TERM 2 2012: APRIL JUNE Courses Executive survival Our very popular hands-on course for anyone who

o wants to learn the basics of good cooking. The Executive Survival Cookery Course is a participation course, which runs over a period of 8 weeks. The 4 hour classes are held once a week, in the evenings, commencing at 6 p.m. The classes are of a practical nature and certain dishes are demonstrated, but students keep what they cook. All ingredients are supplied. Students are taught a variety of dishes and the correct techniques and cooking methods applied to food preparation. Starts: Tuesday 24th April ends Tuesday 19th June 6.00pm - 10.00pm Cost: R2200 per person Domestic Assistants Beginners Course The Domestic Assistants Basic Cookery Course is a participation course which runs over a period of 8 weeks. The 4 hour classes are held once a week, in the mornings, commencing at 9.30 a.m. The classes are of a practical nature and certain dishes are demonstrated, but students keep what they cook. All ingredients are supplied. Students are taught a variety of dishes, basic kitchen skills, correct techniques and cooking methods, table setting and telephone skills. Students MUST be able to read and understand English. Starts: Tuesday 24th April ends Tuesday 19th June 9.30am-1.30pm Cost R2200 per person

Guest chefs Light the Weber with Jean Nel Celebrate the last of summer with a groot braai on our balcony. Learn how to prepare a hot smoked side of salmon, blackened beef fillet with garlic mayo, chicken kebabs with pomegranate molasses, sticky chicken wings, lip smacking ribs and more. Knife skills 101 with Chef Grant Morrily Knife skills are the most important aspect of kitchen life- learn how to clean, store, use and sharpen your knife correctly in this very important lesson. Bookings and payment If you are interested in doing any of our courses, please phone Candice on 021 658 1162 or email cbrevis@pnp.co.za. We will give you an invoice number and payment details. Please note that courses are only held if a minimum number of places have been booked. We accept payment by cheque, direct deposit or EFT. Full payment details will be provided with your confirmation email and invoice. We accept cancellations and refunds up to three working days before the start of a course. If you fail to attend a lesson, we will not refund the fee. We look forward to seeing you at the Cape Town Good Food Studio!
