to the box that you're covering against then up to the ledge above you. Take the guard in the corner as a human shield, then peek down to the first floor and execute as many enemies as you can. Snap the human shields' neck in the corner, then proceed to take out the remaining enemies however you wish. Usually there are 1 or 2 on the catwalk opposite of you, and 1 or 2 on the metal grid floor in the next room. Get there by going through the doorway in the left corner of the second floor. When they're all dead use the control panel at the end to open the door to the next zone. (Zone 6) Turn right and cover yourself against the wall on the left. Use a scoped rifle to shoot the enemy looking down from the second floor opposite of you (if he's there). Then backtrack to the previous zone and cover yourself against the wall next to the door panel and wait for the other enemies to scury their way around. Wait for them to give up and continue their search then pick them off one at a time. Wait for an opening then jump up to the

ledge above the staircase on the left. From there move to the corner on your right that is covered in shadow. Cover yourself here and take out any targets that you can. Jump up to the ledge above you and use the available shadow to finish the job. Another strategy is to move to the far right corner of the bottom floor and use the pipe to move up and shoot targets from there. When they're all dead head to the next zone via the top of the staircase on the far left corner of the top floor. (Zone 7) Note: If you die here you'll have to retry starting from Zone 6 Open the door using the panel then head right and cover yourself against the wall on the left. Hug up to the edge, then mark and execute the two enemies on the first floor (or however many there are). If you don't have an execution then just headshot them but be accurate. Now look up to the 2nd floor and snipe any single enemy who wanders off by himself. This will get the attention of all the other enemies, so head back outside the zone, cover yourself and wait for the right time to move back in. If you have the opportunity, jump up to the ledge above the staircase, hop over and cover yourself. After that move to your character's right and hop up the second ledge and use it to pick a few enemies off. When they're all dead head to the next zone through the doorway below the top floor on the far right corner. (Zone 8) Use the stash if you need to then head all the way down the long hall up to the double doors at the end. Use your sonar goggles and see if there is a lone enemy nearby. Open the door on the left then move in for the kill. If he is standing close to the doors he will see you if you use the one on the right so be careful. Head towards the middle of the map and cover yourself behind something. Use your goggles for some recon, then mark and execute the few enemies wandering around the courtyard. Be very careful of the camera with the light that's fixated on top of the wall to the very far right corner. It can spot you from VERY far away somehow, so make sure you're not in it's path if you decide to come out of cover for a gunshot. There's an opening in the floor to the left with a tunnel that you can use to move around, so take advantage of it if you want. Usually there is one guard on a catwalk to the left overlooking the site, which can be taken care of easily with a scoped rifle or a throw over the ledge move. You can reach him by going up the staircase in the far left corner of the map. Typically there are 6 or so enemies in the main yard, with 3-4 inside the building on the opposite side. There are plenty of cover and shadow spots so there's no need to rush things. If you're down to just one more enemy and for the life of you can't find him, check the tunnel underneath through the hole on the left side because he's usually there. Once they're dead the level is complete and you're back to the lobby. E1. Limber Mill -------------(Zone 1) From the get go you'll be surrounded by enemies. Isolate on of them and take them down with a hand to hand kill. Mark and execute a few enemies who are on the right side of the yard, then move through the shadows on the left side while remaining enemies investigate. Stick to the shadows and utilize the ledges above the wood piles to flank your enemies. As you're moving around the edge of the left side be aware of a potential enemy looking down on the yard from a catwalk in front of the building. When they're all dead head to the right side of the catwalk on the building then turn left to get to the next zone. (Zone 2)

Use your stash if you want then make a right after the stairs and through the door at the end. There is always just one enemy hanging around the storage room here, so take him out with a hand to hand kill and earn an execution. Now head through the door on the left after turning off the lightswitch to the right of it. Follow the shadow line hugging the right side of the room to eventually get into position to kill any enemies in the area (usually 1-2). Make a right when you see a truck with a limber load protruding out of the garage. Turn left and kill the enemy standing in the corner. To your right there will be 3-4 enemies patrolling around the middle of the lot so use the shadows and the top of the trucks to take them out. There is also typically a lone enemy standing in front of a window in the building straight ahead of you, so take him out however you please. The building on the left side of the lot also usually houses a single enemy so move in behind the white semi or the door on the far right side and take care of him. Then there's usually another single enemy in the very next building. Head in there and jump on top of the stack of wood and shoot him from there (if his position applies, otherwise use whatever means necessary). When they're all dead follow the arrows to the next zone inside the building where the guard standing near the window was. (Zone 3) This zone can be done extremely quickly if you're careful. If not you'll be retrying at least a half a dozen times, so take your time. Turn right through the doorway and quietly walk along the wooden hallway towards a shadow spot at the end near the stairs. Use your sonar goggles to locate the enemies who are wandering inside the offices to the left. Hop over the ledge and make your way across the building from the outside. If you're going to use the grab from ledge kill it's recommended that you jump in and take them as a human shield, then kill them on the inside. If you throw them off and outside you may trigger an alert, but as long as no one is around go ahead and do it however you please. There is almost always two enemies in the office at the very end of the stretch of the building. One way to approach it is to silently kill the lone enemy in the first office, then use the mark and execute on the enemies down in the yard. Stand in the shadow underneath the staircase on the right and execute the 3 (should be 3) enemies in the area. One is patrolling in the middle, and the other two are stationary on the right side. Once you kill the one in the separate room on the right, another enemy should be alerted and come to investigate, making him easy to pick off from where you're standing. The remaining few enemies will be hanging out in the yard to the left of that spot. There are plenty of cover spots and shadow so make good use of them. When they're dead go to the next zone through the double doorway on the far left corner of the map. (Zone 4) Use the stash if need be then head through the double doors on the right side of the garage. Go straight ahead of you and jump up to the ledge on top of the stock piled wood. From here mark and execute any enemies within range if you have one, then quickly shimmy across the ledge to hide yourself a little better. There are at least 4 enemies to deal with on the right side of the map, and the rest are in the middle or far left. Be careful of the turret patrolling the right side of the mill in between a row of stocked wood. Just stick to the ledges on top and isolate your enemies while taking advantage of shooting lights for extra shadow, and your mark and executes. When they're all dead head through the double doors in the far left corner to get to the next zone. (Zone 5) Get what you need from the stash then head up the stairs, down the hallway, make a right and through the door. Leap over the ledge and down to the first floor. Take out the lone guard if he's there then head towards the shadow spots in the left corner. From here shoot out a few lights to cover yourself. There

