Az 6kori 1)zel-l<e1et tortl?netenek tanulmanyozasaban a XX. sz. masodik fele nemcsak


szenzaci6s szovegleletek megtalalasat hozta, hanem a tudomanyos m6dszerek jelent6s fejlodeset is. A rokon es tarstudomanyokkal egyre termekenyebb kapcsolatba kerulO regeszet es
tortenelemtudomany ujfajta kerdeseket kezdtek feltenni az 6kori tarsadalmakkal, az emberek
eletm6djaval, gondolkodasaval, intezmenyeivd kapcsolatosan. A forrasok gyarapodasa es a

Az 6kori Izrael tOrtenetet illeWen jelenleg Miller es Hayes szamit a legujabb standard
