Pennsylvania Department of Education Academic Standards, 3 Grade, History Activity 3 Description/Rationale: After creating their Wordles the student will take all of the information that they have gathered from creating their timelines and researching on the approved sites by their teacher they will create a 10 question quiz using the web 2.0 interactive tool Quzilet. The information from the quiz will be used to help fellow students learn more about their classmates chosen President as well as the student who created the quiz. Instructional/Behavioral Objectives: 1. To gather researched information and create an insightful quiz. 2. To allow fellow students to learn more about their classmates chosen President. 3. Follow instructions to save information that will be used at the end of the unit. Direct students to the website Quizlet where they will be inputting the 10 questions and answers about their chosen President. http://www.quizlet.com Encourage students to create thoughtful insightful questions that will not only help them learn about their chosen President but will be beneficial to their classmates as well. Students will save their created Quizlet online and copy and paste the embed html code to a word doc that will be saved to their Evernote account to be used in the final culminating project.