is usually one (sometimes two) guard/s looking out the windows of the booth above you so take them out by throwing them over the ledge, or moving around the right side entrance to flank them. Be mindful of the turret at the end of the first section in the left corner near the conveyer belt. When the first section is clear jump up onto the conveyer belt and drop down to a shadow spot. Use your goggles for some recon here, then take out the remaining enemies however you like. Usually there is one in the far middle on the first floor, and one in each of the offices in 3 of the 4 corners. Sometimes there's one on the right side of the room in broad daylight. Just stick to the shadows and move slowly as you pick off each target. When you're done the level is over and you're headed back to the lobby. F1. Printing Press ----------------(Zone 1) Turn left and take out the lone guard nearby if he's there. Otherwise jump up onto the semi in front of you, then mark and execute all the enemies in the room (usually only 3 with a 4th one in the room beyond the far left corner). After they're dead head into that room and switch off the lights. From this spot you can easily mark and execute a few enemies in the warehouse, then quickly cover yourself again. In the previous room there is a pipe to the right of the doorway you came in from that intersects with the two sections of the warehouse. If you want you can use it for great positioning on almost all of the enemies in the area. When they're dead head through the yellow double doors at the far left corner of the warehouse and proceed to the next zone. (Zone 2) Use the stash if needed then proceed through the hallways into the museum. There's typically 3-4 enemies in the first area. Move through the middle down the shadows in between the cubicles, then mark and execute as many of them as you can from here (usually this spot will have 3 in range). If you don't have an execution you can earn one quick by taking out the guard in the middle that's covered by shadow. Otherwise just pick them off one by one using cover and shadow like always. Move straight to the other side of the room towards the small flight of stairs leading to a gallery. Shoot the light above the walkway near the stairs, then hide yourself back down in the first room. Wait for a guard to come by and tag him in the head with your gun. Carefully move up the stairs and quickly shoot the light on the ceiling to your left. Move along the walkway and shoot as many lights as you need to cover yourself. Turn right and hang out in front of the open window here. Mark and execute as many enemies as you can from this spot and kill the stragglers with a scoped rifle. After that simply move around the shadows as needed to finish them off. Get to the next zone by going up the stairs in the far right corner of the room, then proceeding through the next two doorways ahead of the rooms and down a series of stairs. Open the door and turn left and you'll be back outside. (Zone 3) Use the stash if you want then turn left and go through the door on the right into the garage. Move through the garage and turn right into a larger room. Shoot the light on the ceiling to your right then make your way around that side using shadow, and taking out any enemies that may be nearby. There's usually 3 on the first floor here, and no telling how many on the top floor beyond the curvy staircase. Hide near the structures in the middle and wait for a guard to wander to a shadow spot alone, and take him as a human shield. After that mark and execute any enemies on the first floor, and if there are any looking down from a window on top. When they're taken care of head through the obscure hallway below the staircase and shoot the light. This will likely

attract one or even more guards so hide yourself and take them out however you want. Move up to the door at the end of that small hallway underneath and mark any enemies you see in the next room with your goggles to keep track of them. Usually there is one guard standing a few feet in front of the door looking to his right. Open the door and take him out quietly. Finish the zone out easily by sticking to shadows and taking your time with each kill. Use the ledges of the surrounding structures to help as well. When they're dead head through the double doors marked at the end of the room and turn left to reach the next zone. (Zone 4) Turn left after the stash then make a right. Shoot the light on the ceiling then head through the double doors. Make a left and hide yourself in the corner then recon the area with the sonar goggles. Usually there are 3 guards talking near an explosive barrel far down to the right near a patrolling turret. Don't use the barrel unless you want to deal with reinforcements. Instead turn left and jump up and over the ledge past the catwalk and down to the other side. Turn right and move along this area slowly while taking out lights and any nearby enemies. Also be wary of the turret which has a pretty wide range in this area. Sometimes there will be a lone guard overlooking the area from a catwalk in the far left corner, so take him out with a scoped rifle or a grab from ledge death. When that room is clear go up the stairs in the middle and go through the single door at the end of the catwalk. Shoot the light in this room, then mark any enemies you can see with your goggles while standing in front of the next door. Open the door, execute as many as possible, then hide back in that same room. Cover yourself up against the side of the door and pick off any enemies within range from here with whatever gun. Usually there will be 1-2 stragglers left on the far left side of the structure in the middle of the room. Turn left out of the room and leap over the ledge down to the bottom. Then head straight around the left corner of the structure, turn right and jump up and over the fence to the catwalk. From here move up the stairs or down the pathway in search of your final targets. Shoot lights if you have to and make sure you're not spotted. When they're all dead head to the final zone through the double doors in the far left corner of the bottom floor of the room. (Zone 5) Use the stash then make a right and cover yourself against the left side of the wall here. There's usually 3 enemies talking in the middle of the next room, along with a patrolling turret right above you. Shoot the light that is almost directly above the enemies and hold for a second. Wait until they disperse a bit then move to the right of the room when the turret is on the left and make your way to the climbable structure in front of you that has a skid on top. Stay here for a minute and do some recon, along with marking and executing if you have it as an option. When you're satisfied hop back down, move left, then make a right after the first wall. Move around the middle of the room and stay hidden behind some cover as you take out the rest of the enemies in the area. There is another 2 skids you can hide on to the left of the room so make use of them. As you near the far end of the room stick to the right, but be aware of guards who quickly peek down the side of cover spots. There is another skid to hop up on in the middle near the end of the area. Get up there and drop down to the other side to get into position to finish them off. Be aware that a lot of the lights in the left corner are unshootable so be careful. Stick alongside the shadow lining of the wall on your left and keep moving. When you reach the garage door, sprint across it to the right and enter the final area of the zone. Usually there will be a guard or two wandering around the catwalk directly above you, and a guard patrolling the bottom floor (typically starting from the left side behind the wall that you're near). Once they're dead the level is done and you're sent back to the lobby.

G1. Third Echelon (Added May 12th, 2010) ---------------Note: This map is currently only retrievable with a code provided by Gamespot to U.S. residents with a membership (free or otherwise) of their website. You can register for a Gamespot membership for free and receive the code by clicking on the link below the tagline of the 360 version of Splinter Cell Conviction. However, to my knowledge there are only so many codes available which were being given out starting at 3 a.m. eastern standard time on May 12th, 2010. This map is also available to play in Infiltration, Last Stand, and Face-Off game modes. (Zone 1) Go through the door on the left right in front of you then turn right and through the door leading out of the server room into the nearby hallway. Turn right, go through the door and take out the lone guard in this room. Go back out to the hallway, turn right and run down all the way to the end and hang a left. Move in front of the desk at the end of the shadow and recon the area to your left with your goggles. You should be able to see 2-3 guards patrolling this hall. Move close to the thin wall on your left then jump up to the low ceiling which overlooks the cubicle area. Use your goggles again and mark as many enemies that you can (should be about 4, 2 of which you weren't able to see from back in the other hall). Hang around the edge of one of the gaps in the ceiling and wait for for the right time to kill a single enemy with death from above... then execute any enemies who may be in range after you do. Take out the rest by sticking to the shadows and using the desks for cover. You can jump up to the second low ceiling while standing below it near the middle of the room. Go to the end of the room, turn left and shoot out the lights above this next hallway. This should attract the attention of 1-3 of the remaining enemies so cover against one of the protruding pillars on the right. Wait for them to disperse then isolate one for a hand to hand kill. Use your goggles to mark as many of the rest as you can see and execute them how you see fit. Usually there will be 3 in your immediate area after shooting out the lights, then 2 more patrolling the offices further down on the right. The outside ledges beyond the offices directly in front of you provide excellent cover as well as a way to move from room to room. When they're all dead go all the way down to the end of the hallway between the offices and turn left to proceed to the next zone. (Zone 2) Head up the stairs and hold here for a second. Turn your goggles on and recon the office you see beyond the double doors to your right. There's usually one enemy patrolling it, and sometimes will spot you if you run out to the hall right away, so wait for the right time then quickly get into the shadow area just past the doors inside. Don't go too far because there's a patrolling turret with a spotlight rotating in the room above the desk. When the turret moves to the opposite side of the room, quickly jump over the middle of the desk and hang a right into the shadow ridden room next to it. There may be a guard in here too so be cautious and take him out with a hand to hand kill. From here shoot the guard in the room you just came from behind you in the head if he's there. Now jump over the middle wall in between the 2 doors with metal detectors and drop down to the other side. Alternatively, you can wait for the turret in the last room to move to the left, then run up the stairs in the left corner. Try not to run as there is usually one guard patrolling the offices up there. Take him as a human shield then throw him off of the ledge to attract the attention of the guards patrolling the bottom floor, or just quitely snap his neck where you are. Jump over the ledge that overlooks the bottom floor and mark the enemies remaining in this room. There should be one patrolling the 2nd floor of Reed's office which is on the opposite side of you, and 2 more moving around the bottom. If you have an execution go ahead and use it from the ledge

(all 3 enemies should be in range if you move to finish them off however you like. A quick way to with a rifle while using the ledge for cover. At side of the bottom floor of the room and prepare

the right spot), otherwise do it is to snipe them all any rate move to the right for the next area.

