Althoughtheword"Trinity"(HashilushHakadosh)doesnotdirectlyappearintheScriptures,itisan entirelyJewishconcept,derivedfromboththeTanakhandtheB'ritChadashah.Scripturally,Godis revealedas"triune"insomeofthefollowingways: 1. PluralNames-Elohim(,) thethirdwordintheTanakh,isapluralform.ThisNameis oftenassociatedwithsingularverbs,thoughinterestinglysometimesappearswithpluralforms (asinGenesis35:7,Psalm58:11). 2.
