ASSIGNMENT ON PERSONAL STRATEGY

Goal setting is a very important thing for every individual in this world. This will help them to decide their career. My goal setting was started from my childhood which changed me from playful boy to a responsible person. This responsibility made me to develop my academic skill as well as personal skill. Till my age of twelve I was very playful, I didnt liked to go to school. Then I was put in a residential school by my parents. Joining in that school is something for my family financially. But somehow my father managed to send me; this motivated me to work hard. I started performing well in my academics. In my tenth standard I set a goal to get more than 85% marks. As a result I worked very hard and got 87.5%. Having achieved this I set a similar target in twelfth standard but I was able to get only 83%. I was little depressed but took it positively. At present I have to achieve two goals. The first one is to get a job as a financial analyst in a reputed financial company and simultaneously take care of my fathers business without any problem. The second one is to start my own business for which I should start earning for the capital. Some of my strengths which help me achieving my goals are:

Smart worker & hard worker Self Confident and Self-motivated Adaptability and tolerance Ability to withstand pressure Presence of mind Work concentration.

Ones current performance directly affects their goal. My academic performance right now will help me get a good job. My interest towards the extracurricular activities makes me learn more things. The core values which I stick on to are honest and trust in me which endure me to achieve my targets effectively. Values will give a clear idea to others what kind of person I am and how I will value myself when the circumstance is critical for me to achieve my goals. I take so much risk in my fathers business but whereas my father does not want me to take. But I manage to take risk without his consent and get success mostly. So nowadays my father allows me to do any changes in the business. Though I work hard, my weakness is whenever I get some problem personally I cannot able to work properly thinking of that problem. I am practicing myself to differentiate personal life and professional life.

My values I am a person who is true to everyone. Always wanted to help the needy people. Respect everyone. These values help me in achieving my goals. My Responsibilities Secure good marks in academics Get good knowledge Should learn more things Should take care of the business efficiently

Calculated risk taking: Though I take risk, I take only calculated risk. Before taking any risk I will carefully analyse the possible outcomes of the risk taken. If it doesnt affect the basic functionality of my process only then I will take that risk. I dont take any risk blindly.

Though I am able to tackle the competition given by the competitors, am not able to tackle the personal problems which affects my competitiveness in my career. I am making myself fit in all kinds of situation which will help me achieve my goals in the near future.