On the other side of the open wall here is a turret that patrols in a 360 degree fashion, so cover up against the edge of either wall and time your movements carefully. Remember that even if a smidge of the light touches you it will trigger an alert and the turret will likely gun you down right there. When you have some room move closer towards the hallway and shoot the lights above it to give you some more cover. There will be 5-6 enemies left, all of which will be patrolling this hallway, and the glass covered offices on either side of it. If you wanna end it quickly just pop a portable EMP charge, melee one enemy, then quickly mark and execute the rest. Otherwise you'll HAVE to shoot lights like crazy because there is basically no shadow anywhere in this area. The walls in between each office can be climbed and leaped over, which also proved shadow spots to hide and snipe from. When they're all dead, go to the next zone by going through the yellow double doors on the left at the very end of the hallway. (Zone 3) Use the stash if you need to, then go through the double doors at the end of the hall on the left. Move to a shadow spot quickly, then use your goggles to recon the area. Typically there are 3-4 enemies patrolling around the first and second floors of the offices on your left, and 1-2 enemies moving around the immediate hallway. Mark and execute as many as you can to start (if you have an execution). You can earn one by doing a hand to hand kill on the guard that wanders to the middle of the hallway by himself, then execute the rest if possible. If you end up shooting any glass during a shot or execution, be sure to get behind cover/shadow asap because it always draws attention from 1-2 enemies who are patrolling the large open room on the right or the hallway in the same direction. Also be careful of 1-2 enemies who could potentially be patrolling the offices to your right along the right side of the perpindicular hall. If you wanna be extra quiet about it, you can start by taking out the enemies in that area one by one, then backtracking after you've killed all of the enemies there, and in the large open hall in the middle of the map. You can reach the second floor via the staircase in the far right corner at the end of the hallway, so use it for better vantage points if you want. There's also sometimes 1 guard up there but usually not. Another way to approach it is to hide behind the wall in front of the catwalk behind the stage on the opposite side of the large room in the dead center of the map. This is a great place for sniping, but the second floor of each office area can do the trick as well. When they're dead the mission is over and you're back to the lobby. ==================== II3. Last Stand Mode ==================== Last stand pits you against multiple waves of enemies which you need to protect an EMP device from. This mode allows for more flexible movement and more aggressive strategy and can be a blast. The main thing I can tell you is to make good use of executions, and be sure to shoot out as many lights as you can around the level when you have downtime in between waves to help cover yourself and maximize your strategic approach to every situation. You can retry from the last starting wave if you die so it's not a big deal if you do. I recommend playing with a partner for this one. Each map has 2 areas to play Last Stand in. ======================= III3. Infiltration Mode

======================= Note: This mode is only available through the Uplay website which is accessible through the main menu of the game. You can create a Uplay account for free but you have to earn enough Uplay points (40) in order to retrieve it from the rewards section. Infiltration mode is the same as hunter mode, except if you trigger any alerts whatsoever, the mission fails so you have to use even more discretion than before. You can still leave a body out in the open for someone to find but don't get spotted physically by anyone. Also they added laser traps and cameras with lights. If you get spotted by a camera or trip a laser the mission fails also, so make sure you make good use of your sonar goggles. You also can't shoot out the cameras, making it even more difficult. How to beat it is the same as Hunter mode except you need to use your goggles once in a while to spot and avoid laser grids as well as the cameras not found in the other game modes. Consult the Hunter walkthrough above you to use as a guide, just be sure to use your goggles from time to time to spot the laser grids. ============= IV3. Face-Off ============= Face-off pits you against another human player along with a chosen set amount of CPU enemies in a deathmatch to see who can get the most kills/points. =============== V3. Co-Op Story =============== The Co-op campaign puts you and a friend through the first 4 maps found in the deniable ops game modes. Each level is flooded with enemies the same way as in Hunter Mode, but you'll also have other objectives to complete, and a fairly decent story line. (Walkthrough) Note: Most of the strategies to those found in the Hunter due to the random generation was written during REALISTIC and Normal modes may vary. provided in this section are nearly identical mode walkthrough and some are very generalized of enemy position in each area. This walkthrough difficulty play. Content found in the Rookie

Recommended Equipment - Pistol: Five-Seven Alternate Weapon: AK-47 or MP5-SD3 Primary Gadget: Remote Mine Secondary Gadget: Proximity Mine, EMP nade or FLash Uniform Upgrades: Armor x2, Gadget x1 A2. St. Petersburg Banya ----------------------(Canal Entrance) When you can take control of your characters start by eliminating the enemy to the right of the gate entrance. Collectively neutralize the 2 enemies in the courtyard to the left of the mansion. Head inside via the double door entrance or the pipe on the left and move up the staircase to the top. You can lure one enemy in the next room by shooting out the light on the left then take him out. A second enemy will be looking down at the courtyard through the windows on the left. When they're down go up to the second floor by way of the staircase to the left. Obviously your partner can take the first floor but it's a matter of preference. The security room is marked by your objective arrow, so make your way to the

office near the rear stairwell in the far left corner of the main hall. There are 2 enemies on the left side of the second floor, and a few on the first floor, one of which can be taken out by shooting down the chandelier on the ceiling if you choose. Otherwise take them out however you like or sneak by them using shadow and cover until you reach the security room. Both players need to press A near the panel on the floor to activate their EMP's and disable the internal security. Now you need to head towards the bath house marked by your objective arrow, but be careful because after you disable the security there will be about 9-10 enemies closing in on the main hall along with emergency lights being put on. Make use of your dual executions and the provided rails and shadows to take them out. After they're out of the way get to the bath house through the double doors on the north side of the hall. If one player makes it there first you'll have to wait for your partner. Use the weapon stash if either of you need it, then make a left through the locker room up to the double doors. (Steam Baths) Head through the double doors and perform a hand to hand kill on the guard with his back turned to you straight ahead. Turn right and head to the end of this first room. Recon the area with your goggles to see 2 enemies in the room to the north, and 1 patrolling the hallway on the left. Take them out using the pipes above the rooms or however you wish and continue onward. Move to the end of the hallway on the left then hang a right. There is one more enemy patrolling the end of the hallway here, so take him out. Hop up to the pipe above you and recon the room on the right with your goggles. There is one enemy leaning against a railway in the middle, and one in the alcove to the left of the room. A 3rd enemy is patrolling back and forth from left to right. You can execute the first enemy from the pipe if you wish, otherwise go cover to cover and reach the rail directly in front of you on the left and take out the enemies however you want. If you hang from the pipe for a minute or so a second enemy will wander towards the middle and you can execute both of them there. When they're taken care of head in to the alcove on the left of the room and stand in front of the double doors. Recon the room in front with your goggles, and mark as many enemies as you can (there are 4). Each player must press A near the door to open it together. Execute the enemies on the other side then wait for your next orders. After that there will be several enemies coming from the kitchen which is to the left of the room you're exiting so make use of your grenades and executions particularly to get out of the mess. When it's all clear head left in to the kitchen and towards the next objective through the double doors. Make a left then go right through the second set of doors and use the weapon stash if you need to. Turn right after the stash then head left using the provided shadow and take out the first enemy to the left of the pillar. There will be 5 enemies left in this room, so mark and execute as many of them as you can, otherwise use cover and shadow. When they're dead go through the door (or a window) on the second floor to the balcony. Jump over the left ledge of the balcony and shimmy your way across the building to your right. There will be about 6 enemies moving around the courtyard which you can pick off from the ledge, otherwise go down to the ground via one of the pipes and use the provided cover and shadow. Don't forget you can also jump up to the hacienda structure in the middle of the area to pick off enemies as well. There will also be 2-3 enemies in the building ahead on the first floor, but none on the second unless they moved from there after they spot one of you. Open the double doors on the other side of the first floor to reach your objective and interrogate him. I recommend doing it against the stove on the right and the fridge in the middle. When you're done with him you'll take him as a human shield, then move him towards the door on the right past the exit of the room to your left. When the enemy on the other side opens the

