4th Grade Economics Resources and Economy

Lesson Plan # 4 out of 5

Assessment: Students will be assessed based on participation and by their completion of their vocabulary/study guide. Reflection:

What skills do students need in order to be successful with this lesson? Students need to pay attention during the reading in order to answer the study guide. How will you follow up or extend this lesson? I will use extend this lesson by having students do research about the national parks that are closest to us. They will be able to present their information to their peers. What can you do for students who dont grasp the concepts? I would let students work in pairs to identify the different industries in the West and why they are important. Where do you anticipate having problems with this lesson? If students are working in pairs, they might get talkative and not get as much work done.
