REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIO (RFQ) AGAI ST TE DER SPEC. O.TD-362/12 UTTAR PRADESH POWER TRA SMISSIO CORPORATIO LTD.

UPPTCL invites RFQ (Request for qualification) from interested bidders or consortium of companies registered under company act, to pre qualify for supply, erection & commissioning contract for construction of approx 90 Kms 220 KV Double Circuit Jhansi Lalitpur - Lalitpur Switchyard Transmission Line on turnkey basis (including towers, conductor, insulators, OPGW/ earth wire and all associated hardwares and fittings etc.) against tender specification no.TD-362/12. The bidder has to quote for entire length of line and bids for partial length shall be liable for rejection. Date of submission/opening of RFQ is 11/05/2012. The RFQ documents shall be available on UPPTCL website www.upptcl.org after 10 days of publication of tender notice. Interested bidders can download the bidding documents and commence preparation on bids to gain time. However, it will be mandatory to purchase hard copy of bid documents from the office of the Superintending Engineer, Electricity Transmission Design Circle, 10th Floor, Shakti Bhawan Extension, 14-Ashok Marg, Lucknow 226001, U.P. India, on payment of non-refundable fee of Rs.11350=00 (cost-Rs. 10,000.00 plus VAT @ 13.50%) in the form of a demand draft in favour of Executive Engineer (Attached), Electricity Transmission Design Circle, UPPTCL, Lucknow. Earnest Money for the above RFQ shall be Rs.20, 000=00. Without the Earnest Money or the tender document cost the RFQ bid shall not be opened. RFP (Request for Proposal) documents shall be sold to successful bidders who qualify the RFQ and its date of opening shall be intimated later. Sale of RFQ documents shall start w.e.f. 11/04/12 and shall end on 10/05/12 at 17.00 hrs. Prequalification documents, in triplicate, shall be received up to 14.30 hrs. on 11/05/12 and shall be opened at 15:30 hours on the same day. In case of public holiday on the above date, submission / opening will be on the next working day.