door shoot him then dispose of your human shield and move ahead to the next area through the hallway. (Vice Den) Use the stash if necessary then head left down the hallway and stand in front of the double doors at the end. Recon the area with your goggles from here. There will be a lone guard patrolling around the barrels in the immediate hallway, so take him out quietly and shoot any lights you need to in order to provide more shadow. Move towards the left side of the hallway and go down the staircase in the rear corner. Use your goggles here and you will see at least a dozen characters or so but a couple of them are dancers on the bottom floor. Mark as many as you can and head through the bar room on the right. Careful entering the bar because there is one enemy patrolling it, so shoot out any lights you need to. While hidden in the bar look to the left then mark and execute as many enemies as you can see from here. After that use the bar as cover to take out the rest of them in the area, and don't forget about the ones on the top floor looking down over the rails. When it's clear turn left at the bar and go past the staircase you see in the right corner of the lounge. Jump up to the ledge straight ahead of it and head left into the office where you're objective is. After you get it go down through the room below you and turn right down the hallway to get to the next area which is the warehouse. (Garage) Use the stash if you must, then turn right and head through the door. There are 4 enemies to deal with in the first room, usually with one of them hanging out on the staircase in the right corner. Use the ledges above the pillars and the provided shadows to take them out. Try to save executions for the last area if you have them. When it's clear head up the staircase on the right, then hang a left through the boiler room jumping over the pipe in front of you near the wall. Make a left when you see the explosive barrel, then a right into the main hallway. Head down to the end and through the single door (be aware of a single guard who may come through) then cover up against the fence on the left. Shoot the lights in the room then take out any enemies that come investigating. When it's clear go through the door on the right side at the end of the room into the parking lot. Make a left and jump up to the white semi you see here. Pick off as many enemies as you can from this spot making use of executions and grenades. There's about 6 enemies to deal with but sometimes more if you are spotted. When they're all dead take the time to shoot out all of the lights in the level to provide more cover as you make your escape. Make a right at the far left corner of the room and stand in front of the double doors. Use your goggles and mark the enemy on the right side of the room (The other enemy is the guy you have to interrogate so you can't shoot or mark him). Open the doors together and one of you execute the single enemy, while the other grabs the objective character for the interrogation. Move him over to the desk in the right corner and press A there when you're prompted to force him into picking up the phone. After the sequence he'll grab whoever was interrogating him as a human shield. Press A if you're the unlucky player to jerk him around and give your partner a clear shot. After he's dead you'll learn the police have started sweeping the area. When you are able to, head back through the double doors that you opened and wait for a flashbang to hit the screen. Shoot the light above you if you didn't already then quickly move to the right side of the lot. Be aware that you can't shoot the cops, only melee them to knock'em out. If you shot all of the lights out it will be easy to maneuver around them, otherwise make use of your portable EMP devices. When you enter the hallway to the right of the parking lot there will be 2 cops coming down from the other side using flashlights so cover yourself against either side of the wall in shadow

and wait for them to pass you. At the end of the hallway turn left then right into the boiler room. Go to the end of the room behind the door on the right and recon the area from here. Open the door or go through a window and use your portable EMP's to stun everyone. When it's clear head to the elevator on the left side of the room and the level is complete. B2. Russian Embassy -----------------(Consular Offices) Note: The enemies in the first 2 areas before you reach embassy can only be knocked out with hand to hand moves any means. If you trigger any alerts the mission fails. spotted by an enemy or a camera. Also remember that you the sake of keeping track of their positions. the inside of the and not killed by This includes being can't mark them for

Shoot the camera light in front of you then wait for the first two guards to move around and investigate. Use the provided shadows and cover spots to either take them out or sneak by them. At the top of the stairs turn right and head down the path near the thin structure stretching across the floor. At the bottom of the stairs in front of you use your goggles to recon the area. Split up and use the shadow and cover spots to take them all out. Be very careful and TAKE YOUR TIME. The plant structures on the right side of the area can be used to move around and reposition yourself so take advantage of it. Also remember that if you shoot a light it will make the surrounding guards more aware and they will use their flashlights so be careful. The quickest way to get through it is to move up the plant structures on the right side as high as you can go and position yourself above the middle of the area. Shoot the camera that is on the wall in front of you next to the stairs on the left. Now shoot the surrounding street lights and when it's clear, jump up the ledge to the right of the stairs and leap over it to quickly move into the hallway in the next area. Don't be shy about using your portable EMP either as you can refill it once you get to the weapon stash. Use the stash if you need to then go through the next two doors. Turn left and cover up against the wall while peeking down to see 2 enemies talking to each other. Either wait for them to disperse or shoot the light above them to make them start moving. Be patient and take them out when they have their backs turned. There will be 4 enemies in the area total so make use of the several rooms you can hide in and the provided shadow and cover. When they're all knocked out head to the far left corner of the area and leap over the ledge on the right. In the room below you a sequence will take place between the security detail and the other two characters. After the security guards kill them you will be notified that they are on your target list and you can kill them. Right when the game gives you an execution shoot down the light fixture above the guards to kill them. Jump up to the ledge below the office in the far left corner of the room and enter from there. Shoot the lights in this room then turn right and leap over the wide window opening leading to the next hall. Mark the enemy patrolling the bottom floor, and the one standing on the opposite side of the walkway. Execute them both when the enemy on the walkway is in range. If you have a scoped rifle go ahead and take out the guards you see in the security room straight ahead of you on the other side. Finish off any remaining enemies however you like. There should only be 5 or so at first. Head into the security room on the other side of the walkway but shoot out the light fixtures on the ceiling of the room first to provide extra shadow for the upcoming sequence.

