Dear Stew, In your search for women I found the perfect girl for you the other, however she is happily taken. Her name is Sarah Marie Samson she is a beautiful 20 year old woman. She works as a nurse in the hospital on Pearl Harbor. She is dating one of the sailors oversees in which she told me of their story as I was next to her at the post office today as she was about to send off her letter to him. Family and Childhood: Sarah Marie Samson is one of three daughters of her two parents. Her father was in the Navy himself, so she has lived in Hawaii since she was ten years old, when they left her hometown in Arizona. Her mother was a stay at home mother just like Carters. Sarah decided to be a nurse when she was younger because she wanted to help men like her daddy.

Letter: Dearest Carter, I cannot wait for the day when I can jump back in your arms and feel safe again. Being in the hospital helping all the men remind me of you constantly. I live in fear of anything happening to you while your over there and pray every night that God will bring you back to me. Life here in the states is hectic and we constantly are hearing about the war. Everyone is praying for you all to come back home soon and hopefully win the war. People are beginning to critique the nurses saying that were just in it for the men, but they dont realize how strong my love is for you. I could never imagine loving another the way I love you, I even saw a lady today in the post office and told her about our story. She said she could just see how my whole face smiled when I talked about you and she could see how much I adore you. I feel terrible that im helping all these men here but I cant help the one I ultimately want too, you. Come back to me soon my love and until then ill write you everyday and smile as I read your letters to me.
