Recommended for: Longhorn AF hose is designed and engineered specifically for constant contact use in the transfer of alternative fuels such as bio-diesel, bio-diesel blends, ethanol and ethanol blends. It can also be used for transfer of commercial gasolines, diesel fuels, oils and other petroleum products. It is ideal for tank truck, terminal loading and in-plant operations. Temperature range: -30F to +180F (-34C to +82C). Warning: Do not convey fuels over 120F (+49C). Tube: Type C (Nitrile). Black. Reinforcement: Synthetic, high tensile textile with steel wire helix. Cover: Type C2 (Modified Nitrile). Black with green and red spiral stripe. Couplings: 7 , 26 or 49 (reference pages 122-133 in Gates Industrial Hose Catalog 39496-000 July 2007).