Have one player hack the computer with A, then the other stand outside in the hall and await the wave of enemies that will approach afterward. One player has to stay within a certain range of the computer for one minute while the other takes care of the guards. The first 4 will come from the bottom left of the room so mark and execute them from the top of the walkway. After that more will come in from the north and east sides of the room, so make use of the cover rail near you, and grenades. After the first two waves enemies will pour in one by one from all of the different entrances so be on your toes. If your partner needs to be revived you can exit the computer hack and it will pause then continue once you get back within range of it. After the hack is complete a couple more enemies will come in through the left side of the room so don't fall asleep. (Public Building) Turn right after leaving the security room then drop down to the floor and go through the door on the other side of the hallway to the farthest right of the room. Use the stash if necessary and continue forward and head left through the door. You'll be notified of the laser security grids in the areas ahead of you, so use your goggles once in a while to spot them. If you trigger one of the lasers a multitude of enemies will close in on you so be careful. There is a laser grid in front of the door on the bottom floor to the right, and the door at the top of the stairs to your left. These first two grids are unavoidable and indestructible so just head on through. The enemies in the courtyard ahead will obviously become alert so be sure to cover yourself and shoot out lights to help the situation. One player can go through the bottom floor while the other goes to the second along the catwalks. Make use of dual executions and gadgets to clear out this area. Head through the first courtyard and turn left towards the far right corner. When you arrive in the second, a slew of enemies will approach from the north so hide yourself in the shadows on the left. One player can use the cover of the pillars to down enemies with their gun and gadgets, while the other flanks them by jumping up and over the ledge above you to the left. When they're all dead move towards the back and press A to inspect the blue crate. After that head through the doorway above the small staircase in the alcove behind you. Turn right and follow the hallway to the next area. Use the stash if you need to then move forward down the hallway. Turn the lightswitch next to the double doors off then head through. Turn left and shoot the enemy near the stairwell, then turn right and shoot the enemy standing between the desks. One player move around to the left of the 2nd floor while the other goes right. Shoot out the lights above you and kill the enemies you see in the room below you from here. Make sure one of you has or earns an execution before you leave this room. You can do so by doing a hand to hand kill on the guard in front of the rail ahead of you after entering the room. There are roughly 7 enemies patrolling the bottom area so shoot the lights above them for shadow and take them out however you please. There are plenty of cover spots and ledges to hide behind and above so make use of them. Also be careful of the laser grids in between most of the walls and displays. Jump up to the ledges and shimmy your way across to avoid them. Head to the double doors in the right corner of the room and shoot the two lights on either side of you. Use your goggles to mark the enemies surrounding the objective character. Open the doors together then use your execution. Grab the remaining enemy and interrogate him. While one player is interrogating, have the other shoot the surrounding lights and hide in one of the shadowed corners. About 5 enemies will close in on you after you're updated on your mission objective. Mark and execute them together as they approach, or just use your gadgets and take human shields to quickly dispatch of them. When they're clear head through one of the double doors on the north side of the room to go towards extraction.

(Rooftop) Use the weapons stashes at the top of the stairs if needed, then head through the double doors at the end of the hallway and turn left. Move all the way towards the edge of the rail and do a hand to hand kill on the enemy looking down. Stick to the shadows on the left side so you don't get spotted. Jump over the ledge and shimmy your way across it to the left side of the area. Mark and execute or just shoot the 2 remaining enemies from the outside of the ledge then continue down the pathway on the left. Move past the walkway on your left and hop over the ledge. Use the outside of the ledge to make your way across the walkway moving right to avoid the laser grid. Shoot the 2 enemies at the end of the walkway from the ledge, and the lone enemy to the right of you in the next area. Jump up and over the ledge near that guard then over the fence on the right. There are plenty of lasers in between the air ducts on the roof here so stay crouched and move across the other side of the ledges accordingly. Take out the 2 enemies at the end all the way to the right. One player can go right and move across the ledge on the left of the roof over the gap to get to the next area, while the other can move through the wide hallway ahead of you. In the next area of the roof there will be 3 or 4 enemies on the levels above you so take care of them with hand to hand kills and make sure you have executions for the upcoming sequence. Be careful of the lasers near all the walls as you make your way to the top. Shoot out as many lights as you can then drop your IR strobes at the top. Quickly cover yourself behind the series of 4 fans behind you. Mark and execute as many of the enemies that close in on you as you can. Some will come from the bottom right corner, and others from the left side of you. A more effective strategy is to have one player hang from outside the ledge to the far left after the first wave of enemies so you can flank the second to a degree. Eventually the chopper to extract you will come to the top near where you dropped your strobes. Press A when it says extract, and don't stand too close the ledge in front of you because the game will think you want to jump over. When you both make it on to the helicopter the mission will end. C2. Yastreb Complex -----------------(Shelter) Go to the end of the tunnel and plant the C4 on the right with A. Quickly turn around and cover yourself from the explosion. Leap over the barricade and turn right. Move to the small hiding spot in between the right side of the train and the end of the track on the floor. Watch out for the guard that will walk towards the metal ledge in front of you and take him out by throwing him over that structure. Hang around here and spot the lone guard patrolling the left side of the train which your partner can easily take out. Hop over the metal ledge then jump to the ledge above one of the pillars surrounding the shadow spot in the middle. From there mark and execute as many enemies as possible. If none are in range, wait here for any guards that may come wandering down from the stairs to your right and take them out. After that move to the shadow area below the stairs and recon the remaining enemies with your goggles. Wait for the right time to take each one out and be patient. There will be a couple more enemies alone in each of the two rooms in the left corner of the map, so take them out however you want. Also be aware of a possible 3rd guard near the far right corner of the top floor. There is also a breaker in that corner that you can use to turn off all the lights on the bottom floor so use it if you want. When it's clear go through the door on the second floor in the far left corner but watch out for the camera mounted on the left wall.

Use the stashes if you want then go through the door at the top of the stairs and turn left. Take out the lone guard looking at the left wall with a headshot, then jump over the counter on the right in between the metal detector and the wall. Take out the guard looking to his right through the next room with a hand to hand kill then move on in there. Shoot the guard that you see walking in the hallway opposite the small black gate if you get the chance, otherwise don't worry about him for now. Turn left into the next room but not before blowing out the lights on the ceiling. Move along side the shadowed area on the left between the wall and cubicles. Cover up against the pillar in the middle and shoot the guard looking out of the window ahead of you. Stay here and take out the guard patrolling to your left. Move left and continue through the room. Go through the door on the right that has a lone enemy standing in a room. Take him down then jump up to the ledge directly above you. Hang here and use your goggles to recon the enemies approaching from the right (should be about 3 of them). Take them out with the execution you just earned, or just headshot them while staying hidden. When it's clear drop down to the floor on the other side of the ledge you're on, turn right, then a quick left and cover yourself against the wall under the window in front of you. Use your goggles to recon the area ahead of you (should only be one enemy patrolling around the left side). Take him out then jump through the 2 windows through the office right in front of you and get all the way to the double doors on the right at the end of the room. The hallway ahead of you has a camera on the right side, so be mindful of the spotlight. Shoot out the lights above you then take down the enemy that is standing in front of the door that exits the hallway on the left, and shoot the camera if you have to. Stand in front of the double doors and use your goggles to recon the next room. There should be about 4 enemies within range so mark them before entering the double doors. In the next room look up at the ceiling and jump to the ledge of the hole in the wall. Move ahead towards another hole a little further down and use your execution once the desired number of enemies are in range. Stand next to the hole and recon further ahead with your goggles. There may be one guard who comes to check out the bodies you just killed. If you have the opportunity, use death from above on him, but most of the time he just turns around and continues his patrol. Drop down to the floor when the coast is clear and cover yourself against the wall to the right of the doorway in front of you. Peek out the edge and shoot the light on the ceiling of the next room. This should attract a single guard to come investigating, and when he does take him out with a hand to hand kill. Now move into the office through the door on the left and take out the lone guard patrolling in here. Go to the next room via the door in the right corner then cover yourself against the left side of the door on the right. Peek out and shoot the enemy guarding the double doors in the head. Go through the double doors, turn left, go all the way down to the end of the hallway and open the locked door together. Hop over the ledge and drop down into the archives below. Turn right, bash the door in with B and quickly grab the objective character to interrogate him. After you take him as a human shield the lights will come on in the room behind you. Use your goggles to mark the enemies on the first floor, then execute them as you move forward. The rest of the enemies can easily be taken out by your partner, or by moving the human shield around and shooting them. If you have to get back to the second floor there is a stair case on the right edge of the room. When it's clear move him to the far left corner of the bottom floor and force him to open the door with A near the retinal scanner. After it's open he will put you in a choke hold and take you as a shield so be ready. Press A to give your partner a chance to shoot him. After he's dead go through the doorway and turn right. (Archives)

