MINISTRY UPDATE CURRENT ACTIVITIES: 1.

Community Discipleship: We have continued meeting every Saturday with community children and adults to study Gods Word together.We have seen spiritual growth ONLY in a few but we press on with the study. We would like to introduce lunch in our community discipleship program knowing that most of these children come from single-mom families, who are without a job and very often come asking for food. We have ourselves these past months struggled to put food on the table and pay rent etc. and are so thankful for those who have given to help us survive we look forward to being able to extend provision to the community as well! We have continued to offer this discipleship program under a mango tree, the rainny season is beginning soon and we would love to build the first structure on the property. We need to build 10m by 10m multi-purpose space that we can use for our discipleship programs on weekends and can also be used for the agricultural training for the community. We need $5,367.50 to finish this building. 2. Manuel's Pit Latrine: The pit latrine that we mentioned in our last newsletter, for Don Manuel, had to be built from the bottom with blocks because of the type of soil (volcanic soil which is full of rocks is very porous and could easily colapse). We have built the inside and now need to finish the wall and put up the roof. We need $200 to finish this pit latrine. 3. Aquaponics 2012 We are in the process of building a 30,000-gallon fishpond, which will allow us to raise 12,000 fish per year. To build and finish this fishpond, we are short by $6,589.59. This fishpond will facilitate the producion of at least 500,000 pounds of food per year through aquaponics. This project is 100% selfsustainable and will help us to sustianably provide fresh food throughout the year to the children in our support now and those that will be in our daily care. 4. Teams for May 2012 We are preparing for two overlaping teams scheduled for the month of May 2012, the first team will be helping to reach 33 people in our community with the gospel, we have been praying for these men and women and we know that the lord will prepare their hearts for the good news. If you feel lead, please check our blog for the names of the people we are interceding for and please bring these names before the Lord, that these men and women would come to a point of turning away from their sin in repentance. After the outreach, the team will help with construction. We need to buy some materials for the construction part of it.

5. Summer Teams and Interns We are also looking forward to at least one Summer Team and three possible Interns who will be working on construction and sustainability projects as well as evangelism!
