1. What kind of VGA supports HDMI? Some of Geforce 8 Series, all of Geforce 9 Series, and Later Model supports HDMI output to your TV or Monitor. For our VGA, there are two keys to identify this Function: a. The VGA has a HDMI connector. b. The VGA has a Black DVI connector, this type need a DVI to HDMI dongle. 2. How to connect the vga to your flat panel display or TV via HDMI? a. Please check if your VGA support HDMI output. b. Connect the motherboard or sound card SPDIF_OUT to the VGA SPDIF_IN with the bundle 2 pin cable. c. Choose the HDMI audio in your sound card control panel. d. Connect your TV with HDMI cable to the VGA, for some model, additional DVI to HDMI dongle is needed. e. Then your TV will show the image and play the audio file in your PC, just with one HDMI cable. 3. What is NVIDIA SLI technology? NVIDIA SLI technology is a revolutionary platform innovation that allows you to intelligently scale graphics performance by combining multiple NVIDIA graphics solutions in a SLI-Certified motherboard. Now has two type of SLI, a. b. SLI for Multi identical Nvidia graphics Card SLI for independent NVIDIA Graphics Card and built_in NVIDIA Graphics Card in nForce chipset based motherboard. 4. How to configure the SLI function? a. Choose the SLI_ready VGA, SLI_ready motherboard and SLI-ready Power Supply Unit. b. Insert the two or three identical VGA into the pcie_16x slot on the

motherboard, and if any, connect this vgas with SLI bridge Connector within the motherboard bundles. And connect your monitor to the first VGA (near to the Northbridge of your motherboard). c. Boot your pc and enter cmos settings to enable the SLI function in the related item according to your motherboard manual. d. Enter the windows desktop, and install the latest VGA driver. After driver installation, the SLI functions is default to be disable, please enable it in NVIDIA Control Panel. e. If your GAME is SLI_ready, then the SLI will boot your game performance up to 2X as single VGA. Enjoy it. 5. How to configure the Hybrid SLI function? a. Choose the Hybrid SLI_ready VGA, Hybrid SLI_ready motherboard and SLI-ready Power Supply Unit. b. Insert the independent VGA into the pcie_16x slot on the motherboard, and connect your monitor to the built_in VGA of your motherboard. c. Boot your pc and enter cmos settings to enable the Hybrid SLI function in the related item according to your motherboard manual. d. Enter the windows desktop , and install the latest VGA driver. After driver installation, the SLI functions is default to be disable, please enable it in NVIDIA Control Panel. e. If your GAME is SLI_ready, then the SLI will boot your game performance up to sum of the independent VGA and the built_in VGA. Enjoy it. 6. Does your PCI 8400/9400 VGA support my old motherboard? The VGA is original from PCIe based VGA GPU via a PCIe_PCI bridge, And if your motherboard has following items, then the VGA will work. a. Your motherboard has Pci slot, and supports pci 2.0+ spec. b. Please check if your motherboard vender has the latest release bios than yours, if sure, please update first. c. Your motherboard cmos has such or like item, VGA first initial : PCI/AGP or PCI/PCIe; d. Other motherboard has no such the item like c may support this PCI VGA,

but we have not tested it. 7. The screen was black after installed video card. a. Turn off the power and pull up the video card from motherboard. b. Clean the golden finger of video card. c. Clean the PCIe slot. d. Put the video card is the PCIe slot (make sure it connect well) e. If there has 1 or 2 6pin power connector on the top right corner of the video card, please connect extra power to them. f. Turn on the power. 8. The resolution fixed to 640*480 after installed driver and cannot be changed. a. Removed driver first. b. Restart the computer. c. Install the driver from CD that came with the video card. d. Restart the computer again after installed video driver. e. If the resolution still cannot be changed, please download newest driver from sparkle web or nvidia web and try again. 9. Cannot play 3d game after installed video driver. a. Make sure your system has installed directx9 or directx10 b. Test directx diagnostic from windows directx tools. c. The windows directx tools is in All program--->Accessories--->System Tools--->System information--->Tools--->Directx Diagnostic tool d. Try to play 3d game again after Directx Diagnostic test completed. e. If still cannot play 3d game, please download the newest driver from sparkle web or nvidia web and try again. f. Please also check game makers web site if there is any patch file released.