Use the stashes if you need to, then make your way to the end of the hall until you see a room with 3 large pillars. Turn your goggles on and move past the 3 levels of laser grids. Go through the doorway on the right at the end and cover yourself against the desk on the left. When it's clear, jump over the desk and melee the guard in front of you with his back turned. If you do it while the second guard is nearby he'll be slightly alerted, so take him out asap. Go through the door to the next hallway and make a right in the middle and up the stairs to the left. Shoot the lights in this hall then cover yourself up against the wall on the left just before the entrance to the archive room. Peek out towards the area ahead and recon it with your goggles. Move to the right of the walkway and position yourselves to mark and execute as many enemies on this side of the room as you can. After that use the provided cover and shadow to take out the rest but be quiet about it. Be aware of the guards coming from the north side of the second floor as well as the west. Hop up to the top of a book case and shoot enemies from there if you must and stay on your toes because there are upwards about 20 or more enemies to take care of. Shoot out the lights in the ceiling for extra cover. When it's clear have one player start to hack the panel to the right of the door in the middle of the second floor. When standing in the beginning of the level on top it will be the objective which is roughly 15 meters away from you. After you start the first of the four hacks you'll have a limited window to hack the rest before the mission fails so be quick about it, and make sure you don't wander out of range before the one you are hacking is done. As one player hacks have the other take out any enemies that may come to stop you. When it's done head to the far left of the room towards the next closest objective which will be about 11 meters away on the second floor. Have one player hack the next panel here while the second takes out incoming enemies. The hacking player can also help by shooting enemies from the top of the book case on the left (you'll still be in range for the hack). The first enemy comes from the door in the bottom left corner and makes his way to the top by way of the bridge like walkway on the left side of the second floor, as will every enemy that follows. Now quickly drop to the bottom floor and head to the far right corner of the room where your next objective is (20 meters away give or take). Start the hack then wait for enemies to pour in. One will come from the door on the right of you, while another will come from somewhere on the second floor. Hide in the provided shadow in the corner near the security panel and wait for them to make their moves. Most of the time you won't have to deal with them period so just hang out unless any of them make their way to the panel and spot you. Around this time you'll be notified that you only have a couple of minutes left, so don't waste any time moving to the last panel. You can hack the panels in any order that you want, and remember that each one will be completed much faster the closer you are to it, and if both of you are in range of the hack. When it's all done head through the double doors on the first floor on the left towards your next objective. Turn on your goggles to see the laser grid in the room on the left with a turret mounted on the wall on the opposite side. Look for a pipe on the ceiling to the left and use it to get through the grid, timing your movements carefully. It's probably best to have one player at a time go through it. Drop to the bottom when you reach the end of the room and cover yourself against the wall. Move to the right of the room as you're covered then take out the enemies in the next room with an execution if you have one. If you don't take the guard on the right as a human shield, then shoot the one in front of him with your pistol. Now go through the doorway, turn right down the stairs, then make a left down the tunnel to reach the next area. (Vault) Use the stash if necessary then keep moving. Make a right and head down the

stairs to the end of the wall on your left. From here shoot the light at the end of the room in front of you to attract the 2 guards nearby on the left and right sides. Wait for the right moment, then kill them both. Head left towards the objective and cover yourself against the box to the front right of the storage room where the arrow is leading you. Go cover to cover against the wall on the left of the entrance and wait for an opening then take out the two guards patrolling the room. Move to the far right corner and press A near the panel on the ground to use your EMP's. After a conversation with the voice in your head you'll be prompted with your next objective and a wave of enemies (2) will come searching the room you came from. Recon them with your goggles and take them out when the time is right. Turn left out of the storage room and head through the double doorway you see at the end of the room. Shoot the lone enemy here then take out any surrounding lights that you can before you move on. Hop over the fence on your right and cover yourself against the box to your left. From here use a scoped rifle to take out the enemy on the corner staircase. When the searchlight passes, run up to the enemy in front of you on the same floor and melee him. When the coast is clear run up the stairs, hang an immediate left, then cover yourself in front of the structure on the right wall. From here use your goggles to recon the area, then mark and execute the 3 enemies in front of you on the next staircase along with the guard in the low level of the tower overlooking the middle of the entire area. When the searchlight starts moving left quickly run up the next flight of stairs, hang a left and cover yourself behind the stacked boxes. When the searchlight passes head up the next set of stairs, turn left and cover yourself somewhere in front of the small fence. From here you can pick off a few enemies with a rifle, just be accurate so you don't give away your position. When you're satisfied jump over the ledge to the left of the fence and shimmy your way across to get past it. Before you jump back over move a little further down and headshot the lone enemy standing in the corner behind you. Head up the stairs and cover yourself behind the barricade when the searchlight is clear and stay here for a second. If you have the chance cover yourself quickly behind the stacked boxes on the left. From either of the last two described cover spots you need to take out the enemies you see to the left of the next staircase using executions and scoped rifles. There will be about 5 more enemies in the far left corner of the room on a different catwalk so be aware of them. A well placed remote mine usually does the trick. Note: It's usually best to have each player scale to the top one at a time or at least make sure each of you has something to cover yourself to hide from the turret lights. When it's clear head through the doorway to the right of the cluster of enemies you just killed. Turn left but be aware of a lone guard patrolling the hallway. Take him out then wait near the weapon stashes for your partner if necessary. (Armory) Use the stashes if you need to then make a right and down the hallway to the next area. Go to the edge of the wall on the right and recon the garage from here. Move around the shadows and take out the enemies as you see fit. There will be 3 enemies initially and a few more in the tunnel on the left. If there's an alert while you're in this room there will be about 5 enemies closing in on you from that tunnel, so be careful and cover behind the supply crates near you. Also be aware of enemies who may come down from the room above via the staircase on the right, and ones who will shoot at you from the windows in that room. When it's clear head down the tunnel and keep moving forward. Also be aware of the room on the right through the door in the beginning of the tunnel, as enemies may come from here as well. If you can, shoot the dual light fixture staring at you in the room ahead of the tunnel to cover yourself as you move forward. There are roughly 12-15 enemies

to take out between the two rooms so work together and use your executions when you have them. When it's all clear head up the staircase at the end of the second room. Go through this room and down the stairs in front of you. Open the door at the bottom together and turn right down the narrow tunnel. When you reach the final area you'll hear some dialogue from the enemies ahead of you. Cover yourselves against the walls and shoot as many enemies as you can from here. After attracting attention, stay in those spots and pick off enemies that come into your range. Jump up to the pipe above you and move to one of the corners. Move around the cover and shadows to finish the rest of them off. There is a mounted gun all way on the right side of the room with two enemies on either side of it. Make sure it doesn't spot you because it will get nasty which you don't want at this point. Move all the way around the room starting from the left corner to get into a position to kill the guards near it, otherwise just stay out of sight as you move towards the final objective. Activate the crane with A, but make sure the gun turret isn't looking before you do it. Then move to the next panel and activate that with A. Be aware of the enemies who are now looking down in the room from the catwalks to the north. WARNING: There is an absolutely ABSURD amount of enemies who will continue to pour in from the opening in the far right corner. Make use of explosives and dual executions and try to stick to the shadows and pipe in the bottom right corner. Don't be ashamed of moving back into the tunnel where you came from as it provides excellent cover. If you run out of ammo try to find an AK-47 from a downed enemy and make use of the scope. When you have the chance, both players need to shoot the crane holding the storage bin which is above the turret that the objective character is in. When that's done move towards the wreckage and turn right through the narrow hallway in the next tunnel. Go through the fence via the opening on the left side, turn right into the room where it says C4, and move to the wall at the end of this room. Press A then wait for your partner to perform an assisted jump to exfiltrate and end the mission... phew... D2. Mozdok Grounds ----------------(Logistics) Note: Any alerts triggered will result in mission failure, but you can kill your enemies using any method desired unlike the first area of the Russian Embassy. Use your goggles off the bat and mark as many enemies as you see (should be at least 3 with a 4th patrolling near the middle and end of the first room). Move around the left side of the semi near the shadow. Use your portable EMP to stun everyone, then take one as a human shield and kill the rest quickly with the execution you just earned. Move around the right side of the area and jump up to the ledge below the wide windows above you. Take out the enemy patrolling between this room and the rear staircase by using either a grab from ledge move, or just shooting him in the head from the outside of the ledge. Go through the door on the right of the top floor, or down the rear staircase beyond the opening to the right of the bottom to enter the next area. Head to the left side of the room along the shadows near the supply racks. Crouch and walk through the opening between the wall and the crates on the left and cover yourself against the box. From here, shoot the guard standing below the camera, then wait for a second guard to investigate and shoot him

as well. Shoot the camera light if you wish, then jump up to the ledge above the long narrow panel on the left below the server room. Move along the ledge to the right and kill the guard looking down by throwing him over. Shoot the lights in the server room then do one of two things. Either trigger your EMP's together and continue, or clear the tank emporium through the door of enemies first. Once you trigger the EMP's you'll have more shadows to cover yourself, but more enemies to deal with so I recommend clearing the emporium first. During the sweep of that area be mindful of the searchlights on the ceiling which are unbreakable. It's usually best to Move around the far left side of the catwalk and position yourselves around here to take out the new wave of enemies. Don't forget about executions as well. When you're clear go all the way to the far left corner of the room when you're prompted by the objective and head down the stairs making a left towards the weapon stashes. (Engineering) Note: Alerts triggered will no longer result in mission failure Use the stashes as needed and make your way forward. Turn right down the first hallway, then left at the next. Cover up against the left side of the wall and recon the area ahead with your goggles. Jump up the pipe above you and take out the 2 enemies talking in the hallway ahead. The camera in the same hallway is unbreakable so walk softly. Hop over the ledge in front of you, then shimmy your way down the hall past the camera when it's light is on the other side. Do it one at a time just to be safe. You can also have one player stand above the window in the beginning of the area and pick off enemies with a scoped rifle, but if you alert the enemies below you'll have to deal with quite a swarm of them (hence stealth and discretion being suggested). Once you're past the camera jump back into the hallway, then back over the right side above the ceiling of the computer room below you. Drop to the ledge below the left corner onto the catwalk below. Hop over the ledge of the barricade on the right and shimmy your way all the way to the end. There is one enemy patrolling the perimeter of this corner, so wait for him to walk below you and take him down with a death from above. Be careful of the camera behind you. If he doesn't move around to your position, just drop down to the level below and go to your character's left. Cover yourself against the barricade on the left and make your way to the end of the catwalk. Take the guard on the next catwalk as a human shield, then mark and execute any enemies who are below you or otherwise. Snap his neck and continue towards the objective, being mindful of the camera lights on almost every level. Do your best to remain undetected to avoid contingent waves of enemies. In the right corner of level 3 there is a room where you can deactivate the fans for a way to move through the level. Press A near the control panel to deactivate them, then get to the ledge above you by doing a 180 and climbing the pipe in the back of the room. Drop down to the ledge and shimmy your way across to the right and drop back down to level 3. On level 2 there is a turret control panel in the small alcove in the far left corner. Use it to take out enemies if you want but be aware that they'll know you're position if you do. Keep going down the stairwell in the middle of the room until you reach the same level as your objective arrow. Watch out for the turret above you and cover yourself against a barricade near some shadow. There will be 2 enemies coming your way through the door ahead, and a 3rd to the right of the door they came out of. Take them out and head on through to the next area. (Test Labs) Use the stashes if you need to then continue onward. Turn right down the hall and keep going until you are in a boiler like room. There are 2 enemies to kill in this room, so take them out however you like. Usually the first one is looking down over the rail in the middle of the room, making for an

easy hand to hand kill. The second is typically patrolling from left to right on the far catwalk. Head left and jump over the rail down to the bottom of the room. Crouch and move under the low ceiling here, then turn left and climb up the pipe. Climb to the floor after moving to the right side of the ledge and use your goggles for recon. There is one enemy working on something with a sodering iron right above you so take him out with a hand to hand kill. Mark the enemies in the room above and execute them if you see fit. Head up either of the staircases then go through the door in the far right corner of the thin room up here. If you executed the 2 enemies behind you it should have attracted an enemy that will be in this room by now so quickly melee him and move through the double doors on the right. Go through the open door on the left and melee the enemy staring at the terminal. Recon the area for the remaining guards who will be patrolling the surrounding hallway ahead of you. There will be about 6 of them, so split up and make use of the execution you just earned, then use gadgets and your guns to clean up the rest. If you need a good spot to hide and shoot there is a glass structure in the middle of the room which is hidden by shadow when you jump to the top of it. Also be aware of the cameras in the corners of the rear hallway. Sometimes 3 more enemies will come later from the left side of the room near the vacant office in the corner, so stay on your toes as you move around the area. When it's clear go through the opening at the end in the middle that's emitting a very bright light. Activate the airlock by having both players press A near the terminals on both sides of the room. Turn left and hug the shadow adjacent to the wall. From here mark as many enemies as you can with your goggles. Use a scoped rifle if you have one and take out any enemies within range. Be careful of other enemies being alerted and changing their patrol paths (just use your goggles frequently). Make your way up the stairwell through the opening on your left staying hidden as you progress. When it's clear go to the office in the corner of the second floor catwalk marked by your objective arrow. Press A near the desk to discharge the EMP. Use the shadow spot to the right outside of this room for cover to take out the incoming wave of enemies. The first 3 will come from directly across the catwalk on the other side of the room, with some from the stairwell to the left etc. One player can drop down to the first level and flank some enemies from behind. Make use of the barricades for cover, dual executions, gadgets and scoped rifles to wipe them all out. Take it easy on the explosions because this is a sensitive sequence for the 360 or your PC to render (mostly because of electric animations that the EMP discharge triggered) and you don't want it to freeze having come this far in the level. There are roughly 20-25 enemies to route in order to clear the area, and most of them spawn from the very top floor. Go up to that floor when they're dead to the intersecting catwalks in the middle to activate the rail (only one player required) then get ready for another wave of enemies. Turn right and climb the enclosed ladder for a nice hiding spot to mark, execute, or otherwise shoot enemies. Unfortunately there are only 3 to deal with and they spawn on the first floor. If one of you is still on the first floor, have the player at the top mark them, then the other execute them. When it's clear head through the doorway on the right side of the first floor and through the hallway towards the new objective. (Airlift) Use the stashes if you need to, then head through the double doors at the end of the hallway. Jump up to the ledge above the supply crate near the wall on the right. Mark and execute the 4 enemies within range of you. If you don't have an execution you can melee the enemy standing in the corner directly behind you. When it's clear find the control panels in the room. One is at the end of the first floor between the two locked down exits and the other is in the left corner of the second floor just a meter or

two away. When the doors open have each player sweep the area ahead through the exit nearest them. There should be 2 enemies on both sides of the silo walkways so take them out individually however you wish. When it's clear each player needs to activate two more door panels on both sides of the room with A. Upon entering the next room both players need to be ready to engage a single enemy right away. The player on the right can cover against the box in front of him and take him out, while the player on the left can do a hand to hand kill on his first enemy when he turns his back looking towards the other players position. From those two spots, mark and dual execute as many of the remaining enemies as you can (up to 8 if you're both using a five-seven). Besides that use the cover on the second floor and explosives to nail the stragglers. Activate both panels which are in the same positions and proceed to the next area. Usually the player on the right will have to deal with 3 enemies, while the player on the left has one to kill. If that's the case, have the player on the left take out his enemy, then engage the enemies on the right so the second player can flank them from behind. When they're dead activate the panels on both sides. The next area will have plenty of enemies to deal with so be ready. Start by having the player on the right execute 3-4 enemies in the middle of the second floor then move back to the previous room for cover. Keep alternating shots to engage the enemies towards one player, then have the other move in with a portable EMP pulse to melee one, and mark the execute the rest within range (take a human shield to earn the execution and provide you with some extra cover). When they're all dead activate the two panels (one being on the right side of the second floor, and the other being in the left corner of the top floor. Follow the double arrows if you are lost). Before you activate them have the player on the left shoot the light behind him for extra cover as you move to the next area. The player on the right will have about 4 enemies to deal with, so stay covered and wait for your partner to make a splash from the other side. When he gets their attention move in and flank them. Don't go any further than the boxes on the left as the turret will take you down easily and it can't be broken or stunned so be careful. When it's clear have the player on the right move along side the edge of the right wall and keep an eye on the turrets rotation as you move past it. Activate both panels to enter the next area. The player on the right should have a lone guard patrolling near him so take him out with a hand to hand kill when the time is right. Mark and execute the 3 enemies hanging around the middle of the second floor. Now go up the stairs to your right and shoot the lone guard standing near the end of the room from here. Activate both panels to get to the next room. One is on the right in front of the crate that's being moved, and the other is right below it. When the second player gets close Reed will inform you of reinforcements trying to stop your progress. Don't worry though because there's only 3 and they all come from the bottom left corner behind you where one of you entered this area. Hang from the ledges near them and shoot them to take them out (or however you see fit... they really don't even need to be killed as you can just turn right through the door that opens after the panels are activated to reach the hallway with the weapon stashes leading to the final area). When it's clear head that way and use the stashes if you need to. Turn left then right following the hallway down the stairs to the double doors on the end. Open the doors together then sit through the cinematic with Kobin as he updates you on the situation. When the cut scene ends prepare yourself for a major fire fight with the enemies coming through the large door straight ahead of you. Use the cover near and to the right of you in the corner. Have one player snipe (if applicable) while the other uses executions and explosives. Don't forget about the explosive barrels

around the area as well which are very handy. Be aware of the enemies who will approach from the top floor of the building to the right, and eventually from behind you as you move closer to the turret which you need to disable. Head up the stairwell to the right of the building and take out the lone enemy in the room. Place your EMP's on the objective arrow. After that the area will be covered in darkness but an army of enemies the size of a small country will be coming in from the right side behind the mounted turret again. If either of you have proximity mines (or remote mines) throw 1 or 2 down in the middle to the left of their projected path while you're looking down from a catwalk or the security room. Try to avoid using the pipe in the security room to hide because most of the time enemies will spot you right away and you'll be in a bad situation. It seems like the enemies never end, but trust me they will eventually. If you have executions... USE THEM! Also be aware of possible enemies sniping you from the catwalk all the way on the other side of the map. Try not to get frustrated as you may need to retry this sequence a few times. When you have a window, Head to the left of the map towards the new objective which is to raise the ramp of your escape plane. Use portable EMP charges if you have them and just RUN! Each player take a side and press A ASAP to finish the mission. E2. Bonus Face-off ----------------When the story is complete you'll have a bonus mission aboard the escape plane. Each of you will be prompted by your agency to terminate the other player. Whoever wins will earn the Survivor Achievement if they haven't already. Congratulations, Co-Op Story Mode is now complete.

------------------------8. Achievements ------------------------There are 45 achievements total for Conviction which are viewable under "extras" in the main menu. Some of them are easy and self-explanatory, but others... not so much. In this section I'll detail each achievement and give you tips on how to accomplish the more difficult ones. I put these in order of which they appear on my specific gamertag. Last Man Standing ----------------In Last Stand, survive all enemy waves of any map in one session without failing on any difficulty. This may be the hardest one in the game. Use the St.Petersburg area 1 when attempting this, and get a friend to help in split-screen if you can. It's doable by yourself but is a lot more challenging. St. Petersburg area 1 has two floors and a lot of areas to maneuver and cover yourself, so It's ideal for running around capping and taking out your enemies. Before the first wave hits run around and shoot out as many lights as you can, especially the chandelier on the ceiling overlooking the main area where the EMP is. The first few waves will only send 2-3 enemies at a time with weak weapons and no body armor so it starts out pretty easy, and allows you time to shoot all of the lights. At around wave 4-5 the enemies get armor and better weapons so you have to start being careful. One strategy I used from wave 4 through about 12 or 13 was to take a human shield and just move around shooting

everyone else. Also make sure you use mark and execute when you earn it, as it will save you a lot of stress. The key is to make the enemies focus on you instead of the EMP to protect it. If you're spotted all enemies will go after you and stop focusing on the device. From there move around the shadows and flank them while they focus on you're last known position. Most of the time there will be 1-2 enemies coming from each corner, accept for the corner that you're standing in. A good strategy is to make sure you have an execution before the start of each wave. Stand in the bottom left corner (if you're looking towards the radio in the back near the lamp on the desk). This way no enemies will spawn in the corner behind you with the office and stairs leading downward. Most enemies who come from the far end of the area will run up those stairs if you don't take care of them or trigger an alert. If you're standing here though, most waves will start with one enemy spawning to you're right in the corner, one in the far left corner, and one or two coming from the far end on the first floor. If you're using the Five-Seven you can easily mark and execute the first 3-4 enemies of each wave, and you can take it however you want from there. In the higher levels of waves the enemies spawning in the corner will double from time to time, so make sure you quickly activate your sonar goggles as soon as the 0 disappears from the timer. I recommend upgrading an outfit to utilize all 3 armor increases. Trust me you're going to want it, even on rookie difficulty, which is the mode I recommend doing this on anyway. Trust me it's tough regardless of the difficulty, especially near the end when you have to deal with like 7 enemies at a time. The gadgets I recommend are the proximity mine and remote mine, but try to save them for rounds 14 and higher. If you can't access the proximity mine then take a frag or flashbang. Save your portable EMP charges for emergencies, and believe me you WILL come across at least one or two of them. Any other questions about this achievement can be emailed to me. 50 points are awarded when you complete it.
